[The reassurance is welcome, even from a stranger. Or maybe especially from one. Ochako's been trained to expect and anticipate help suddenly from other heroes in the field, so teamwork is crucial to success. Some heroes may have only ever met in passing, or some not at all depending on their area so-called 'home turf', so this is quite reminiscent of that. At the very least, Ochako's first impression of this stranger is a good one. Lightning sort of reminds Ochako a bit of Midnight-sensei - all the kind and compassionate qualities her teacher had, with maybe a bit of Mirko's strength and sass thrown into the mix.
With a small smile, Ochako nods her head and mutters a quiet "thank you" before taking a deep breath to steel herself. She's faced down worse, she tells herself - time and time again, she's danced with death on the job, against the League, and will continue to do so well after she graduates UA. If she hesitates, if she doesn't get back up again, if she doesn't spit in the eye of the Grim Reaper, what sort of hero is she? Besides, now that she has someone here to try and guard, to protect, that's something else entirely.]
I--...if you think you can draw their attention, it may be best to split that big cluster into smaller bunches. Easier to deal with, too...since my magic likes to go wild sometimes. I don't want to hurt you, or damage the fields... But I think I can try something that might make it hard for them to follow us, I just don't know how well it will work.
