⚠️ WARNINGS:

[Archer is not entirely sure how he ended up living with Rin and Saber, but one day he just found himself staying there completely. Not that he minds living with them, it just happened to casually. Archer is pretty sure it was Rin's plan all along.

The day had been pretty calm so far and Archer was enjoying his time reading something. Something he did very rarely, but he had found a rather interesting book on weapon history. He may no longer have his magic, but weapons did still interest him... and it was nice to look them up in case he did get his magic back.]

[Of course it was Rin's plan all along! Make him spend more and more time there and then he moves in instead of leaving... Perfect way to get all that time with him, while they're all here and she can still see him. Or maybe it's more like see him again, all of this world traveling thing makes its own twist into it because he'd been in Lunatia even before she arrived but he had disappeared months before Rin eventually left that city too. And then she also went home between that world and this world and he'd been there too.

And then there's that one saying about making the most of your time with everyone because some day they'll disappear and it's too late. Stupid saying considering Rin is the type to take her time with everyone to make sure they stay around before she trusts them, when she's so used to losing people all around her and it's easier to just be alone... Not more fun, definitely not, but a lot easier than any other options, when she's also used to being alone. Besides this whole world hopping thing is stupid with a lot of people going back to their home world all the time even if they'd want to stay around here.

Right, not the time to think about stupid sentimental shit, when she has other things to do. She hasn't been alone here, so that's been really, really great and keeping them both in the same apartment with her is so much better than any other options... Archer is still here and he's ~~hopefully~~ completely unaware that another one of Rin's plans is about to hit him!!

Tohsaka peeks into the room, pulls away from sight to take a quiet, deep breath before she walks to Archer. She grabs the book as soon as she gets there and pulls it away from him without magic - though she can use magic if he'll try to keep it.]

[Uhm, rude. Archer looks up at Rin with an eyebrow raised.]

I was reading that.

[He could ask her what she's planning now, but she wouldn't give him a straight answer so he doesn't bother.]

[Look who's talking about not giving straight answers... Guess they're both twisted idiots, who do that.]

I know that.

[Rin smiles at Archer. Considering all of their history together that seems to be one of the best weapons against him from her and at least she has a really cute smile. Sorry, she's not here to talk. Rin's doing whatever she wants to do. ~~So, what else is new? It's just Tuesday then.~~

She's leaning closer but she could be just teasing??]

[Now he should really, really ask what she's doing. Or he could be a jerk about it. It's also rather hard to back away when you're sitting on a couch. Not that she wants to, that smile is very cute and ... he admittedly does have feelings, but he will never admit them.]

Did someone hit you with another arrow? Cause I can lock you in a room again.

[Oh, of course he'll never admit them but it's totally fine, stupid idiot boys are her type!! Though little does he know that this isn't about feelings, this is purely just revenge. ~~Keep telling that to yourself, Rin!!~~]

I don't need those to do this. And that's not going to happen.

[To do... What? He'll find out very soon because Rin's leaning even closer, close enough to press her lips on his and kiss him without any hesitation at all.

Umm. If this is supposed to be a small, soft and fast kiss, well, apparently she's too greedy for that and he'll get a few kisses from her. Unless he pushes her away or stops her in some other way but that'd be rude. :C]

[If he had to make a guess it would have either been a kiss or a slap on the face after making it seem like she's gonna kiss him.

To be honest, he was really expecting a slap and not actually a... kiss.

A lot of questions race in his mind. Namely about Saber and Rin being an item and what was going on in Rin's head to kiss him of all people. He may be Shirou from the far future but he's not Shirou at the same time. He's not part of the holy trinity of what they have!

But... at the same time he doesn't really want to push her away either? Which is why he's awkwardly answering the kiss. Really awkwardly, because do you know how many hundreds of years it has been since he kissed someone?]

[ Of course, a lot of things were Rin's plans, weren't they? As was this whole situation, in which Saber stood out of sight waiting for the 'moment' and trying to make sure she doesn't look stiff during this whole thing.

