⚠️ WARNINGS: Wacky shenanigans, Bakugou's potty mouth, overwhelming cuteness, BATHING SUITS?? Scandalous.


It has been a long month. A long several months for some who may need a bit of R&R and a ton of fun to drive the woes of those last few months away. With the weather growing warmer, the desire to keep cool grew with it...and what better way than with a big splash and a ton of fun?! Getting everyone together to coordinate a Beach Party was...difficult, but doable. Even those outside of Class 1-A were invited to have fun and enjoy themselves down by the sandy shore. Make sure to bring your bathing suits and belongings, this party's going on until the next morning!!


i. Stay Hydrated! (Swimming, water balloon/gun competitions, drowning your rival, etc.)

First thing's first, everyone in the water!! Sunblock up and get your H2O on in the best way possible! Coolers have been set up filled with frosty beverages as well as some, well...ammunition. Of course there's going to be water fights, what did you take this form?! Arm yourselves, Heroes, for a battle has been declared by one or several of your peers! Waterguns have been loaded up for those who wish to partake, and water balloons as well, but the true heavy hitters are those with elemental magic!! Show your stuff in a climactic battle against one another. Who will be the last one standing in this aquatic free for all?! WILL IT BE YOU?!

ii. Nitty Gritty (Sandcastle contest, beach volleyball, sunbathing, looking for shells/tidepools, burying your rival, etc.)

And after people have "cooled off" somewhat, enjoy drying off on the sand. Tanning, sunbathing and getting some color...the sky's the limit! Just beware of any stray volleyballs coming your way, Heroes, the competition is rightfully heating up like the midday sun! Seems nothing stays calm for too long when the raucous youths are having a good time. But, for those wanting a competition that's a little less strenuous, why not try your hand at building the most elaborate and well crafted sandcastle? Magic NOT allowed for this one, folks! Only the manliest of men and the truest of Heroes use their own sweaty palms to build something from nothing. Get to work!

Or, you know...you can just bury yourself or your partner in the and and make them into a parody of beefy muscle form All Might, or a gorgeous mermaid, if that's your thing. I'm not your sensei.

iii. I'M ON FI-YAAH (grilling/BBQ, late night bonfire activities (stories/songs), s'mores, dancing, etc.)

Wow, all that fun sure does work up an appetite! Not to worry, Heroes (and potential party crashers), food will be provided as well! Delicious barbequed meats - skewers, burgers, hotdogs, and even some grilled fish, too!! Get luck and find some clams in the sands? Heck yeah, let's start up a clam bake!1 The night is your oyster...er, clam! There's plenty here for everyone, so don't feel like you're being greedy! And of course, later in the evening when the fire has died down but the embers are still hot, marshmallows will be toasted to make the most fantastically scrumptious s'mores for all the sweets lovers out there. Enjoy a summer treat and share with friends!

But of course, bonfires aren't only there for food! How about some singing, dancing, and music? Or maybe a more...devilish campfire activity? Come up with the most gruesome, the most gory, the most horrifying tale to utterly spook Urara--I meaaan...your fellow friends and students.

iv. You're a Sky Full of Stars (stargazing and camping out on the beach)

At long last, the party is over and the night is calm and quiet. The final dying embers of the fire are but dim specks of red and orange, but the true fire is burning up above. Far from the light pollution of Camelot proper, million of stars dot the velveteen blackness of space in a beautiful portrait of speckled beauty. Keep your eyes up, maybe looking long enough one could see a shooting star. Make a wish, quick!! But don't tell it to anyone...

Then, curl up in the large tents that were brought along for a night of restful sleep. After such a long and fun-filled day, it's certainly needed for all. Just behave yourselves and don't be too loud so as to wake or rouse your neighbors, either.

She is handling things a little better, I believe. She at least does not try to peck at him when he gets too close anymore.

I... am not sure. Perhaps it is a gateway to another pocket dimension, or at least an extraplanar realm of some sort...

[Now he's wondering about it!]

[No, she can't see any of that from where she is under the water, swirling her arms around to form a little 'bubble' of air to help her breathe for at least a minute or two longer than normal. She's looking for his shadow above the waves, but it's hard to judge distance from where she is. Besides, the water is kind of dark - not like a tropical ocean where the water is clear and blue.

Once her air bubble runs out, she doesn't have a choice but to breach the surface for a big gulp of air, and to look for her friend. There's no way he gave up...]

Bakugou?

Well, I think you're doing great!!

[Ochako pumps her fist in the air! She wholeheartedly believes that each and every one of their classmates and friends can and will become wonderful heroes and people. It's just that getting there is going to be difficult. First thing's first is that they all need to get back home.]

Oh, by the way, do you want me to get you two anything? Dark Shadow, you especially! Are you hungry? Or thirsty? [She doesn't know what his physical makeup is in this world. Is he still just a shadow? Can he eat and drink? Sleep?? Poop?]

[Her wholeheartedness is honestly incredibly touching. Ochako may think highly of her classmates, but Tokoyami truly thinks that belief and pureness of heart is definitely needed in heroes. She's not the only one who thinks her classmates can become amazing heroes.]

[Dark Shadow wiggles excitedly.]

I want watermelon!!

[Tokoyami chuckles.]

Watermelon does sound good right now.

