[open] summer's turn is nigh
🧙 WHO: Robyn and YOU!
⚔️️ WHAT: Various prompts, including quests (mostly animal-related ones).
🕒 WHEN: Throughout the month of August
🗺️ WHERE: Around Camelot, in or around Broceliande
⚠️ WARNINGS: None; will add warnings if anything comes up.
A. Don't Treep, Man

[After the undead incident last month, Robyn resolves to help out with repairing the damage caused in the farmland. As such, she's been tasked with rounding up stray sheep and herding them back to their owner's farm. Robyn's never done shepherding before, but she's watched shepherds at work plenty of times and she has her animal magic to help. If you're in the farmland at all, you may see her at the back of a flock of sheep with a look of concentration on her face; she's using her magic to make sure the sheep go where they're supposed to without any of them breaking away from the group. When one of them starts to stray, she uses the shepherd's crook she borrowed to gently nudge it back into place.]
Stay with your friends, alright? We don't want you or anyone else gettin' lost again.
B. Invasive Species

[Robyn already spends a lot of time in the forest of Broceliande, and she was taught how to be a hunter, so this quest should be fitting for her. However, she's trying to focus more on getting the woodland creatures away from the lake and back into the woods, not wanting to disrupt the Carcinuses too much.
Unfortunately, she inevitably finds herself face to face with one, its scorpion tail pointed at her and snapping its claws menacingly. Robyn is firmly standing her ground, with her wolf familiar Rowena at the ready to defend her if need be, but her voice is still clearly nervous.]
Please...go back to the lake. I don't want to hurt you, but you should go home. You can't keep attackin' the animals.
[The Carcinus snaps its claws again, and all Robyn can hear with her animal magic is its overwhelming want for food, with no other logic behind it.]
Please, just go back...! [Robyn points her crossbow at the Carcinus. She's reluctant to kill an animal without the purpose of eating it, but if she has no choice...]
C. I'm Running with the Wolves Tonight

[Despite having to deal with problems on Broceliande, that doesn't stop Robyn from going there most days or nights in her wolf form, simply to enjoy herself. She'll never get over having her sense heightened and being able to run and jump much faster and higher than she could as a human.
On the off chance that you're in Broceliande at night, you may hear the sound of howling. Following the sound will lead you to two wolves calling out to any other wolves that might be in the area; one is golden and covered with markings, likely someone's familiar, while the other one is small and slender.]
D. Wildcard
[Feel free to hit up this post with any other scenarios!]

I don't know what that is, but I'm a Wolfwalker, not a werewolf.
[Even if her abilities are different here, she hasn't stopped considering herself one.]

[Robyn remembers talking about something similar with Eustace, though she has yet to meet many people here who are like her in that way.]
no subject
[Lazily, Morgan drops down to sit on the ground, arms resting on his knees. He was starting to feel way too tall. This ought to be more comfortable for all concerned.]
Not common by any means. It skipped me, after all.
no subject
That's too bad. Bein' a wolf is...well, it's different, but it's pretty amazin'.
no subject
[He likes hearing about this sort of thing, but moreover, hearing it from someone who isn't his sister or her guardian -- neither of whom really want to indulge him. Though Morgan doesn't regret not being a Garou, he does occasionally wonder what it would be like. Who wouldn't?]
no subject
[She's clearly becoming more enthusiastic the more she talks about it.]
no subject
Do you get wolf instincts at all?
no subject
no subject
Huh, that's interesting. Between that and cent you must have a really good idea of what's around you for quite a ways./
no subject
I do, but it's somethin' I had to get used to. Before I got here, I was only a wolf once.
[She was actually brought here the first night she became a wolf.]
no subject
[Like, everything they'd been through so far.]
no subject
[It probably helps that Mebh was basically raised around wolves already.]
I guess this place does know a lot of things about us already...I also have healin' magic, and healin' is somethin' Mebh could do, too, but I never learned how until I got here.
no subject
[Interesting that she'd met a younger one first! That definitely implied a much different social structure to them... and his questions just keep growing! Oh, on that note--]
Oh, but let me know if I'm diving in way too deep here, I'm not setting out to be annoying. Honest!
no subject
[There are times when Robyn wishes she'd been able to spend more time with Mebh learning how to be a Wolfwalker, though at least she's had more practice since she was brought here.]
No, I don't mind. Back home, I couldn't talk about this with anyone except Mebh. Everybody else would just think I'm tellin' stories.
no subject
[Otherwise, this whole process is incredibly easy to buy. Werewolves are pretty much foundations of supernatural horror, after all.]
no subject
[At least, she hopes they are. She always has, even before learning about the Wolfwalkers and becoming one herself.]

Though back home, I would have liked to meet a mermaid. Or a selkie. I've heard there are selkies here, too.
[Even if they apparently cause trouble here.]
no subject
no subject
[And see a selkie, of course. But she'd still like to help.]
no subject
If there's any way, and I'm pretty willing to bet there's a way, you're in. I'll just let Caster know too.
no subject
[Despite her age, she's fine with taking different jobs each month, especially if magical creatures are involved. It definitely beats having to work in the scullery day in and day out.]
...who's Caster?
no subject
[The question is, how much does she know about selkie lore? For example, the whole pelt thing...]
no subject
[She knows about the whole "selkie's pelt gets stolen by a man who has her marry him" thing, though she's never understood why someone would put up with a situation like that.]