Of course, Archer isn't the same Shirou that summoned her back in the grail war. You'd think that would change something, but... not a lot really changed for Saber at least after she was given time to consider those feelings. She was alright with this kind of relationship... but indeed, this was a good way to get back at him for the Cupid Arrow debacle. So, seeing as how this was her 'queue'... ]

AHHH!!

[ ...okay so maybe she turned up the dramatics a bit more than her usual composure but it's fine. Here she is, suddenly in the room looking 'outraged' and pointing at the two. ]

[Why would she slap him? Rin doesn't think she has a reason to slap him. Does Archer want to remind her of a reason to do that? Nah, this is way more fun than that.

She's not expecting for Archer to return it though. Not really. S-Sure, sure, the possibility is there and all and it could be more surprising than it already is too-- Of course he's not Shirou, not really, but Rin is a greedy vixen and that's also the whole point; he's not Shirou and that's also a good thing. Is cheating? Is she cheating Shirou?? Yeah but this is just a revenge thing, nothing serious about this. ~~YET~~. Or that's what she keeps telling herself. It's not the first time for Rin to kiss with him, even if she doesn't think back to Lunatia that much especially not about them. Whatever happened between her and Archer there stays between them and it happened a loooong time ago, this is different.

But since he's not pushing her away and he's even returning it in his own way, Rin stays there and she's not even awkward about it at all.

She doesn't stop until Saber walks in and Rin looks surprised at first. Is this where people caught in the act would say this is not what it looks like??? That's stupid. Someone might think she's cheating on her but no, plans are plans and revenges are some of the best plans.

Rin is quickly taking one step back, now when that kiss is over.]

What? You two can kiss too.

[... Funny how it's all part of her plans with Saber but if anyone thinks Rin isn't so greedy, that she wouldn't say it outside of those plans too, well, they may have some things to learn about her.]

[Archer's pretty sure Rin would come up with a reason. Old or new. Maybe a very delayed response to cupid thing (hahaha... yeah well, news for you this is about the cupid but not like that).

Archer's eyes widens when he hears Saber's voice and once Rin is off he looks at her with the same wide eyes.]

Saber, this isn't-

["What it looks like", but what is it then? Rin came over and kissed him. And now she's even saying Saber can kiss him. Clearly this is-

Wait what.]

Huh?

[ Saber puffs up her cheeks, though she honestly can't stop them from turning red. Believe her, she tried... though there's really not much she could do there in the first place. ]

H-Hmph! In that case!

[ She walks over (admittedly a little stiffly), puts her hands on Archer's cheeks, turns his head to face her, ~~channels what she thinks RIn would do,~~ and kisses him next. ]

[Things Archer didn't expect: to be kissed by Saber. He had been so confused about Rin's comment he hadn't prepared for anything. Though could he have prepared for something he didn't guess would happen? No. Absolutely not.

He doesn't really push Saber away either, since again, feelings that he keeps under a lid. Though he does back away a bit once he gets the opportunity to do so. And he's red all over his face and ears.]

What the hell is up with you two today?

[This could be a moment for Rin to get jealous of one or both of them, but that's not happening ~~too much~~ since this is all part of her plan and everything is going flawlessly... It helps that their kiss is over soon, so Tohsaka doesn't even have much time to think about it.

Excellent performance, Saber! Rin smiles at her with a cute smile before she turns to look at Archer with the widest smile on her face.

What's the matter with the red face, Archer? Hoping you could dematerialize to hide and never show up again?]

[Revenge when he least expects it! More like that's what he gets for playing Cupid with the Devil.]

[ Don't worry Archer, Saber's face is red as well. Still, she nods along with what Rin says. ]

Exactly! Your reckoning was set in stone Archer. Escape was never possible.

