Food

[It doesn't take too long for Archer to get cooking again. Funny how the need to eat (or at least the feeling of needing to eat) inspired you. He wasn't sure how much of him was still a counter guardian and how much wasn't, but he might as well enjoy making and eating food now that he had time for it.

Currently, Archer is in the common kitchen provided for them at the inn they were living in for free. His dish of the day was Sukiyaki - with some edits, considering not everything could be found from the place. There are also some rice balls.

He's made a bit too much food. Mostly because he likes cooking for others too (even if he'd never admit to it nowadays) but also for later meals too if not everything is eaten.

Either way, since it's a common kitchen, he is free to pestering.]


Snowball fight

[Archer sees what's going on outside and quickly decides to change his direction. He's not about to enter a snowball fight. The two girls in his life are way too competitive and he'd be stuck there all day fighting them. Worse, they might even team up against him.

So excuse him while he walks away from the glittering rainbow snow.]

She looked up, startled.

"Oh. This isn't for sales...." Her eyes widened and she flushed. "I'm sorry!" she said bowing swiftly. "I thought you were cooking for the inn. I didn't mean to intrude!" she was bowing again, beat red.

Oh. Archer looked a bit awkward, but not too embarrassed. Mostly stoic.

"It's fine. You don't have to apologize... but you can stay, help and eat if you want." Since she already started anyway.

"Sure. Alright," she said, hurrying to get back to work. "I'm sorry, back where I live I help out with the restaurant downstairs all the time."

"It's fine. Don't worry about it." He can understand the mix up. It is a kitchen downstairs, after all. "I'm making too much anyway."

"Well leftovers make wonderful lunch boxes," she said, cheerfully. She flashed him a thumbs up and got back to work.

"I did intend on cooking so there are meals for several days to come. Saves the trouble of cooking all the time."

She nodded. "Though you may want to label it in the fridge so people know it is yours."

"I should. Though even if a few of the meals are lost to others, I wouldn't really mind that either." Since at least they'd go to people who were obviously hungry enough to steal.

She worked food service with a communal break room area. Sometimes people swiped food because they were too lazy, not desperately hungry.

"Alright then," she said with a bright smile. His food, his choice. Her food would be labeled. She wondered if she should try to figure out how to put a curse on hers in general, but she just couldn't generate enough hate over leftovers for something like that.

It's the inner hero complex poking its head to surface that Archer would like to smother, really.

"Alright. I think I'm finished. Want to taste the sauce?"

"Sure!" she said, grabbing a fresh spoon. She took some in the spoon carefully and neatly and stepped back so she could blow on it without spitting in the food, then she gave it a try.
