One More Time Just for Old Time’s Sake (Open Catch All)
🧙 WHO: Harry and You
⚔️️ WHAT: Helleste Cafe barista stuff, training (weapon and magic), questing, and finding the Ring of Dispell
🕒 WHEN: September and October until endgame proper
🗺️ WHERE: Various
⚠️ WARNINGS: Will update if something comes up
Helleste Cafe Catch-All
(It has been a few rough months for Harry as he went through some of the roughest times of losing people close to him in Avalon that his morale has been in an all time low. So he has buried himself with work and bringing in support during the search for the Serpent’s Egg and the Lapis Exilis. Along the way, he has managed to grow in his mastery over kinetic magic and elemental magic, but he sure misses many of the friends he has made in his Avalon journey and he is also partly aware that his time in Avalon is slowly ticking away.
So there he is, working hard at Helleste Cafe as usual: the leaves slowly turning red, orange and yellow as fall arrives, the smell of coffee beans brewing and baked goods can be smelted. If you’re interested in ordering anything or want to hang out in the cafe, he will do so as usual. Just expect to see a really sad barista trying to hide his loss (and failing at it.). He is not that great with hiding his emotions that well.)
Training in New Skills
(It has been a while since Harry has been thinking about using weapons and he wants to do it before the final quest begins; Rose and Hedwig meanwhile are hanging out on a fallen tree log. Picking up a training polearm from a box of training tools, he tries not to let his sadness and low morale hold him back and proceeds to smack the dummy as hard as he could.
Shortly after all that dummy smacking, he goes ahead to work on kinetic and elemental magic as usual. He can be seen working on his elements or making improvements on his flight. During this training session, while polishing on his elemental magic, he soon develops a new element. It begins with him meditating as he raises his right hand above the ground and stalagmites begin to form from the ground slowly. Who knows, he might be this close to infusing his elements onto said polearm too.)
Shining Armor (Quest)
Oh Merlin, this can’t be good. Malous is going to need our help to stop the armour before it could spread its terror even further.
(It’s not everyday that you get a call that goes in the way of ‘HELP! There’s a cursed suit of armor trying to attack us!’ but that’s what Harry has gotten himself into upon answering to the quest. He knows that there is no way he can use any weapon to stop the knight, but he CAN use kinetic magic to scatter the armor pieces with relatively ease. He then turns to whoever joins him in this quest and checks with them on how they can stop it.)
Hey, it looks like we’re going to make a plan to put that armour back into the box. I can try to set up a distraction and attempt to break the pieces apart, but I’m also open to suggestions. Got any ideas in my mind?
Ring of Disp(HELL)
(Thank Merlin that Harry was able to pass the tests of nobility to gain the dragons’ trust. Charlie the dragon expert would have been very proud of him right now. Which means he gets to join in to find the Ring of Dispell on the northernmost Ash Mountain, which also happens to be a volcano too. After gathering enough right supplies and equipment and practicing the use of the Dragonscale spell for a couple of days, it is now time to scale up the volcano mountain.
Although it is not without its fair share of problems, it turns out scaling up a volcanic mountain is like trying to climb the countless stairs of Hogwarts nonstop and Harry isn’t going to lie that it is a lot harder than he was expecting.)
Oof! I’m not going to lie: I didn’t expect scaling up the mountain to be this difficult until now.
