[ Extermination tasks are easy to Razor. He thinks they're straightforward and there's no way that he can misunderstand words that are said to him when it's explained. The goal is to get rid of the problem. They've done a lot of quests together, it seems like, and that's exactly what Razor prefers - quests with Bennett. Because not only is he a good friend, but they work well together and understand each other.

Razor doesn't have to talk a lot for Bennett to get it.

So, as they make their way towards the edge of the water, where they know the task starts, he says: ]

After quest. Fish?

[Extermination tasks for easy for Bennett too. They had the lowest probability of something going wrong for him, just go in, beat up the monsters, and go about your day. No worries about traps or freak accidents or fake treasure or any of them.

At the shore, Bennett's reaching into his bag and pulling out the potion of Underwater Breathing they were given for this task. They only had one, so they had to come up with a plan for how they were going to use it.]

Fishing? Sure, if we aren't sick of the water after this. [He says that with a chuckle in his voice. Yeah, he'd totally go fishing with Razor after this, but he knew better than to pretend that this was going to be a simple straightforward quest.

It never is for him.]

Won't be.

[ He sounds pretty sure of himself when it comes to that. He kneels down near the edge of the water, looking out into it because he's checking out the lay of the land. He puts his fingers in the water to see how it feels. It's cool, but not freezing cold. Just what you'd expect on a warmer spring day.

He looks up at Bennett. ]

Bennett should use potion. In case.

[ In case he ran into bad luck and got caught. He doesn't know if it'll work if they split it. Or how long. Potions are sort of -- confusing for him. ]

Huh? No, no, you should use the potion. [Bennett's pushing that potion in Razor's direction.]

I'm sure my luck would make something go wrong if I use it anyway.

Have animal magic.

[ He brings his hands to his chest confidently. ]

Can be fish or something if need to. Bennett need in case.

[ The transformation practice has been going...alright, really. He can do a full animal fairly easily. But the partial animal is almost there. ]

Ah, that's right, I totally forgot you can do stuff like that!

[He's so used to people having elemental magic or healing magic that he forgets about the other types of magic.]

Well... alright, if you insist.

[ He echoes it back to him. He shifts, pulling his sword off of his back so that he has it on hand, ready to go. Picking them off should be pretty easy, right? He thinks so. ]

Will stay safe. Both of us.

[ He looks out to the ocean. ]

Won't be too hard.

Okay, down the hatch! [Bennett presses the bottle to his lips and tilts his head back, downing the contents in one swig. Then he makes a face about it.]

Blegh... Bitter.

[He sure hopes this doesn't upset his tummy while they're in there. That would be Bad.]

Let's get this show on the road, then. I don't think this potion's gonna wait for me to get in the water to start counting down.

It won't. Let's fight.

[ That's the part he's excited for, to be honest. Plus he might just impulsively catch some fish while he's in the water. He's already making a break for it and heading right into the water without a moment of hesitation.

Yeah. He loves water. ]

[Bennett takes a deep breath, already trying to brace himself for how his luck could possibly turn sour here. And then he dives right in after Razor.

After the initial shock of the cold water hitting his skin, he immediately notices he can breathe, and even talk underwater. This potion was legit!]

It's working! Lead the way, Razor, let's show 'em what we can do!
