Izumi groans as she fiddles with her hair again, trying to smooth down the cowlick which keeps popping up at the back before giving up and throwing her hair into a ponytail and glowering at her reflection. How typical.

But, as long as that's the only thing that goes wrong today, it's fine. Maybe it's even better that she keeps her hair out of the way, really. After all, the trip to Fleur is by their gryphon pair, and that means wind in her hair. And also means that flats are probably a better choice than heels.

Right. Everything's ready. Time to meet Elsa. Izumi flags down a carriage as she steps out of her cottage, basket carefully balanced in the crook of her elbow, and the driver is kind enough to help her in with a smile and a tip of his hat.

Soon enough, she's there, tipping the driver generously and the disaster of her hair forgotten under butterflies and excitement. Her steps infused with a spring when she spots Elsa, waving as she approaches. )

[Elsa has her hair on a very simple ponytail. She has a plan of letting her hair down once they reach their travel destination and hopefully with the help of some elemental magic she'd be able to make it look good enough.

The fact that this is an actual date somehow makes Elsa's stomach butterflies fly even faster. She's never been on a date date before and she really, really likes Izumi, so she wants this to go well. Which is why she's way too early at their meeting place once again, sorting out her hair a little bit.

And immediately dropping what she's doing when she notices Izumi get off the carriage, waving at her with an excited smile.]
