( I: Sir Fuzzlerton the Cad 🛡️ )

[ Akira's never seen so many bunny cafes in one place, not even in Tokyo. The search for Sir Fuzzleton, the fluffy Casanova continues and it doesn't look like it's going to conclude anytime soon. At least, Akira's not alone—looking for a very affectionate bunny is much more fun done in pairs.

He enters another bunny cafe with the person he's teamed up with and looks around, keeping his phone in his hand to peek at the screen with a picture of Sir Fuzzlerton to compare it with the bunnies hopping around the tables. ]

I wonder what kind of freebie we're gonna get this time. [ The previous cafe was really generous and gave out tumblers. ] Oh, here it is.

[ Someone from the staff walks up to them with two bunny hats before guiding them to a free table. ]

Maybe it'll help us find Sir Fuzzlerton.

[ He's not entirely serious but it would make things much easier. ]

( II: Magical smoothies )

[ Every now and then, Akira used to get a special smoothie sold only on Sundays on Shibuya station. The one's sold here look really good and he feels like trying some of them on a whim. What he doesn't realize is that there's a small text under each flavor.

Well, these smoothies definitely won't raise any social stats.

Drinking a Strawberry-Rose smoothie will make him very flirty. While it's not due to the drink, he might go wild with the puns. ]

I'm very smooth now. Do you know why?

[ Alternatively, someone might bump into him after getting a Butterfly Pea-Lemon Tea smoothie. If that's the case, Akira will be found sitting in a lotus position with his eyes closed. Is he meditating or sleeping? There's no telling without poking him. ]

Where's... [ A pause. ] The nut in donut?

[ He's either entered the path of enlightenment or is mumbling in his sleep. The latter sounds way more probably, though. ]

( III: Brewery )

[ Although Akira is still too young to drink, applying magic while preparing food or drinks is something he's been curious about for quite a while. If it turns out okay, he can always give it to someone who actually can drink so it doesn't go to waste. ]

Do you want to pair up? [ It's possible to make a drink following the recipe alone but the more the merrier. ] I wonder if this can be used for other drinks.

[ Yes, he has magical latte art in mind. ]

( IV: Familiar bonding )

[ Akira and Cat Sidhe started off on the wrong foot; his familiar is a proud one, so getting compared to a cat didn't help. Not to mention that Akira's spent over a year carrying a cat friend in his bag. Perhaps it's not too surprising that he projected some of the feelings on the familiar but it took him a while to realize.

To make up for it, he takes Cat Sidhe to a beauty spa in the Red Spring. If someone happens to be there as well, they might see a boy and a catlike familiar chilling together. ]

Oh, uh, sure. [ He holds it out, seeing absolutely no problem, given he's got an extra straw this time. ] Here.

[ There are even more bunnies approaching, so Akira follows suit after ruffling his hair a bit more. One of them is even bold enough to jump on the table and start sniffling their heads. ]

It's...working?

[ Akira sounds genuinely surprised. ]

( bad cop, snarky cop? what does it matter as long as it works, really.

and she certainly hears that noise, the soft tinkling of their prize as Snagglefoot looks from one to the other, as though trying to decide who he'd have better luck with if he said anything.

and, eventually, he settles on Akira. )

C'mon, man. I give you one of these and you'll be set for a month. How about that?

[ The Venti Way of Life...bless him. ]

To buy something expensive, for example. I'm just a student.

[ And farming money in Mementos is impossible, unfortunately. ]

I can't even go out drinking with you. Unless it's orange juice.

Thanks. [ Akira takes a sip and nods, it's really good. ] You have great taste.

[ His eyes feel really heavy almost right away. ]

[ He doesn't even get to finish the sentence and falls asleep in an instant, oops. ]

Ah, I see! That's too bad.

[A young man! Goodness, he would hate to be underaged. Especially in a world like this one. Where the drinks literally push you back from them? How rude. Can't even steal or sneak them in.]

I hope you earn enough that you can purchase what you need.

And what would I have to do for you for that one gem?

[ He's curious about Snagglefoot's possible escape plan because he clearly has something in mind. ]

And why just one?

[ Akira couldn't care less about getting gems, but he'd like to hear the reason as well. ]

Oh, thanks.

[ It's for the best that Venti doesn't ask questions, really. Actually, Akira enjoys the company of someone so carefree as him. ]

If I ever find a laidback quest, I can let you know.

