August Catch-All [Open]
🧙 WHO: Fumikage Tokoyami and YOU!
⚔️️ WHAT: August catch-all

⚠️ WARNINGS: Warning for potential violence in the third prompt, will update as needed!
Don’t Treep, Man
[Though Tokoyami hadn’t helped out with the initial wave of undead that had plagued the farms, he is here now to help with the rebuilding of the farms. And when he hears that animal mages can use their magic to help return the lost animals back to their farms, he knows what role he can do to help out while out at the farms.]
[But while he is going around and returning animals to their homes, he comes across an unusual circumstance. A small family of baby chickens, with no apparent mother hens in sight. Well, he’s not about to let them be on their own… so he kneels down beside them.]
Are you lost? Here, let me help you find your home.
[It might be a little strange, seeing Tokoyami being trailed by a small line of peeping chicks, but eventually he will have to go up to one of the others working on the farms.]
Have any of the farmers mentioned missing chicks? I have some here looking for their family.
Open House - Magician
[Visiting Camelot’s castle is a marvel in and of itself, and there’s so many wondrous sights to see within the castle. But what draws Tokoyami’s attention the most is the magician’s show. The magician’s knife-throwing and magic tricks is impressive, but when he is picked to learn how to do a death-defying escape stunt, he steps up to the stage with the other chosen volunteer as they approach the giant lockbox. He listens carefully as the magician explains how to escape from the locked box before the giant axe falls onto it and slices it to pieces.]
Hmm… it really is a matter of timing, isn’t it?
[He looks over to the volunteer next to him.]
Would you like to attempt first, or shall I?
Animal Mage Hunt - The Hunted (CW: Violence)
[Perhaps someone had noticed him during the tournament using his animal magic. Perhaps someone saw him helping use his animal magic to herd the local farm animals back to their respective farms. Perhaps someone just saw his head and made an appropriate decision. Either way, it seems as though someone has set their sights on the bird-headed boy.]
[At first he thought he was being a little paranoid, thinking that someone was following him. That ended up getting confirmed when he asked Dark Shadow and his raven familiar, Lenore, to keep an eye out for him and they also spotted the same group following him. And that gets even more concerning when he takes a detour to try and lose them, and that group of people suddenly have him surrounded.]
Hmph..! I’ve no idea why you’re hunting me, but I will not come quietly.
[He will do his best to fend off the hunters, but even with him being combat-trained, five on one is still staggering odds. He may need some help dealing with them, or escaping.]

Darkwing gives a thoughtful frown, while in the process of making sure that the fallen attackers are restrained.]
...It must be ignorance at play. I've heard rumors that assailants have been targeting animal mages for some ridiculous reason. They must have seen you and assumed that you are one, just because of your features. Even though we're actually people, not animals! And that wouldn't really correlate with being an animal mage anyway...
[He shakes his head.]
But I guess ignorant people aren't especially smart, either.

[That is indeed troubling. Tokoyami frowns, tapping his finger on his arm.]
Unfortunately... they are not too far off. One of my magic abilities does happen to be animal magic.
[So, in this case, it was indeed a case of correct assumptions!]
But even if it were not, that is a troubling development. Why are animal mages being targeted in the first place?

What I've heard is so ridiculous that I don't want to believe it. Apparently, some mischievous spells have been giving people random animal parts recently. And some "genius" has come to the conclusion that it must be an animal mage responsible - and put out a hit on any of them.

Ah, yes. This is Dark Shadow. He is my Quirk from back home. Normally, he is connected to me, and lends me his power when I engage in my hero training. But here, we are separate beings.

[Dark Shadow is more than happy to accept that handshake, grabbing it and shaking it enthusiastically.]
That's right. It's not usual for Quirks to be sentient, but...
[Ah... He should probably explain what a Quirk is, shouldn't he?]
In my world, most of the population has what is called a Quirk; a special, supernatural ability that you can do. Some can create fire, some can defy gravity, some can harden their skin like stone... Quirks are as unique as the person who wields them. For me, Dark Shadow lives within me and my shadow, and I can use him to help augment my own physical attacks, or use him over distances, provided it's not too bright.

Oh, that's fascinating! So that's what superpowers are called in your world. A bit strange, but I could see it catching on! So most people have it? That's definitely a different norm than I'm used to! And a fascinating one. You and Dark Shadow sure sound like an incredible team! I can rest easy knowing your world has its own terror that flaps in the night.

Thank you, sir... I do my best to try and become the best pro hero I can be. To hear a genuine pro giving me praise... it is a high honour. I will do my best to be a terror that flaps in the night, striking fear in the hearts of people like these villains.

[Aw, how adorable. Darkwing looks on proudly. But he feels sheepish himself, to have that praise heaped onto himself. Especially being called a "genuine pro" when he hasn't really been a hero for long.]
