[Oy, that was rough. It feels a bit funny to say so when Rei wasn't the one in danger of nearly bleeding out, but hey. Physically carting both Rosho and Doppo to Jakurai-- and occasionally bugging Doppo awake to give him directions-- was a lot of work.

Anyway, they're both safe now. He gave Jakurai all the injury specifics, and the adrenaline of the life or death situation was wearing off, and Rei's just... fucking tired, now. He's always hated hospitals, and while this isn't exactly that... well. It's still not pleasant.

While waiting for Rosho to recover enough to be carried back home, Rei steps outside for a smoke. He stares out across the middle distance, seeing but not really seeing, cigarette held loosely to his lips and expression far away.]

[He will be getting a text a little while later. ]

[Scrolling up through their previous text history makes Rei laugh. What a turn around from "if you mean to cause harm to me and mine"...........]

[Rei drops him the live house's location. Whenever Jakurai arrives, Rei will be there, and lets him into the office for more privacy than the cafe section allows.]

I'd hoped our first meeting in person would be in better circumstances... but I guess it can't be helped, heh.

Please let Rosho-san know that he need feel no guilt for whatever happened. I am certain from Doppo’s explanation that what happened could not have been helped.

[This was a wild ride. Ramuda really hadn't expected this or seeing Rei here of all places...though the stab wounds were a little more of a shock. So while Jakurai and company was busy Ramuda saw Rei step out and followed.

Outside with his own cigarette he looks at Rei and his far off look.]

Something like that. [the surprise of seeing his unwilling ward here of all places brings Rei back to the land of the living enough to respond, though it takes him a moment to catch up.] I keep running into that Kannonzaka fellow at his lowest, seems like.
