🧙 WHO: Chris Yukine and you!
⚔️️ WHAT: Catch-all for March, quests and such
🕒 WHEN: All through March
🗺️ WHERE: Around Camelot
⚠️ WARNINGS: N/A
[The Great Hunny Hunt (Or Live Free and Die Bun)]
First of all, Chris had no idea there could be this many bunny cafes in a given location. In all actuality, she would have probably only figured there were one or two. But no, this was her fifth one today and it wasn't even the last.
Of course, she hadn't found Sir Fuzzlerton. Not yet, anyway. And what's more, this particular cafe wasn't so keen on letting her wait around just in case he appeared. So? She was forced to work for her time, wearing one of the (admittedly cute) cafe worker uniforms (complete with rabbit ears) and helping wait tables and seat new customers.
She felt absolutely mortified.
If you came in, you'd be greeted by her smiling awkwardly as you came in. "Hello! How can I help make your day a bit more bunny?" she said, doing her absolute best not to sound mortified.
She was failing.
Drastically.
[Manhunt]
The hunt for the so-called Snagglefoot Miffen was much more Chris's speed. You didn't think a short girl with pigtails could be intimidating, but she was able to get enough information on his whereabouts before he even made it to the Red Spring Inn.
Unfortunately, when Chris tried to confront the thief, he took off running. And what's more, he was fast, where Chris most certainly wasn't.
"Stop that man!" Chris called, as she tore off after him, between huffing and puffing. She had called it out several times, but as of yet, no one had tried to help her. Maybe you could be the first? Or perhaps you're her partner in taking Snagglefoot down.
[Music in the Streets]
Chris hadn't planned to end up in the middle of a street performance. But she truly loved music, even if she didn't always show it outwardly. So, when she came across a group of bards doing a street performance, she couldn't help but stop and listen. And as she stopped and listened, she ended up singing along, and well...
The bards took notice. They didn't care what she sang, but they took her out of the crowd, and compelled her to sing with them. Chris was highly embarassed, but she couldn't say no, especially with all those people around her, so expectant.
And so, she she sang. She was surprised the bards knew it, but... happy nonetheless. It wasn't one of Chris's own songs from within, but it was a song she appreciated... and it made her think of her friends.
Are you in the crowd? Just passing by to listen? Or are you coming in at the end, as Chris finishes, and finally steps down from the performance?
[Training]
Chris was always up for honing her magical skills, so she could often be found on the training grounds. The order of the day was what it usually was—target practice. She'd gotten skilled in forming magical arrows, and that was what she was practicing with: arrows made of flame, ice, and electricity, and working how to aim and fire them properly in conjunction with her bow.
You could approach her then, or you could wait for Chris herself to approach you; she figures enough practice is enough, and seeks out someone directly. "Hey," she said, with an awkward wave. "I don't suppose you'd be interested in sparring?"
The old man and Hibiki had truly taken too much influence over her.

Manhunt
Makoto is busy getting herself a pretzel at a nearby kiosk when YUP, that is a girl around Usagi's height trying to chase down a wiry, scraggly man. ... That looked a lot like the wanted picture in that one quest ad. Probably his latest victim trying to run after him.
Makoto takes a fraction of a second to set her pretzel down before bolting after him, and not only is she much taller than Chris with longer legs, she's built like an Amazon. It's barely any effort for her to catch up to the thief and tackle him to the ground.
"Why don't you pick on someone your own size?"
Okay, line's a little cliche, but it works here.

"Don't move!" Chris called out as she caught up to him, training her bow on the thief. Immediately, he let out a yelp and stopped struggling.

WELP, that sure is a bow in Mako's face too. At least it's not pointed at her and she relaxes after a second, still not letting go of Miffen as she sighs.
"Probably a good idea to listen to her, pal." She looks up at the definitely-not-helpless maybe-victim. "Got a rope or handcuffs or something?"
no subject
Sure do. [She tosses it to Makoto.] Thanks for your help.

[Mako gives as much of a smile a nod as she can before easing up just enough to start tying Miffen's wrists together.]
No problem, glad I could.
[A few half minute and LOTS of whining from Miffen later, his wrists seem to be bound tightly and Mako finally stands... and towers over the silver-haired girl. Not as tall as Miffen- who seems to slouch quite a bit having been cowed- but definitely a few inches taller.]
no subject
Now I need to turn him into the authorities... you don't need to come along for that, but I'd appreciate the back-up. I'll make sure you get credit for this quest, too.
1/2
[Another nod. The girl seems a capable archer, but two sets of eyes are better than one, keeping an eye on a slippery thief.]
Yeah, I can come. Just let me get my--
2/2
[Makoto freezes at the sight of her pretzel... already halfway devoured by a bear made of jade green lightning leaning onto the kiosk counter.]
Pretzel! Kaede-kun...!
Re: 2/2
Uh. I'm sorry...?
no subject
[Siiiigh...]
It's okay... [A quick whistle and Kaede's attention turns her way.] We can work on training later.
[On the plus side, a bear made out of lightning is one more intimidating guard.]
no subject
Trust me, I understand. My familiar is a handful too, sometimes. He's also a bit of birdbrain.
no subject
[A slight snort.]
Can't be worse than this guy.
[Clarifying by pointing at the thief. "Hey!" Miffen TRIES to defend his honor... but Kaede lets outs a soft growl that quickly muffles the Miffen.]
no subject
Ha! Good point. Look at it this way, guy, you play with fire and you get burned.
no subject
[There we go~! She smirks at the thief.]
Exactly. And you really don't wanna know what happens when you play with lightning.
[Ah yes, pure 90s OG mahou shoujo grade cheese.]
no subject
[And with that, the two of them continued on to turn Miffen in.]
