I Am Not Throwing Away My Shot
🧙 WHO: Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera/Gizmoduck and YOU
⚔️️ WHAT: Catch-all for the month
🕒 WHEN: March
🗺️ WHERE: Throughout Camelot
⚠️ WARNINGS: Probably nothing, but will add if anything comes up
A. I'm Young, Scrappy, and Hungry (Exploring the City)
[ It had taken a shockingly small amount of time for Fenton to adjust to the fact of being pulled into a whole different world; one where the legend of King Arthur and knights was not only real, but also infused with magic and technology blended together to create a city that was somehow modern with the lingering rustic feeling of days of old. Part of him thinks he should maybe be a bit worried about trying to get home, but the whole thing was completely fascinating, and he isn't sure if he's in shock or if he's just worked for Mr. McDuck long enough that strange things just aren't that strange anymore.
The first thing to do, of course, is to get his bearings. After finding the hotel where he could stay for a while (not exactly how he expected to finally start living on his own, but beggars can't be choosers), he takes to the streets to look around the city. Luckily the phone he was provided was easy to figure out, similar to the phones back home (he was just itching to take it apart and see how it worked, and it's only the magitech part of it that really stopped him), and he had found a map app that he was using to help navigate, making notes of possible useful locations on the app compared to their physical position in the world.
He may also be a bit distracted as he studies the map on his phone. He could probably use some help, or at least someone pointing out if he happens to be in the way. ]
B. I Probably Shouldn't Brag, But Dag (Sir Fuzzlerton the Cad)
Sir Fuzzlerton...! Oh, Sir Fuzzlerton! Where are you?
[ It probably isn't the most practical thing to walk around and look at every pop-up Bunny Cafe for a single one, but that is what Fenton is doing right now, calling for the missing royal rabbit as he walks to the next cafe. ]
Come on out, Sir Fuzzlerton! We've gotta get you home!
[ This would probably quicker with the Gizmosuit, but at least he's getting more of a chance to look around. ]
C. I Amaze and Astonish (Run Snagglefoot Run)
[ Fenton realizes pretty quickly that, while the Gizmosuit has arrived here with him, its functions have become quite limited. He isn't sure if something about the magitech was affecting it or if it was something else, and it was definitely something that he would have to look into later. But he tries not to worry about it too much. He's done good without the suit before, after all, and he can do so when the suit's options were limited.
Right now, though, there is a criminal to apprehend! Finding a (hopefully) private area to declare the passcode, he becomes Gizmoduck once more and is off, first meeting with the jewelry shop owners before following clues and a trail towards the Red Spring Inn where Snagglefoot is supposedly trying to get transportation to make his escape.
Well, not if he has anything to say about it! ]
D. The Problem is I Got a Lot of Brains, But No Polish (Farmers-R-Us)
[ Fenton doesn't really know much about farming, honestly, but it only seems fair to help out since arrivals such as himself were causing a larger demand for food. Even if they hadn't had much of a choice in coming, the fact is they were here now, and so they should do what they can to help.
He decides to use the suit, because it does help make the work easier. He could probably be fine working on his own, but he's more than happy to assist anyone who appears to be struggling. ]
Greetings! Can I lend you a hand?

From TDM
[ Fenton laughs faintly. ] Honestly, you couldn't be any worse than I am about keeping it a secret.

[ Said with a strong emphasis on 'normally'. ]
no subject
... And you're saying right now it's not "normal"?
no subject
no subject
[ to put it mildly. ]
... Is there any way you can fix it? I know we're in some Camelot-styled world, but if they have smartphones, maybe they have other kinds of tech?
no subject
[ The lab...back home. ]
Though learning to incorporate this world's tech into the suit would be an interesting feat. I'll have to look into that.

[ Hearty SLAP on the back! We're friends now!!! ... also yeah we're the only ducks here that can walk and talk, apparently ]
no subject
Thanks! I'd appreciate the help, uh...it was Della, right?
[ He's pretty sure Huey's mentioned that was his mother's name. ]
no subject
All right, I've bugged you with plenty of questions, so, now's your fair shot at me. Whaddya got?

Just as he was about to get up and leave, that's when he heard a voice. Although, he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at him.]
Uh...I suppose? Do you know what I'm doing wrong? [He shouldn't be surprised to see various talking animals around here. However, at the same time? Was that really a walking, talking duck in front of him??]
no subject
Gizmoduck tilts his head a little, trying to see if there were any obvious problems. ]
Well, I admit that farming isn't quite my area of expertise. But I'm sure we can figure it out. Can you describe each step of what you did?
no subject
Although, he didn't stare for long as he looked up in the air.]
Let's see, I loosen the soil so that it'll make it easier to plant things? Or am I doing it wrong? [Because a farmer Ken was most definitely not.]
no subject
No, that's certainly the right thing to do. Although you might be planting them a little too close together. It's best to space them apart so that they can absorb enough nutrients.
[ He may not be a farmer, but he is certainly a scientist. ]
no subject
You think that's the problem? I never knew that I needed to do that, I figured all I needed to do was plant, water them, and uh...
[He said before trailing off a little.] A little bit of love and it will work out?
no subject
A bit of fertilizer would also be helpful.
no subject
[He said before looking at said ground before pulling his head down. Planting sure was a lot more difficult than he thought.]
I know there are certain brands that would make it help but any you would recommend?
no subject
no subject
I'm not sure what kind I would need for the crops I did. This really is a lot harder than I thought! No wonder this is a quest, it really requires you to think!

As the other keeps on calling "Sir Fuzzlerton", the traveler walks up first with a curious look on his face, then a smile overtakes his features.]
Do you need help? It'll be faster if both of us look.
[Assisting people in need is what he does the best.]
no subject
Oh well...yes, I suppose I could use some, thank you. I've lost count of how many bunny cafes I've looked, and I still haven't found this missing rabbit.
no subject
...I see. Does this rabbit have any distinct features? Or will it just react to its own name?
[The boy blinks, then smiles more sheepishly.]
And speaking of names... I'm Aether. [And he extends his gloved hand for a handshake.]
no subject
Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera. Nice to meet you.
[ Then there's a long pause as he thinks. ]
...Uh...well, to be honest, I'm not really sure what it looks like. [ He had just seen that someone's beloved pet was missing and taken off. ]
no subject
[The smile on his face turns into a frown as Fenton explains that he doesn't know how the rabbit looks like. Aether thinks about it for a moment.]
We could either ask if anyone has seen a rabbit that wasn't here before or we could look for one that stands out...
[He's thinking out loud.]
Gonging back to the person who requested help and asking for more details would also be an option...
[He's a professional at requests.]
no subject
[ He pulls out his phone and scrolls through it. ]
Let's see...I think it was, uh...Lady Perinwa Bledsoe?