Um...we had just done some training exercises with Class 1-B?

I know I'm behind most of you all.

Tsu mirrors the gesture, and gulps down some of her drink.

"Funny, I think there's a lot of us here. Most of us girls, at least."

[She figures that's what he's doing. And him even asking raises her esteem in him.]

And yeah probably something like a wizard I guess. They do stuff like science.

Ah... Our training exercises, I remember that. It was close but we got the victory...!

[So she's farther behind than him. But he shakes his head.]

You're not behind by much, I was curious because it feels like we all have different memories.

Not all of the girls, but most of them. Ochako definitely misses the two still left behind, but it is nice to have at least the other three with her.

"Mm, it's kind of surprising, isn't it? Ehehe, since there's so many boys in the class. I'm glad I have you girls to talk to about certain things - it'd be really weird asking any of the boys that." You know...girl stuff. Makeup, shopping, romance, actual girl stuff, the works.

"Maybe Kirishima-kun, but that's about it..." She giggles, drinking more of her tea, sighing at the cool, refreshing taste.

I believe so. Though, in her defence, Dark Shadow did once try to attack her. I don't think she appreciated that.

But, I cannot simply remove one or the other. We all have to coexist while we are here.

[frogiveness]

It does feel that way. How long ago was that for you?

[Call her curious. Or interested in knowing how much younger she's gotten.]

"Yes. It would be weird asking the boys about a lot of things. Ribbit."

Ochako gets a nod of agreement, because yes, Kirishima actually is weirdly decent to talk to. She's fond of the boys, of course. All of them, even Bakugou (now), but Kirishima just is...himself. In the best possible way.

"...I guess I'd be comfortable talking about some of that with Fumikage-chan too. I mean, he'd just make it dark and foreboding no matter what."

[frogiveness]

True enough. I didn't know all that.

[Whew. She counts herself lucky that her fae friends and Kappa-kun get on well.]

Hard to believe it's been months, isn't it?

[ He's staring at this shadow bird like he's a few worms short of a breakfast. ]

[Izuku smiles, a little softly and sheepishly, but genuinely as he looks back up at the sparkling sky with her. Even if they miss their parents dearly it kind of feels nice to talk about them.]

I think she'd like to meet you too. She's always complaining that I don't bring enough friends around... She'd probably make way too much food.

[He hasn't really brought friends home in a while...]

But that does make sense. It's still weird to think that Earth is somewhere up there so far away but it's there. Waiting for us to come home someday soon.

[Who knew the universe would be so small and so big at the same time.]

[Izuku does snort with a laugh, thinking about Katsuki having too much sugar. It's still amusing him.

He finishes roasting his marshmallow enough to a nice golden again. Then starts to carefully construct this treat for himself...

He looks up.]

Eh? Why is it going to be weird?

[fullgauntlet]

[He might blush at how impressed Tokoyami is! Izuku feels a little cool!!]

Hm! That's right- I thought maybe a little alchemy magic would be okay...! I'll still make most of the structure out of the sand.

[So he'll start scooping and patting to create some starting walls!]

Let's work on building the rest...!

[ Katsuki just ends up looking at him with tired eyes. Looks like even the sugar rush he had received isn't enough to stave off the tired spell completely. ]

Just know someone's gonna struggle sleeping.

[ Him. It's going to be him. ]

[ NOPE! NO GIVING UP HERE.

But Ochako popping out of the water? Yeah that's only going to help Bakugou out. Means she can be totally sucked up into that waterspout! ]

[floatsaway]

[And perhaps it's that faith and believe in each other that really drives the class to move forward to vigorously as they do. The love, care, and support they all have for one another is tangible, felt all throughout each member of Class 1-A.

Ochako laughs at Dark Shadow's exclamation and scoots forward to sit up at last, stretching a bit and shielding her eyes from the harsh sun. Some watermelon does sound really good, and she's sure someone brought a few to partake in, and to smash, of course. No good beach episode is complete without watermelon smashing!]

I'll go get some, hold on!! I think someone brought a few along, and some cool watermelon does sound really tasty... [Fruit in general, especially chilled, just sounds heavenly.] I'll get you both a big ol' piece, okay?! Be right back!

[And off she goes, returning in maybe ten oe so minutes holding three chunky watermelon wedges in hand - one each for the boys, and one for herself.]

[fullgauntlet]

[He almost has the gooey chocolate treat to his lips when Katsuki explains and he stops there with it sticking to his bottom lip.

... Ahhh.]

I- ... I mean. It might be a little difficult for both of us to sleep.

[He glances down. Then starts to nibble on his treat.]

Shit... It's been how long now? Months?

[ Not that Katsuki wants to openly discuss it, mind. It's just his tired brain putting thoughts and different facts together. ]

Maybe I should just leave.

[ And try to get a jumpstart on that sleeping after all. ]

[fullgauntlet]

[It's not like he wants to discuss it much out loud either... But it does make him reflect for a moment. It's been a long time now. Since that night in the snow stuck in South Sister and then when it all started here...

Izuku still looks down. His free hand drifting over to rest on the spot between them.]

It's ... yeah. If you want to, Kacchan.

[He won't try to stall the boy to stick around longer anymore. When he knows no one is looking... His fingers quickly brush the back of Katsuki's hand in a gentle touch before he takes his hand back.]
