OTA - The many faces of wandering.
🧙 WHO: Kyoko's many selves and whoever she encounters
⚔️️ WHAT: Another catch-all
đź•’ WHEN: Early March
🗺️ WHERE: Around near their lodgings and the coffee shop
⚠️ WARNINGS: Angst, emotional whiplash, possible abuse/neglect mentions. Bullying.
Kyoko - OTA

Kyoko wasn't as bad off this month as she had been the month before, but she was still not quite as vibrant as she had been when she arrived. But between the talk with Harry and going to training... she felt like she was waking up after being half asleep for weeks. But she still wasn't fully back. So she was trying to take walks and explore a bit. She can be found wandering around, seemingly aimlessly. But it was... unsatisfying. She was used to being productive. Free time was not something she had ever had much of. So if she sees someone working on a task, she might offer to help. Or.. something. She just... needed to feel... useful.
Kyoko was dressed in a hot pink work uniform, as usual, her hair brown and short and partially unkempt, her posture proper perfect.
Kyoko - Locked to Harry

At least she had some new material to work with. Kyoko was very good at scrounging from things left behind and things that had been in lost in found long enough to be up for grabs. So she was making some new curse dolls in her room, having no idea she was about to have company...
Natsu

One of the reasons Kyoko still had to scrounge was because while Kyoko didn't shop much... Natsu did. Natsu shopped to alleviate boredom and because she liked having pretty things. The teen was picking through anything that was for sale, especially any outdoor stalls or displays. She didn't care if they weren't classy enough for her. Didn't matter. It was more about having something to do.
She doesn't care if you want to talk or not, if you'd be a friend or a target to bully. So long as it killed her boredom at bay, she didn't care what she was doing.
Natsu was wearing long fine pants of high quality, with a black silk V-neck shirt with artistic gaps in her sleeves. In the V of her neckline was a delicate wire cage around an expensive looking pink stone on a thin chain. Her shoes had slight heels, her short brown hair was combed neatly to the side. Her posture tended towards supermodel catwalk, and standing still she nearly always had a slight lean of her hips one way, her shoulders the other.
Mio

Mio wasn't worried about being bored or wanting to be productive. She stalked through the shops, looking for a new book. She spotted a music shop along the way and stop, glaring at the display with hate, an aura of darkness cackling around her. Then she turned and stalked off, finding a book shop. She purchased a single book without so much as a word to the seller, then found a sunny spot that seemed empty enough, and sat to read. Her whole demeanor warned people to leave her alone. But there were plenty of people who would ignore such warnings, weren't there?
Mio has short black hair parted to show the scar on the left side of her face, going from her hairline almost to her cheek and back to her ear. She walks more like Kyoko, but tends to stand with her shoulders at a slight angle. She wears a silk shirt and a lose well pressed skirt, tall socks, well shined shoes. There is an aura of raw malice around her.
Kuon

Kuon was happily exploring, bouncing around eagerly. His layered shirts might be a bit warm for the day, and at least one has been removed and tied around his waist. He was covered in dirt, but didn't much care, so long as he was having fun.
He could be clumsily trying to climb a tree or scramble over tall rocks, eyes wide with wonder. He had a bright smile for everyone, and would stop dead to try and spot a bird he hears singing, or go chasing after it once he found it.
Kuon comes across as younger both from how he acts and how he dresses. The layers help Kyoko to look like a young boy. His brown hair is a flyaway mess and he wears a cross on a cord around his neck. His posture is hard to tell because he's rarely still, generally bouncing even when standing to listen. He is basically youthful energy given form, his sneakers wrecked.
Momiji

Momiji was making an appearance. The woman wore a black sleeveless short robe over a black shirt with tiny sleeves, black skin tight shorts, and white wrappings around her forehead, wrists, and ankles. She had a broad belt, and hitched to either side of that belt was a sheathed sword. She was looking for an empty place. Once she found it, she began to practice. Swift motions, silent and agile. Bare feet sometimes crushed grass and sometimes seemed to not even touch it. She used trees and stones as easily as the ground. There was a cold look in her eyes, a grim determination as she spun and slashed and cut foes that were not there. To avoid killing anyone who might stupidly approached, she wielded not her twin swords, but limbs cut down to the right length and a weight that was close enough. Still, at the speeds with which she moved could still lead to a broken bone. She was focused on her exercise, yes, but part of that was an awareness of the area around her. But she was not used to magic yet, and her awareness was not prepared for all the ways it could get a foe in close.
Momiji is pretty much as described above. Not an aura of menace like Mio, but still a sense of danger around her. She has short black hair, held out of her eyes by the cloth around her forehead which trails to the ground behind her.
_______
(OOC note: It is okay for your character to not know that these are all the same person. In canon even the people who have seen one or two of these transformations can't recognize her, even knowing the name is the same. So yeah. This is... not obvious.)

