(a. at the senshi (and friends!) house)

[ Minako's arrival hadn't exactly been.. pleasant. Somewhere between everything being so chaotic back home right before she showed up here instead, then suddenly being dropped into the water out of nowhere, and then getting covered in gross jelly stuff didn't exactly make it the most fun course of events.

But at least Makoto helped her over to the house, and now Minako has been able to bathe and get all that junk out of her hair, things are starting to look up a little more. Or at least, Minako thinks she looks presentable enough to be seen by others.

Which means she starts wandering the house, peeking her head into all the rooms so she can greet people with a: ]

Hi! [ You know, casual. Just showed up here. No biggie. ]

(b. on the streets of camelot)

[ If you just happen to be calmly walking along the city streets, your moment of relative peace and quiet gets interrupted really, really quickly.

Because you might suddenly feel something jumping on you. It happens so fast that you can't even see what it is, other than that there's a sudden pressure on your head, like something is clinging on for dear life up there. If you try to remove it - which is possible if you put some effort into it - you'll find it's a cat. A kind of.. odd-looking cat, since it's a little too big for your usual cat, but it's still definitely a cat.

Or even if you don't manage to remove it, there's suddenly a blonde girl outright charging at you, yelling out-- ]

Wait!

[ What do you do. Do you run. Do you stay. Do you ponder why your life suddenly turned out like this? ]

(c. outside a bakery)

[ After having managed to recover her familiar, Minako is making sure to tightly hold it to her chest, not wantin to start an entire chase scene all over again.

Which means things are a little bit calmer right now. Instead you might find the blonde girl standing outside a bakery, staring at the delicious goods inside, looking like she's about to drool right over them. ]

Ahh, it looks so good, right? [ She squeezes the cat-like creature a little. ] Maybe you were just hungry too.. Rough is the fate of those who don't have money.. [ Please, Minako. You literally have a house full of friends you're staying with. Cut down on the melodramatics.

Still, her stomach growls. Loudly. That chase must have taken some energy. Do you help out this poor blonde girl. ]

(d. on the streets of camelot, less chaos edition)

[ Or maybe you, very simply, just find the girl walking up to you on the middle of the streets. Do you know her? Probably not! And yet she talks to you so casually, as if you're not total strangers. Welcome to the power of an extreme extrovert. ]

Hey! Sooo.. if someone wanted to practice these new powers everyone's talking about, where do they do that? Won't you help a cute girl out?

[ Look at her batting those doe eyes at you! You're locked into this fate now. It's inescapable. ]

(ooc: as a note for those who have threaded with me on the tdm, i am more than willing to carry those over as in-game canon, so feel free to assume those interactions happened! c: )

[ Minako might seem like a total ditz at times, but it's not like she can't read into implications - or like she can't read into this one very specific implication here. She totally knows why he's saying that last part, and it's really sweet of him, even though Minako reacts in the most dramatic way possible.

By leaning a bit closer, her eyes shining, and saying-- ]

Have I wormed my way into your heart that quickly?

[ Two interactions and she's already reaping the reward of free pastries, baby!! ]

[Ren laughs a bit at that, amused. She truly is very adorable and charming at the same time.]

I'm not at all surprised, considering how charming you are. Would you like to eat the pastries together?

Yes!

[ There's absolutely no hesitation in that answer. She's probably already saying it before that last word can leave his mouth, and she points at a nearby bench. ]

Do you want to go sit there? All nice and cozy, close together? [ Minako, please find some shame. ]

[saxsongs]

[Now now, Ren likes how shameless she is. It's nice to sometimes be the target of such boldness.]

Sounds a great. I also have some iced coffee with me, should you want. One caramel favor and one regular.

[The other one was for Camus, but sacrifices are always meant to be made :)]

[ Poor Camus.. Ren better go back to get one for him later!

Because right now Minako is happily oblivious of the fact that he might have gotten that for someone else. No, that's way too reasonable of a thing to assume. Instead her mind has to wring itself into odd corners, to arrive with her logic all the way at: ]

Y-You got one for me in advance?! Us meeting here on the street today.. It must have been fate!

[ Yes, Minako.

Sure. ]

I'll gladly take the caramel one!

[saxsongs]

[It's not like Camus ever knew about the drink so it's fiiiine.

Ren walks to the bench and takes the coffees out of the bag to hand the caramel one to Minako.]

I'm happy the fates are on our side to bring us together like this, Minako-chan. I can't think of a better place to be right now.

Can't think of a better place..! [ She repeats, sounding incredibly excited about it. It's a small miracle that she doesn't squeeze that cup hard enough to just instantly destroy it with her enthusiastic grip..

But it's hard to not get carried away when you're sitting on a bench next to a total dreamboat who's complimenting you, okay. ]

Really? You already like spending time with me?

[saxsongs]

Of course. I hope the feeling is mutual.

[He winks, his charming smile ever the same and sparkling.]

[ It seems like she doesn't even have to think about it. Minako basically answers without even stopping to breathe first. How could she not love spending time with someone this handsome and charming, please, this is what she lives for! ]

I mean, it's a lot to suddenly be dragged to another place like this.. But at least it's filled with handsome people like you, so that makes it a little better! [ Sure, Minako has deeper and more complicated thoughts about it than that, but it's always easier to shove it under the carpet of superficiality. ] Though.. Don't worry, I don't think I've seen anyone more handsome than you just yet! So you have nothing to worry about!
