⚠️ WARNINGS: Wacky shenanigans, Bakugou's potty mouth, overwhelming cuteness, BATHING SUITS?? Scandalous.


It has been a long month. A long several months for some who may need a bit of R&R and a ton of fun to drive the woes of those last few months away. With the weather growing warmer, the desire to keep cool grew with it...and what better way than with a big splash and a ton of fun?! Getting everyone together to coordinate a Beach Party was...difficult, but doable. Even those outside of Class 1-A were invited to have fun and enjoy themselves down by the sandy shore. Make sure to bring your bathing suits and belongings, this party's going on until the next morning!!


i. Stay Hydrated! (Swimming, water balloon/gun competitions, drowning your rival, etc.)

First thing's first, everyone in the water!! Sunblock up and get your H2O on in the best way possible! Coolers have been set up filled with frosty beverages as well as some, well...ammunition. Of course there's going to be water fights, what did you take this form?! Arm yourselves, Heroes, for a battle has been declared by one or several of your peers! Waterguns have been loaded up for those who wish to partake, and water balloons as well, but the true heavy hitters are those with elemental magic!! Show your stuff in a climactic battle against one another. Who will be the last one standing in this aquatic free for all?! WILL IT BE YOU?!

ii. Nitty Gritty (Sandcastle contest, beach volleyball, sunbathing, looking for shells/tidepools, burying your rival, etc.)

And after people have "cooled off" somewhat, enjoy drying off on the sand. Tanning, sunbathing and getting some color...the sky's the limit! Just beware of any stray volleyballs coming your way, Heroes, the competition is rightfully heating up like the midday sun! Seems nothing stays calm for too long when the raucous youths are having a good time. But, for those wanting a competition that's a little less strenuous, why not try your hand at building the most elaborate and well crafted sandcastle? Magic NOT allowed for this one, folks! Only the manliest of men and the truest of Heroes use their own sweaty palms to build something from nothing. Get to work!

Or, you know...you can just bury yourself or your partner in the and and make them into a parody of beefy muscle form All Might, or a gorgeous mermaid, if that's your thing. I'm not your sensei.

iii. I'M ON FI-YAAH (grilling/BBQ, late night bonfire activities (stories/songs), s'mores, dancing, etc.)

Wow, all that fun sure does work up an appetite! Not to worry, Heroes (and potential party crashers), food will be provided as well! Delicious barbequed meats - skewers, burgers, hotdogs, and even some grilled fish, too!! Get luck and find some clams in the sands? Heck yeah, let's start up a clam bake!1 The night is your oyster...er, clam! There's plenty here for everyone, so don't feel like you're being greedy! And of course, later in the evening when the fire has died down but the embers are still hot, marshmallows will be toasted to make the most fantastically scrumptious s'mores for all the sweets lovers out there. Enjoy a summer treat and share with friends!

But of course, bonfires aren't only there for food! How about some singing, dancing, and music? Or maybe a more...devilish campfire activity? Come up with the most gruesome, the most gory, the most horrifying tale to utterly spook Urara--I meaaan...your fellow friends and students.

iv. You're a Sky Full of Stars (stargazing and camping out on the beach)

At long last, the party is over and the night is calm and quiet. The final dying embers of the fire are but dim specks of red and orange, but the true fire is burning up above. Far from the light pollution of Camelot proper, million of stars dot the velveteen blackness of space in a beautiful portrait of speckled beauty. Keep your eyes up, maybe looking long enough one could see a shooting star. Make a wish, quick!! But don't tell it to anyone...

Then, curl up in the large tents that were brought along for a night of restful sleep. After such a long and fun-filled day, it's certainly needed for all. Just behave yourselves and don't be too loud so as to wake or rouse your neighbors, either.

I have seen all kinds of castle imagery. Castles made of stone, iron, basalt, bone... [???] Many have impressive spires, large illuminated windows, impassable gates of iron, looming gargoyles upon every buttress... Those who revel in darkness are naturally drawn to gothic architecture, and thus are inspired to make fortresses of their own to echo their own call to the eternal night.

Yes, a castle is truly an expression of one's inner heart. What better way to express one's soul unto the world?

[He... seems to be getting a little carried away.]

Ah, I see. Well, so long as they are enjoying themselves, and you are okay with things, then it should be alright. It seems quite an interesting magic, based on what I have seen.

[ Put two and two together. Yeah, this thing could have ( and maybe should have ) disappeared entirely. Then again, he's never really known how this Quirk works at all. Deku is the one that does, right? ]

[ Momo listens to Jiro's proposal, carefully picturing the design she's describing in her mind. Visualizing structures comes easy to Momo, thanks to all the practice she has with her quirk. Architecture is just on a larger-- or in this case, smaller-- scale. ]

Oh! Yes, that could work, I think... I would just need something to support the smaller archways.

