[For many Mondstadtans, experiencing such hot weather was a true rarity, the region almost eternally blessed with fair temperatures year round. On the occasion they couldn't beat the heat, there was only one solution to the problem.

BEACH VACATION!

Rounding up their friends from Liyue as well (Childe can come too I guess), it was time for the Teyvatans to enjoy a day on the beach. There was food and drinks, watermelons to smash, plenty of water guns and beachballs and a host of other beach toys to play with, and of course, plenty of water.

[Look, his dads told him no drinking until he's older, so he listens! His dads are the epitome of wisdom in his book.]

If that's the case, then I'm definitely not old enough, because I don't feel like I'm very wise or mature.

[For a moment, he almost seems to consider Venti's proposition.

But then he shakes his head dismissively.]

--No, no way. My dads told me I shouldn't start drinking until I'm older, after I've gotten some real adventures under my belt worth celebrating.

[Venti lets out a dramatic little sigh... And he lets go of the poor boy too.]

With all the adventurers I'm sure you've been through by now? You don't think you deserve a reward or two?

Adventures are their own reward!

[He gives Venti a thumbs up. He says that so sincerely even though most people might think it were a joke.]

Hmm. That's ... I suppose.

[He sips his drink. Siiip.]

But, if you could ask for any sort of reward? What would you ask for?

[Any sort of reward? Well, that's an interesting idea.]

Anything? Even if what it was could only be called a miracle?

[Because he knows what he'd ask for in that case...]

Hmmhm! Let's perchance to dream. There's no harm in that, right?

[He wants to hear what is in Bennett's heart!]

[There's a pause. Will he really lay bare what's in his heart to Venti?

...Of course he will.]

What I'd really want is for my dads to be back in the prime of their youth, even if it was just for a day. Then we could all go on the most epic adventure ever, together!

[Venti smiles softly. For a moment he thinks on that sort of wish. Unfortunately, not even an archon has the power to turn back the tides of time and age. But if he could, he would grant that for Bennett. Even for a day.

Bennett truly is a good boy. tm.]

A wonderful wish! An epic adventure that would be. With a son like you at their side I'm sure that no matter their age, they feel at their prime. And if not, you'll be there to support them, won't you.

[He sips his drink.]

I suppose I can honour their wish and finish this drink on my own! Ehe!

[Venti's words do a lot to touch Bennett's heart. ...Not that that's particularly hard to do, sensitive boy that he is, but it still has an effect on him.]

Mmm. My dads did so much for me, even though they didn't need to. So of course I'll do anything I can to show how much I appreciate them.

Haha. [He sees what Venti's trying to do there. But luckily, he agrees.]

My luck's usually pretty terrible, but it really came through for me when it came to giving me such a great family.
