a. It's a Wedding!

( Tohru doesn't mind making dolls at all. It's a special occasion. She only hope that what she makes will be alright. A wedding is so important. Her Mom did tell her that it'd be one of the biggest days of her life – if she ended up getting married herself, that is. It's not something that she's put too much thought into for herself, but at the least, she can help make the day as wonderful as possible for someone else.

She's put a set of dolls at one of her windows. They're neatly made – one with a tuxedo, and the other in an extravagant dress, holding some flowers made of paper. She opens the windows, sitting next to the window with a bright smile.

She can't help but want to wait to see when the Storm Sprites would approach... She's pretty excited for them to receive their presents.

Eventually, she falls asleep waiting for them, but when she wakes up she finds a basket full of various chocolates and hard candy. She can't help but jolt wide awake then, waving her hands in front of her face. )

Oh, no! I wasn't able to tell them congratulations for their wedding! And, they were so kind to leave something behind like this...

b. Overgrowth

( Tohru isn't a fighter by any means. In fact, the magic that she was given here was healing magic. Not to say that she finds it useless, mind you. It means that she can help in her own way. If anyone gets hurt, she can heal them right away.

Which is why she's tagging along to help out with someone who seems to have lost their house. The last thing she wants is for someone to become homeless. Especially when the monster who's taken up residence seems really angry for some reason.

Luckily, the people who she had taken on the request with had knocked out the Kraken without too many issues, but Tohru makes her way to them quickly regardless. )

Are you alright? Please, if you're hurt in any way – allow me to heal you.

( She hopes that they can find a way to bring the Kraken back to the sea. She doesn't want to hurt it anymore than they had. )

c. Gardening

( It's hot lately, but Tohru doesn't seem to mind at all. Even if Spring is gone and summer has started now, she's going to take advantage of the weather and garden. Even if she doesn't have the proper magic to make plants grow, she can't help but feel as though nothing really beat old fashioned hard work!

After checking out the right books and doing whatever research that she can, she can be seen in front of the home that she's living at – carefully digging through soil before lovingly placing inside. At least, she doesn't feel like she's going through all of this blindly. A friend at home grew so many different vegetables. )

I have a really good feeling about this, Mom!

[ The word "mom" pings Della, making her stop instead of continuing to stroll on by as planned. Curious, she walks over, trying to look over Tohru's shoulder. Hey, at least Tohru is used to talking animals, right? ]

( A talking duck? How cute! And there's something that seems really cool about her, too. )

Oh, a lot of different things! A friend of mine grew a lot of vegetables back at home, and it always made dinner even better. So... I really wanted to try it, too.

( And if she does this, it's a little like having Yuki here with her... Though, that's a little silly, huh? )

Doesn't sound like a bad idea... and maybe in this weird magic world, you can grow weird, magic vegetables!

[ now THAT is a little silly. ]

Weird magic?! You really think so?

( She clasps her hands together. )

Maybe the vegetables will grow much bigger than they usually do! Or - what kind of vegetables do you think will grow?

[ In all honesty, Fenton doesn't think much about the girl gardening nearby, as he writes down notes to himself in a notebook while he walks. But the cocker spaniel beside him definitely notices, and with a cheery bark the dog runs over, more than happy to help her with her digging.

The bark does finally get him to look up, though, and he hurries after the dog. ]

Atom, no!

( She looks up from what she's doing when the dog approaches, her eyes lighting up. )

Oh, hello. Did you come to help? He's so cute...

( She looks up once more when Fenton approaches, smiling brightly. )

It's alright. I'm happy to have the company.

( Another talking duck? There are so many interesting people here... )

[doctorintern]

[ Atom is all too eager to keep digging, even as Fenton catches up and eyes the cocker spaniel. ]

Well, just be careful. He might start digging up what you've already planted.

[ He's watching you, Atom.

Turning back to the girl, he manages a smile of his own. ] Well, since we're already here...is there anything I can help out with?

Oh, it's alight. He looks like he's having fun.

( She doesn't mind redoing some work. )

Oh, no! ( She waves her hand in front of her face. ) It's kind of you to offer, but you really don't have to.

also c, I am sorry. Also spoiling the duck streak.

[Ever since that job helping out farmers, Dust has become at least mildly curious about the whole 'plow-plant-harvest-turn' thing he'd become a part of for that moment. (He has no idea that interest might in part be subsconsciously conflated with his partner for that adventure, so don't tell him.) So the sight of someone working hard in a yard to do more of the same draws him over.]

