Food

[It doesn't take too long for Archer to get cooking again. Funny how the need to eat (or at least the feeling of needing to eat) inspired you. He wasn't sure how much of him was still a counter guardian and how much wasn't, but he might as well enjoy making and eating food now that he had time for it.

Currently, Archer is in the common kitchen provided for them at the inn they were living in for free. His dish of the day was Sukiyaki - with some edits, considering not everything could be found from the place. There are also some rice balls.

He's made a bit too much food. Mostly because he likes cooking for others too (even if he'd never admit to it nowadays) but also for later meals too if not everything is eaten.

Either way, since it's a common kitchen, he is free to pestering.]


Snowball fight

[Archer sees what's going on outside and quickly decides to change his direction. He's not about to enter a snowball fight. The two girls in his life are way too competitive and he'd be stuck there all day fighting them. Worse, they might even team up against him.

So excuse him while he walks away from the glittering rainbow snow.]

[The common area for the inn is a place Jack spends a fair amount of time between jobs around Camelot, and the smell of cooking food has him down here again, investigating. Maybe it's free food. Having to actually budget his coin is a new thing for the prince, and he's learning the joys of "free food" for the first time in his life.

Thus, the sight of all that spread out on one of the tables is a welcome sight.]

Somebody's been busy. What's all this for?

[Archer doesn't really turn to look who the person walking in is, but he does answer while making sure the food he's working on doesn't burn.]

I tend to make a lot of food to store some for later... but you're free to eat some if you want. There's enough to share.

You're clearly doing better at all this than I am if you know how to make this much food.

[But that just means he's grudgingly impressed, and also not turning down the offer. He collects one of the rolls for a bite.]

[Archer really wouldn't have minded it either way. But maybe it's good to get to know to people if they're stuck here for a while.]

An old habit? To cook a lot of food at once?

[Look, Jack's just impressed you know how to cook, period. He's got no clue for anything other than campfire food or sandwiches.]

Well, yes. I had a huge household, once.

[A long, long time ago in a japanese household faraway.]

But I also feel like having meals prepared is easier than just cooking everyday.

I had a huge household once, too, but that's what cooks are for. I can roast something over a fire put, or put together a sandwich, but anything else I'm pretty useless.

[Leads to a lot of spending on prepared food, around here, but he's not really sure how one learns how to cook things. (Or if he'd even be any good at it.]

You must have been from a rich family if you could afford a designated cook.

I suppose I could teach you some basic things if you wanted to.

I was the prince. Good old dad likes to make omelets and steak, but that was the only thing he knew, and he never bothered to teach us or anything.

[He's not about to turn that down, so he finishes off the roll he was working on and drifts closer to look over Archer's shoulder.]