Locked
“Hello, Kyoko, how’s things been lately for you?” Harry asks as he knocks on the door.
Re: Locked
She stepped aside in case he wanted to.
The room was set up like most of the rooms, for two people. But neither of the beds looked used. One was untouched and the other was stripped. Blankets and a pillow were neatly folded against one wall. Half the room was mostly untouched like the bed that went with it. The other half...
There were dents in some of the walls and oddly... the ceiling. Small ones like there were small impacts. She had a low table set up, too low for chairs. Which was probably fine as she didn't have chairs. She did have pillows on the floor around the table, one of which was much flatter than the others.
On the wall, near some of the dents, were two posters that looked like they came from a magazine. The larger one was of a blond guy, late teens or older, on a stage with a microphone, posed dramatically, looking like it was taken while he was singing. His face was intense, and the framing of the photo was set to his best advantage.
The smaller picture had been most of a full page, but showed a group. The main focus of the image was a dark haired man in a perfectly tailored suit. His hair looked like it had been perfectly done until he ran his fingers through it. He was standing between a blond girl, late teens, in a Japanese High School school uniform and a short sickly looking blond man. The three were looking at some sort of monitor. The rest of the shot made it clear this was a candid photo on a set, so there were extras hanging around - mostly in school uniforms, and crew. There was a Craft services table to one side, with a few adults. There were cameras and set pieces and even a piano. Off to the side, just a little away from the crowd around the screens, watching the group like an outsider was a girl in black that Harry might have actually seen around here once or twice before, outside reading a book. The shot was too far away to make out details of her, but thee was still a sense of menace around her that might explain the distance between her and anyone else.
If Harry had seen her around Avalon though, he'd have seen what the photo didn't show, the horrid scar on the right side of her face and the look in her eyes that would have made Voldermort take a step back.
But it was just as possible that he had never seen her before, or that he wouldn't even notice her in the poster photo, as the man at the center was clearly the focus. The poster looked cut along the edges, as though it had only been part of one of the two pages that made it, as both pages were creased in the middle, having clearly been two page spreads.
Sitting on the table was a sewing kit, and on the floor around the flattened pillow were several dolls that were very well crafted. They were of the blond man and the dark haired man in a number of different outfits and all with shocked or scared or crying expressions. Sitting on top of the lid of the sewing kit was an in progress doll. It looked like it would be every bit as well made as the others, and was of the dark haired male.

The firs t things he see are the posters and pictures, most notable the candid group photo which did peaked his interest by a ton, though he didn’t immediately catch the woman in black in the photo just yet. He might have to check on her in a little bit.
And he comes across her table with the dolls and the sewing kit, which has him thinking that maybe she is starting a small business anytime soon.
“Um, Kyoko, the dolls look really nice,” Harry praises her craftiness as he kneels down to look at the dolls more closely.

She was always surprised when people were impressed by her curse dolls. She blinked, startled, then smiled. "Thanks. Building curse dolls is a great way to calm myself down!" she said cheerfully.
Yes, she just said curse dolls.
She let him look as closely as she wanted and even popped the face off of a glaring dark haired doll to show an astonished expression underneath. The face she pulled off hadn't looked like a mask, and both faces looked disturbingly realistic. But she held the doll out, almost proudly.

And he is honestly more wary and scared of the creepier monsters and creatures he has since heard and/or seen in this world than the curse dolls at all.
“Why, hello. This one looks rather impressive,” he informs her, “The face detail looks really good too.”

