If there is a place that I would say that I operate from? I would say that it is the Wangshu Inn. It is a fairly common stop for merchants traveling between Mondstadt and Liyue Harbor.

[Bennett scratches his head. He'd never been to the inn, having never really ventured outside the plains of Mondstadt, aside from the odd foray into Dragonspine. But even he was familiar with Wangshu Inn and the unique role it played as the midway point between Mondstadt and Liyue Harbor. If Xiao lives there, then he must really see a lot of people...]

Maybe I'm the one who doesn't know much about people then.

[ Well Xiao has not been outside of Liyue. Not that he couldn't leave, of course. He very well could for a short foray into Mondstadt. There is a being there that would welcome him with open arms and likely wine, but... ]