[ Because that seems to be his niche. ]

But anyway, it is time to head off and Venti gives a smile and a small dramatic bow to bid his adieu.]

A-Akira!? [ A beat. ] Dude, have you not slept?!

[ He shakes him for a bit, wondering what the hell is he going to do. He doesn't know where he lives or anything! ]

[It's a veritable bunny bash with rabbits taking part in the treats and sniffing at each other. Gaius is about to whisper something when a particular bunny hops on the table. It seems to be looking for one type in particular.

Gaius tries to unsuccessfully use telepathy at Akira and/or signal with his eyes, "Is that our bun?"]

[morns]

Be-because... ack! ( it's hard to make up an excuse when you end up getting yanked around again, and a forearm digs into your throat. poor Snagglefoot. )

'S gonna be a lie. Should stop entertaining idiots like this.

( isn't that right, Snaggles? they'd have a much easier time if she could see that pouch and yank it free, but hey, manual mode works too. )

Ghk... seriously, just let me go, man!

[fooligans]

[ He's going to be a useless lump for now, so there's no answer. However, Akira's familiar, clearly amused by the whole situation shows up and hops on the table. ]

Just drop him by the inn. Or leave him here, he'll wake up eventually.

[divinereaper]

That second choice sounds like a horrible, horrible idea. So the inn it is.

[ And so Naoto picks up Akira with a bit of effort, making sure he didn't leave anything behind, and heads off to the inn to drop him off. ]

[fooligans]

[ Since he can't move too much, Akira slowly sets his hand on the table and shows Gaius a thumbs up. Now they just have to catch it—to do that, he tries to place his second hand on the table so he can grab the bunny from behind.

Another thing is holding back from giggling because Sir Fuzzlerton is sniffing both "hair bunnies" quite intensely. ]

[fooligans]

[ He feels just a little bad that making a joke resulted in Snagglefoot getting yanked more. On the other hand, he probably deserves this kind of treatment. ]

Do you want to have some more fun with him or should we turn him in?

[ That suggestion makes the thief speak up again: ]

Half of the gems! Can't give you more, damn.

[morns]

( ...half? he's really trying to escape this. her brows raise and she casts a glance towards Akira. )

He's had enough.

( she loosens her grip and Snaggles looks relieved to see it, hope glimmering in his eyes for a moment, before Kate opens her mouth again to ruin it. )

You bring a rope?

( or something they can tie him up with while they drag him back. )

Sure, I always carry one in case there's a situation.

[ Actually, he's not—Akira admits that a moment later, but he's pretty sure that if he asks around, someone should have something. Pretty sure that Kate can handle Snagglefoot alone, he'll excuse himself to look for something appropriate.

After no longer than five minutes he's back with something which technically is appropriate, but it makes Akira wonder why someone has a pair of handcuffs on themselves.

Maybe they were hoping for A Situation. ]

It's our lucky day. [ To make things better/worse, these handcuffs are of the fuzzy kind. ] May I or do you want to do the honors?

[Well, since Akira is moving in for the capture, Gaius tries to sniff Sir Fuzzlerton back with enthusiasm. Or however rabbits do such things.

Akira, hurry up, he's kind of tall and this is a really awkward position.]

((OOC: I just got the first 3 volumes of the manga and there's certainly a lot of lovely Akira art there!))

this is one of the weirder things to happen since she got here. )

Go for it. ( she is quite content to just. take in the entire insanity of this moment. )

[ It looks like Akira's capture attempt ends with a success. Sir Fuzzlerton is wiggling a bit but calms down a little while later as Akira sits up to take a look at this troublemaker. ]

I guess we're free for the rest of today. [ A chuckle. ] He really likes you.

[Gaius stands up and streeeetches, cracking his back audibly. Then he fingercombs his hair back into order, tying some of it back.

Which still leaves a lot around, but it seems he just prefers it that way.]

At least we can finally get that reward. And we got to try out some food at the same time. I'm glad I could be of assistance.

[He then makes a note that he's still wearing his ears and takes them down.]

[ He can't blame her, honestly. This truly might be one of the most bizarre moments ever since he's arrived here. ]

Hopefully, next time I'll have to handcuff someone the circumstances will be different. [ AKIRA. ] Do you think you can escort him to the station?

[ He's avoiding that place for a reason, haha. ]

Use proper handcuffs. These are flimsy.