Also, he has no idea why the Maria Kyoko’s talking about needs candles for some reason. He’s no stranger to magical candles and candles being used in magic, but that’s limited to what he knows in his world so far. He hasn’t even able to check with how magic and candles are used together in Avalon right now.
Warning: spoilers
Anger on her face as she thought, ahnds curling into fists on her lap.
She would never let herself get physically close to him again. Never.
A dark aura forming around her now.
She would never let that Beagle anywhere near her. No matter what.
She blinked, slapped a hand against the side of her thigh. Mr. Tsuruga took her hammer. It was a while ago, but he took her hammer. She had no weapons left. Well she had Corn, but that horrible Beage...
She reached into her pocket and pulled out a super tiny change purse. She sighed with relief, the aura fading as she held the small item. Corn was safe. Corn was...
The Beagle said that Corn was suffering, hurting, that he was no longer in their world.
Pain on her face now.
But Mr. Tsuruga said that Corn was surely flying free in the Fairie world by now. At the time she had been so reassured. But...
But she had seen Corn in Guam.
Her hand moved as she tried to make connections between her thoughts. She frowned slightly.
Corn had been in Guam where she had gone to finish her time as Setsu. Guam on her world. He had to borrow Mr. Tsuruga's likeness just to even be seen by her and he...
She FLUSHED darkly then shook her head rapidly.
Nope. Nope. Nope. Actor's rule of the heart! That didn't count as a kiss! No! It did not! She was just helping a friend! That was all. She was just breaking a spell so that her friend Corn...
She stopped shaking her head, blush fading as her eyes went wide.
So that Corn would be alright. But then he should be here, shouldn't he? Then why hadn't she been able to find him?
A tear ran down her face.
Was he on Earth looking for her? No... he wouldn't be. He had to be here. Unless something happened to him? Had the kiss not broken the spell? Was he suffering because she wasn't good enough?
"Corn...." she whispered. "COOOOOOOOORN!!!!!" she wailed, tears flowing freely as she stared up towards the ceiling. She clutched the small coin purse.

The young man has no words to capture how she is feeling right now, still he can’t help but to feel sorry for her today. He could also hear Corn’s name as she sobs and he wonders who would try to hurt Kyoko and her fairy friend back home.
no subject
But she couldn't find him...
She wasn't wailing anymore, but she was deep in thought. She got up and started to pace, arms crossed.
She'd been looking since she got here, and couldn't find him. But that one night back in....
A horrible look crossed her face and she stopped moving, looking like a lifeless shell. For just a moment. Then a single tear. Then relief, then.... FLUSH.
She... she had mistaken Mr. Tsuruga for Corn because of his faerie ancestry. But she had thought Corn came when she called. She'd been searching, but she hadn't called...
She pounded her fist into her hand, determined. "The woods," she said. "Clearly I have to go to the woods!"
She might have forgotten she has an audience...
no subject
So he decides to ask her why, “Hey, Kyoko. Um, do you think that Corn could be stranded in Avalon as well? Maybe I could help you out in finding him.”
no subject
"Though..." she considered. "I don't know if you'd be able to see him though."

She might have forgotten that he had probably come over for a reason...
no subject
Well actually, Harry is here to help her to find her phone, though since she is still interested in finding Corn and very eager to find fairies, that could wait for later.

The two soon head out for the woods of Brocéliande as they begin the search for Corn. Rose also shows up to assist them on the quest, teleporting inside her master’s jacket pocket as usual.

Her good mood tanked hard and turned to gloom and rage. It was all that idiot's fault.
no subject
So far, not a single sound besides animals making noises and possibly pixies flying over their heads and having some pixie fun.
no subject
She did perk up in the woods though, and as she called her eyes were wide and eager. She loved places like this.
no subject
He is hoping that the fairy Kyoko is talking about is somewhere hiding among the bushes and tress. Now he could probably feel like his throat is getting a little too much pain as he tries to call for Corn and walking around the forest, but he is too focused on the search that he might not notice it right away.
no subject
And just like that she went from hyper to amused to dejected. Depression seemed to roll off of her as her shoulders slumped. She really was a horrible person, wasn't she?
no subject
Man, he really feels sorry for Kyoko right now, wondering why she is feeling bad for. Harry rushes to her side and asks her if she is okay, “Hey, um Kyoko. Is everything alright for you now? Are we still going to find Corn too?”
no subject
no subject
“I don’t really know either, Kyoko, I just don’t know,” Harry sighs heavily as he tells her, wondering what to do now, “Maybe he could be anywhere in the multiverse at this time, who really knows right now?”

no subject
Maybe if they have better luck in finding Corn’s dad could help them out in their search for Corn. Who knows, maybe Corn might be hiding somewhere else in Avalon, maybe even a part of the world they haven’t visited yet.