[ She leans back to peer around Jiro towards the pile of seashells and driftwood. ]

[ Momo's eyes light up as well as she stands from her seat and bounces towards him. ]

Sure, that sounds like fun! A nice, friendly competition!

[ She's probably just as rusty as he is, but it doesn't really matter if the game is just for fun. ]

[ As soon as Momo hears Ochako's voice coming up behind her, her spine goes rigid and her hand flies to cover her mouth, knowing instantly she's been caught red handed.

Or in this case, tan handed, as she was using her magic to harden a patch of sand into stone so she could use it as a support for an archway she's building. ]

[ Tokoyami is certainly a good storyteller. Even though logically, Momo knows they are safe here on the beach below the White Cliffs of Avalon, the scene he's setting of four travellers resting at a similar site and being ambushed is enough to set her on edge, goosebumps rising on the skin of her arms and neck, and a creeping feeling like something is going to leap out from the darkness around her at any moment!

...Or maybe that something is just Dark Shadow. ]

[ She's both enraptured by the tale and scared to ask for more details. ]

[ Momo frowns. She knows it's in Bakugou's nature to be critical and contrarian, but that doesn't make it feel any better when his negative comments are directed towards her.

But, it does help that she actually has prepared for a scenario like this. ]

Most of the drinks do have sugar, yes, but I brought some unsweetened iced green tea as well.

[ She points to a large orange thermos. She may or may not have color coded it, specifically predicting that Bakugou would like something less sweet to drink. ]

Harried by the assault, Momo does her best to duck and dodge out of the way of her flying attackers.

"This has to be cheating! You bargained with them for an advantage!"

"Nope! I just befriended them!"

These guys are here of their own accord. She is not cheating at all, Momo-chan!

"If you can offer them something, they may turn on me, though, haha."

It does. I like that aspect of it, really. I mean, the magic and swords, and things are all really neat.

[No denying that. It wasn't home, but it had a lot of the comforts of home.]

...I also want to learn more. And...I think most of the others do too.

Ochako flails and flouders inside her water bubble, holding her breath, but lets out all her air when she's suddenly flung back into the water with a big ol' ker-sploosh. At the least, when she does come back up for air, coughing and hacking, she's also laughing and floating on her back...eyes closed and a smile on her face.

Yeah, he's a jerk and an asshole, but Ochako wouldn't trade him for anything.]

Jump!! Bakugou-kun, jump!

[Ochako nods, then sighs a little bit. It's sort of a relief that others feel the same way she does in regards to being away. Ochako knows that everyone is, for the most part, safe back home, but also...they're not progressing. Not growing. They're stuck in a frozen timeline of nothingness until everyone sorts of this weird catastrophe that's supposed to happen or whatever the hell.

This place is nice and all, despite it's many dangers, but it's not home. It will never be home. It should never be home. Ochako...doesn't want to grow old here.]

Yeah...you're right. Seeing everyone laughing and smiling like this, right now... [She sighs and sighs up, hugging her knees and fondly looking out at everyone having a good time.] It reminds me why I wanted to be a Hero to begin with. To make sure everyone keeps smiling like this - carefree and happy. I want to be someone that can protect this happiness.

"Ehehe, if those are the rules, then...don't mind if I do!"

With one arm still guarding her face from the splashes, she points the other out toward Tsuyu, and the pads of her fingers start to glow, the soft pink light that Tsuyu might be familiar with, actually. It's normally the same glow that happens when Ochako activates her quirk, but this time around, it manifests as her kinetic magic. The floaty feeling will her her Froggy friend all of a sudden, and Tsu will begin to lift up and out of the water a foot or two...

Before she's tossed right back in! Get dunked!!

[No pointing fingers, not necessarily, but it sure did solidify Ochako's dislike of Toga's quirk...or just fakes and doubles in general. Not that it makes much of a difference in this world, where said quirk is no longer available to the girl. Still, that sore spot is not going to be hard to ignore for a while yet, and maybe this is an...attempt to bridge the gap.

A really poor attempt, given Ochako is making ugly faces worse than some of Bakugou's right now, but it is. An attempt. At understanding, at the very least, because Toga is quite the enigmatic character to Ochako. She doesn't get her, at all, and everything about her just seems so backwards.]

Ally? In what way? [Oh, that's rich. Like none of what she's done hasn't been as an enemy. Ochako's brow is raised right up to her hairline as she regards the blonde girl beside her, then sighs and closes her eyes, leaning back herself. Of course she asked. She wants to know where Ochako stands in the timeline. Scoping her out. Gathering intel.] ...Winter break. My work study with my friends under a strong Pro Hero.

[Yup. Just gonna keep it vague. No names, vague date, tiny details. That's all she trusts you with right now, Toga, sorry.]
