[Robyn just smiles. Even if Klee hasn't noticed that she had to catch her breath, she doesn't really mind. She'd just hate to think what would happen if her first real attempt at healing someone hadn't worked.]

What kind of magic do you have? I also have animal magic.

I bet you could do lots of cool stuff when you get more practice! You're so lucky... [ imagine, being able to go out adventuring and not have to worry about bruises or scrapes! that's Klee's dream. ] I dunno, but I can make things crackle and spark and blow up! Wanna see?

[ it's elemental, but she was never actually told that it had a name... or she was told and she forgot. it's hard to tell, but it's similar to what she could do back home, anyway! as for her second type, that's still a mystery to her.

she'd be happy to demonstrate, though they'd probably have to move away from the river. other people are rock-hunting, after all - no amount of fun magic is worth hurting people by accident! ]

Er...maybe you can show me later.

[Robyn isn't sure she wants to see things blow up right now, especially when she only just patched Klee up. And also because she's remembered why she came to the river in the first place.]

Are you lookin' for one of those holo rocks that person on the Questboard asked for? That's why I'm here, so we can look for them together if you like.

[ not reading Robyn's hesitance in the least, she'll gladly take a rain check on showing her explosive power - as long as she gets to show it off someday, it's fine with her!

it's probably better that it works out like that anyway, because it reminds her of what was supposed to be the task at hand. ]

Oh yeah... I was! The shiny rocks in the river! [ she nods, re-adjusting the shoulder straps on her backpack. ] Yeah! We can collect a whole bunch and bring them back and get extra rewards! And maybe we can even take some home with us!

[ that's definitely not how it works... but at least she has spirit? ]

I don't think we need to bring them that many. [Though it might be nice to keep some for themselves, even if their power doesn't last long.]

Oh! I'm Robyn, by the way.

We should try, though. I know they asked for just one, but imagine how happy they'd be if we brought lots?

[ the logic is sound to her, though she's not sure how many rocks she can fit into her backpack. trying to bring at least two or three each sounds like a happy medium, if anything. ]

My name is Klee; nice to meet you! [ and, remembering her manners, ] Thanks again for making my knee feel better.

You're welcome. I'm just glad me healin' worked.

[Now that Klee's injury has been dealt with, Robyn has time to take in where they are. She looks up and down the length of the river.]

So, where should we start lookin'?

You shouldn't worry! I think it worked great.

[ while things might not have been as smooth if her wound were more than a scrape, Klee isn't thinking too much about it. as far as she's concerned, Robyn is the best healer she knows! ]

I saw some rocks over there before I fell - I'll show you! [ excitedly, she takes Robyn's hand in hers to tug her forward and lead her to the spot. she almost trips again as she does, but makes sure to be more careful with her footing on the more slippery parts of the riverbank as they make their way to the deposit. sure enough, there are plenty of shimmering stones left over for them to take. ]

[Robyn lets Klee lead the way, though she just hopes the younger girl won't trip again in excitement. Once she sees the holographic rocks, though, she doesn't have to worry any further.]

They're so pretty...no wonder that lady wants to see them one more time.

[That makes her remember that the shine from these stones isn't permanent.] We'd better take some back before the magic wears off.
