This guy, this guy whose best friend he nearly got killed, brought him food. He seems happy. Overjoyed. Like nothing even happened.

This same guy was dating this best friend.

This same guy is the one Doppo's having some kind of romantic crisis over now.

And what's most baffling... this guy is nothing like Doppo.

This guy is just like Sasara.

Rosho cradles the tupperware container to his chest with one hand while the other rubs at his head in confusion. ]

[ Why is this happening??? Rosho honestly likes the idea of taking a nap just so he doesn't have to deal with the reality of meeting another person that's just like Sasara. But bafflement aside, this is still a really weird turn of events, and he can't just let Hifumi off the hook like this. ]

[With Hifumi dragged into the room, he looks at Rosho curiously. Hmm, what kinda stuff did Rosho want to talk about, he wonders.]

[ Rosho closes the door behind them, and first thing's first, the tupperware needs to be put down somewhere so it's not in the way. Rosho puts it down on a table, but wastes no time to move back to Hifumi. His expression is no longer irritated, he's far more somber now. ]

I don't know how honest you're being with me, so...

[ Instead of starting an argument with no point he'd rather get this off his chest. Removing his glasses and then hands in his lap, Rosho bows as low as he can manage. ]

I'm sincerely sorry for what happened to Doppo. I have no excuses to give, and I don't have any expectation to be forgiven. I just want you to know I accept full responsibility. Whatever you want to do from this point onward, I have no objection.

[Hifumi stares at Rosho. His actions may not make him seem appreciative of his forgiveness, but he really, truly is. He's also not quite sure how to properly express that he's not angry, nor does he hold any grudges against Rosho.]

Well... it's not like Doppo hates now you or anything, so it's all good! If he did then I would have to suuuuper hate you after this!

[Hifumi points to his head.]

Maybe you're thinking he does but he totally doesn't, so don't worry!

[ There's a reflexive flinch at the word "hate" but Rosho comes to realize it's not intended to mean anything. In fact, all his worry and fretting essentially amounts to... nothing. Because even if he doesn't know Hifumi well, he understands that what he's saying is the truth.

These two people are very easy to understand.

They're... strangely similar, aren't they? No wonder Doppo was so agonized about his feelings. Someone this honest and sincere, not wanting to lose a friendship like this... he remembers what that was like. ]

You're sure? That... Doppo won't hate me, and that things'll be okay...?

I mean, I'm not a psychic or anything, but I think everything will be okay, yeah!

[Hifumi gives him a great, big smile! Also pats Rosho on the shoulder roughly again... He can't help it!!]

[ Hifumi's so touchy, it's kind of freaking him out, how similar he is to Sasara. No wonder he's having a hard time with this meeting, there's so much deja-vu going on... but what matters the most is Hifumi's being honest. Weird, but honest, and hearing him talk about Doppo like that ("my Doppochin??" Don't say things like that in front of people!!) makes him realize that... yeah, Hifumi must really be happy to have Doppo around.

They're good for each other. ]

There are things about Doppo that remind me of me, so... I promise I'll treat him well. [ There's more things he wants to say in regards to what Doppo told him about Hifumi, their feelings and such, but that's not exactly any of his business. He'll set that aside. ]
