Back to Basics
🧙 WHO: Din and whoever wants to join him
⚔️️ WHAT: Quests and the like
🕒 WHEN: Throughout August
🗺️ WHERE: In town mostly
⚠️ WARNINGS: Violence, fighting, will update as necessary
A - Animal Mage Hunt
[Din would hardly count himself an active defender of the downtrodden. He's had his moments, certainly, but his career often puts him in a place where that's not what he's paid to do. And maybe, once upon a time, he would have taken a job like this on. Wouldn't change the fact that it just seems inefficient, unnecessary. Lazy, for lack of a better term.
So when he comes across a group accosting a potential animal mage, he sighs, figuring he might as well do something about it.]
You really looking to waste time like this?
[He says, pointing his blaster into the leader's back. There's a small group of them but well, he likes the odds. He calls to the person being held up.]
You okay?
B - Invasive Species
[It was, in retrospect, not the most well thought out plan he's ever had.
Really, he should have expected the exoskeleton, though most of his focus had been on the stinger, and the claws. But it's exceedingly clear that his conventional weapons are not going to be as effective.
He sits up, checking himself over. Nothing's broken and once again, the beskar has held up. He's grateful for that. He takes a breath.]
Okay, plan B.
C - Crystal Mushrooms
[Now this is familiar territory. A dingy bar, rough looking customers, Din standing out because of his armour. He knows how this one plays. Certainly, he doesn't expect anyone to recognize him as a Mandalorian here but hopefully it's just as intimidating. He goes up to the bar, leaning on it and ignoring the looks he's getting. Once he has the barkeep's attention, he asks]
I'm looking for Wicked Wendy. Heard this was a hang out of her's.

Might be time to come up with one. Because that didn't work.
Joints seems like a good first time. Or flipping them over somehow.
no subject
[He looks thoughtful for a moment though.] Protective magic is a part of healing magic. I could make your armour more durable for a little while.
no subject
I was thinking something with my kinetic magic might help.
[If it can let him take a few more hits while he gets in close, that might help.]
no subject
It won't make you invulnerable, but it will help a little.
[Then he drew his hand back with a thoughtful sort of look.] If you can flip them I could probably hold them down. [Which gives them a chance to attack, perhaps?]
no subject
[Especially since he doesn't want his armour to lose its integrity any time soon.]
But that could work. Hopefully once they're on their back they won't be able to do much. But I have an idea.
[It's probably a stupid idea, but it's still an idea.]
no subject
[And be prepared to heal you if things go awry.
He also pulls out his bow..though no arrows.]
no subject
I'm going to try to bait it over to that rise. If I can knock it over on it's back, start attacking and I'll follow up.
no subject
On your signal then.
[He rests his fingers on the string of the bow in preparation.]
no subject
It's not much of a signal, but it's a signal.]
I totally lost this notif...
And then, he waits, watching and following the movement of the creature.
When Din yells and runs, it's enough of a signal for him to focus and blood slips from a shallow cut on his palm, past the string and to the handle of the bow. Now, nocked on the bow string was an arrow made of blood. Though this arrow was a little strange, the tip of it isn't pointed but slightly rounded.
The tip of the arrow follows the movement up to the rise as the creature, reaching close to the top, rears back a little to attack.]
