[She pondered to herself, looking around outside the complementary hotel. While she was certainly not quite as lost as she had first been after pulling herself out of the lake this was still a brand new city she had found herself in. Idly she popped a piece of chocolate into her mouth, she was going to have to hold back; a difficult task considering the stress of being ripped into a different reality! Silently Belgium considered her options for a moment longer before spotting another person.

Good afternoon everyone! Many of you don’t know me, but my name is Belgium and I just arrived not that long ago.

[Her face is smiling and kind, though she looks a tad bit confused with her hair slightly ruffled. The was a rather lazy lion laying next to her as well that let out a rather large yawn.]

I was wondering if anyone could possibly tell me how alchemy is supposed to work. I know what it is, but it isn’t quite the alchemy that I’m familiar with back home. [At that she looks a bit sheepish.] Any and all help and advice would be very much appreciated.

[After spending the last few days getting herself settled in, and earning a bit of money off on the side, Belgium decided to upgrade her lifestyle a little. No matter where you went, cities usually most of everything you could ever want or need. And newer places always held even newer experiences and things to try. That said the woman was currently attempting to find items that were more familiar with her, flour, herbs, fruit, and vegetables. While she was quite grateful to the resources given to her for free from her place of residence, she still wanted to make things herself (and in truth she thought that she could do it better).

Currently her dress shoes clicked along the road as she walked along, several overly full bags hung from either of her arms as she walked between shop to shop. She was stronger than she looked, but those said bags of hers looked quite heavy even if she wasn’t breaking a sweat and seemed to only be growing in energy.]

It's not so much spirits as I'm use to dealing with the negative emotions of people taking form?

[And no matter how many times he does this, it was always awkward explaining this to people.]

And I'm use to fighting them off or else they could hurt other people.

No, there's a bunch of others who are helping.

It's kind of complicated to explain but I'm in a team who can deal with these creatures so you don't have to worry about me being alone.

Well now that is a relief! A cute, young shouldn't have to face things alone. Having friends to help you can make things much easier.

Uh...thanks, I guess? I'm not alone here either, I got a couple of people who are willing to help me out. It's just a little difficult when I'm kind of use to taking care of myself.

Asking for help can be challenging at times, perhaps you can tell me about your friends sometime. And those negative emotions you were talking about.

I know but that's a lot easier said than done. And especially when I'm just learning how to let others help me out now.

[Another pause] Especially I never realized how much I depended on my friends from back home.

Sometimes you don't realize how much you rely on others until they're not around. Being independent is fine. But there's nothing wrong with getting help from others.

I need help figuring out the whole alchemy thing.

[She's still not certain if she really understands the world's whole magic system thing.]

Then I wouldn't mind helping you out! However, I'm not too sure how much as I have animal magic.

[He said before giving a mumble or two. Look, he wants to help out but he isn't too sure how!] Alchemy is where you transform items, right? Maybe I can help you change an object into an animal or something?

But I'm also not certain if it works like that. Though I think the alchemy here is also not the alchemy I remember from home.

How so? Mind if I ask what kind of world you're from if alchemy is common in your world?

It used to be, think of it as the grandfather of modern chemistry.

[Probably the best way to describe it. She isn't really all the familiar with it anyway.]

Oh, you mean that kind of alchemy! Then it would be difficult to deal with another form of it.

How about you try to think about transforming an object into something else? Otherwise, I'm not sure what else I can do. [Pause] Sorry about that.

No, that's fine! You've helped me out more than you know. Would you happen to know if there's a library in the city?

Yea, there is! I'm sure if you look around, you'll find it eventually. I think it's right by...

[He said before giving a vague description of where said library is!]
