[Jade’s last trip to the Silent Shore had been on the way to see the Archivist shortly after her own arrival. The skirmish with the orc raiders at the time had kept her from being able to appreciate either the scenery or the fact that there was a community of naga nearby, but the call for help and a request for extermination had certainly caught her attention. She’s grateful that this time, they’re just near enough to the edge of the Shore that talking is possible, though it would be easy to miss if one weren’t listening carefully. It makes sense that the victims are unable to scream when hushed tones are forced by the environment, and her chest feels tight as she thinks of all those victims who had been slowly, painfully preyed on by the nudibranchs without being able to call for help.
Extermination it is.
She exhales, propping the end of her spear against the sand beside her and offering the flask of underwater breathing potion to her questing companion.]
After you— if you’re ready, that is?
ii. a stone’s throw from revenge
[Is it really so much to ask, to be allowed to sit and enjoy a quiet afternoon in a café with a book and a plate of biscuits? Apparently so, if the boulder that comes sailing through the front window of said café is to be believed, and for a moment, Jade finds herself stunned as it lands just past her table and skids across the floor, slamming into the opposite wall and leaving debris and wreckage in its wake. The vibrations are enough to send her tea and the book she had been reading flying in different directions, and while the source of the attack is certainly a concern, her immediate reaction is to spring to her feet and quickly survey the damage, looking for any sign of anyone who may have been struck or knocked aside by the the assault.]
Is everyone okay?!
[She’ll gladly assist anyone who may have need of it, but once that’s through, she’ll turn towards the gaping hole in the wall and curl her fingers into tight fists at her side.]
Take cover, just in case another follows— I’m going out there!
[Seems like a waste of time to use the door at this point, so she deftly clears the rubble and heads outside to investigate, her duster trailing behind her, and emerges just in time to see another boulder go sailing overhead, past the café and crashing through the roof of a shop two doors down. Scowling, she looks towards the source, which immediately becomes apparent.
Ah. That’s one big Minotaur.]
Somehow, I get the feeling that negotiating is right out.
[Fine with her— she’ll immediately take off in the Minotaur’s direction, and will gladly join forces with anyone else who intends to take it on. The “how” of it is still unclear, even en route, but one thing is certain: it needs to be stopped before someone is killed, if they haven’t been already. The property damage is bad enough, but there’s far more at stake here.]
iii. wildcard
[Obligatory wildcard option! If one of the above doesn’t work for you, feel free to approach one of those prompts from another angle or leave your own starter, or hit me up if you want to work something out together.]

As for her plan?]
Hit it.
[She answers him as she breaks into a run, before figuring she ought to elaborate.]
Hard.
[Specific.]
no subject
[He gives her a thumbs up, as he chases after her. Most of Bennett's fight plans boil down to "beat it up before it beats you up" so Jade's plan jives with him.]
no subject
She covers ground quickly, leaving the broken front windows of the café far behind her.]
Glad to know you're onboard! Split up and come at it from both sides— and watch out for more rocks!
[Speaking of, here comes another one.]
