[In return Venti puts a finger to his lips. Shhh, good boy.]

Just a moment. I'm collecting us our breakfast.

[He winks before legit just stuffing like four freshly-baked muffins into the folds of his cape.]

Stealing.

[ Look what he's learned since your last conversation. You can bet he's been busted at least once for this, and he's not going to do it again. His eyes are solidly locked onto Venti. ]

Taking bad.

[What's this?? Venti pauses, a hand on his hip.]

And who might have told you that, dear Razor?

Baker.

[ He answers immediately. He doesn't clarify which one it was, though it was not the one who works here. It was certainly a different bakery with a lot of different desserts. ]

[What a good boy...]

Ehe... It's just a little fun, you shouldn't think too hard about it.

How fun? Get in trouble.

[ Clearly not that much trouble. But he doesn't like upsetting people so he's willingly not tattling on Venti, either. ]

[Goodness. How wholesome. Even Venti struggles to deny this.]

... You know, there is a little risk for the reward at times. And that makes life interesting, don't you think?

Alright, today we'll use our coins to pay for our breakfast.

Good. I buy.

[ He's offering. He's made money from quests to selling meat and pelts in the city for use. He's been able to do alright doing what he does best. And doing what he likes to do. Well enough that he finds his bag with his money and reaches in to pay for them. ]

[Well now, Venti isn't going to refuse a free muffin. Does he feel bad for spending Razor's hard-earned money? Not really. It's just a few muffins, anyway.]

Thank you, Razor. That's very kind of you, ehe. What have you been up to that you've made enough to treat a friend to breakfast, lately?

Hunt. Sell meat and fur.

[ It pays pretty well... especially since he doesn't really spend money on things. But he likes to help, and if they give him money for help he'll take it. Plus sometimes these places give him an extra when he pays so it's worth it, right?

When the vendor appears, Razor hands him money and gets a muffin for himself. ]

I see, somehow I'm not surprised.

[Hunting, meat and furs... Ew. But good for the boy to be learning these things, he supposes.]

And has anyone been helping you?

No. Don't need.

[ While he has figured out what he needs to in order to live pretty freely here, he doesn't necessarily need help. But... he doesn't do everything alone, either. ]

Quests with Bennett.

[ All the time. It's like his favorite activity. ]

That's wonderful, Razor. Would you consider him your best friend?

[ He's never really thought about it. Why would he? ]