[ Learn to live with the inability to dematerialize when it would be really helpful, Archer. Saber's been doing it since, well, ever. ]

[Archer is still flustered, but hearing the reason they both did this calms him down... and bit too much. Not that it shows on his face, he's a master at hiding his feelings when he really wants to. Right now? He really wants to hide it.

He definitely deserved it, he's not even going to argue with that. But he also kinda hoped for something else, not even so deep inside so he's kind of disappointed? It's complicated. Very complicated.

... now he kind of regrets answering any kisses and showing he might have something for them. Crap.

Dematerializing would really be great though.]

Have you been planning this ever since then? Because congratulations, you completely caught me off guard.

No, of course not. If we'd been planning this ever since that day, this would have happened sooner. And good, then that part worked just as well as it was supposed to.

[Revenging it somehow was always the plan but this idea's kind of new. And it's definitely not why Archer is living here; Rin honestly wants to spend a lot more time with him here, where it's still possible and they don't need to live in different locations.

This doesn't have to be disappointing or complicated at all. There is a very simple solution to this whole thing now! Rin looks at Archer, then she looks at Saber, then back at Archer, then Saber again.]

But now when that part's done, it doesn't have to be just that.

[No more revenge but... Welcome to Rin Tohsaka's genius ~~or greedy~~ twists.]

[ This has already been discussed with Saber, and after some good thought was put into it... she was alright with this. Though she had some reservations considering the last relationship she was involved in (see the entire debacle that was Guinevere and Lancelot's relationship), back then she... didn't really think about love, or her feelings at the time.

So... things were different here. There's not much Saber can add to this, since Rin's put it better than she could... so she tries to put her usual neutral expression back up. It works! Kind of, at least. Her face is still flushed red. ]

[Archer stares at Rin after yet another twist. Then he looks at Saber who is still blushing, but looking more neutral. What...

He wants to believe it, but instead he decides to believe the worst because he is such an optimist.]

Don't joke about something like that. For this to be anything more than what it was, that would require feelings... and surely you both love someone else...

[Really, Archer?! Seriously, Rin should have expected that a lot more than she did but okay, he wants to talk about loving more than one person at the same time??? Cold way of trying to push Rin Tohsaka away but it's not going to work at all. Archer, honey, that's just asking Rin to call you out on that when she's been trying to figure out how these timelines work.]

I don't want to hear that from someone, who still has so many feelings for at least three different girls, that he wouldn't know what to do if all of them showed up in front of him to tell him to choose only one of them!

[Assuming closing the door/walking away and not giving any answers wouldn't be an option, of course. Stupid self-loathing idiot and his stupid hypocrite logics with some things and amazing optimistic mind with everything!!

Is she going to have to talk about her feelings now??? Yeah, that's the less easy part after everything before this and Rin's face is going red before she even says anything. Goddammit, how do people talk about this stuff?? Like literally talk about these things with words??? She could speak with actions, that's her usual style, but she'll do that a little later. Please, try to leave from having to deal with human emotions, Archer, she will STOP you.]

So... So for the record, if our last meeting back home and many things during our time here haven't made it clear, it's not just one-sided.

[And he better believe it!! ...That's not even close to "what would Shirou say if he was telling ~~a stupid idiot, who always tries to push people away from herself~~ Rin about his feelings" but ... baby steps and so on. But he better not think that he's the only one, who is in love with ~~at least~~ three. Hell, Rin is in love with / at least has (had) feelings for even more than three people after her time in Lunatia along with going back home between this and here.

[Mentioning his feelings for all the different girls. It's not his fault the women in his life are freaking amazing! Archer blush is ever-returning and permanent at this point.

Even more so with what Rin says next. He does remember their last meeting clearly... and the feelings he had when leaving her behind to be with the past version of himself and just... wanting to actually stay himself, really. But he had made his choice, back then.]

[ Saber is still flushed, but... yes, she did. She hadn't expected it to flourish, however, until Rin had brought this up... and if it made Rin (and herself) happy, then...