Is that... all food plants?

[Since Yuyuko's been practicing quite a bit with her kinetic magic, she's easily able to float up to Tohru's window to see what the fuss is about. She's happy to have some power of flight again, so it doesn't seem to register to her if anyone might be shocked by that.]

Oh, you missed them? What a shame. But at least they were kind enough to leave these goodies for you.

( For a moment, Tohru can't help but look a little defeated. )

I couldn't possibly accept them, though! This is their special day and all. If anything, they should be the ones who recieve a gift like this.

( W-Wait a second, she looks out the window, then at Yuyuko again. She speaks a little loudly and quickly. )

Oh my gosh -- are you... flying?!

Hm? Oh, no, I'm merely floating. [As if there's much of a difference...]

I assume you made those teru teru bozu for them, yes? Perhaps this is their way of paying you back for those.

Still, it looks like you're having fun. It's amazing to see what kind of magic everyone can do here.

( She quickly nods her head at her question. )

Yes, but... this really is their special day. It's generous of them to leave a present for others like this.

[Tsuna looks exhausted. He's soaked, bruised and generally looking like he had a bad time. He's also got a bit of a thousand-yard stare, this fight with the kraken mixing with memories of dealing with Enzio the Turtle. He gives his head a shake when he sees Tohru though.]

Oh...thank you...

( Tohru's doesn't try to hide just how worried she looks. He looks so hurt... She only hopes that she can help heal his wounds. )

Tsuna -- please tell me, are you alright? Where does it hurt? I'll do my very best to focus my healing where you need it the most.

[theskyaccepts]

I...I think I'm okay?

[He's not. He definitely got whacked a few times by a tentacle or two. He tries to sit up and winces, clutching his head.]

Ow...

( Tohru focuses a healing spell at where he seems to be most wounded then, a warm light surrounding his head. )

Please, we should take you somewhere where you can get properly healed.

[The Kraken had been quite a formidable foe, but fortunately Nanaki and the others who had come to dispatch it had done their duty. But it wasn't without some personal injury, and Nanaki is soon limping to the healers, ears angled to the side as he licks at one of his wounds.]

[When Tohru approaches, he nods to her gratefully.]

Thank you. That creature happened to get a few lucky hits on me that need some tending to.

( By now, Tohru's seen more than enough talking animals to not be surprised to see Red, but she can't help but wonder -- was this a... cat? Or a dog? It felt like it'd be rude to ask.

Still, he's so polite... and sort of cool looking, too. )

Uhm, of course! If you let me know where it hurts the most, I can focus my magic there.

( She offers a small smile. She's not one to really approve of fighting persay, but she knows that it couldn't exactly be helped in this instance. )

You did really well out there.

[He takes a seat near her, wincing as he favours his back left leg. There's a pretty obvious wound there, as well as a few other scrapes and cuts dotting his fur.]

Ah, thank you. This was a difficult challenge. Whoever thought it was a good idea to bring home a kraken was not thinking things through...

( Tohru focuses her healing magic on his back leg then, a warm light surrounding his wounds before beginning to heal a bit. )

... I hope we can help it get back to the ocean. I'm sure it'd be happier there.

Oh they just left. [ Mona had been eyeing the work herself, but idly walking about taking in the sorts of trinkets that were all about her. She wouldn't take anything for herself of course, but she enjoyed the hard work of others. ]

They seemed really happy and pleased with what you did, you can give yourself a pat on the back.

Oh, that's wonderful!

( Really, that's the best she could hope for. She never really needed anything in return. )

It's an important day for them. I'm grateful that I could help, even with just this much.

... Do you like doing things like this? [ Mona asks, seemingly a bit awkward but interested in the meaning and reasoning for it. ]

I find it strange, did you know most marriages don't typically last?

[ And then she ruins it with her facts. ]

That is to say, most marriages do not because it seems. Many people do not invest in the time and care to curate a relationship with each other. Before barring desire to share each others lives.

Yes, I do.

( Tohru answers honestly. It's not really just because it's a wedding, persay... She just likes doing kind things for others. She's always been the sort of person who finds happiness in making others happy. )

... That's true, but... I know that there are some instances where things like love really does last. And, I really believe that that's worth celebrating.
