A is for Alchemy
[Anya had been so sure that she knew what she was doing. It was science, how hard could it be? It was mixing things together, going "eureka" and being celebrated for genius. See? Easy.
She had checked for proper ventilation: Outside, check!
She had checked for proper safety wear: White coat and small black gloves courtesy of Uncle Min, check!
What she hadn't counted on was that she didn't entirely understand what was written on the labels and that pouring things randomly into other things was never a good idea.
One vial glows even in the daylight, gently vibrating. One is black and smoking, laying on its side. And the one she's holding as she turns to look at you tips over, spilling a small spark. That is now a tiny fire.]
AH! [She looks to you, panicking just a little.]
B is for Bad, Go To School
[You're probably minding your own business.
But this child clearly has another plan and whether you like it or not she's dropping out of a tree with branches reaching through the school fence, right on top of you.
A teacher is chasing her, out of breath because she's fast but also because she's supposed to be in school!
Without missing a beat, Anya grabs onto your shirt.]
Ah, Dad! [or Mom, or sister or brother, she's very adaptable] You're here!
Q is for QUEST
[Anya looks up at the house. She had heard there was cake but to her this just looks like a normal house and she can't help but doubt.
That is until she reaches out with a determined look on her face, going up on the tips of her toes to grab the door handle.... and breaks it right off. There is joy, wonder sparkling in her eyes as she holds it out for you to eat first.]

She pulls her hand back out, scooping up some of that cake in the process. If they want to get through while disturbing the door as little as possible (they can eat more door cake on the way out if they still have the appetite for it), then... ]
Why don't we make a tunnel through the door? That way, we can crawl inside!

[There are definite advantages, she thinks, to being little. And that means she'll crawl through cake!
With that said, she begins scooping cake out of the way with a serious look on her face, eating every strawberry she finds but otherwise focusing on tunneling.]

[So intense is Anya's focus that she doesn't notice until she's tumbling head first through the hole, dropping a strawberry on her way and ending up dazed.
But for just a moment before she's popping back up to do a victory pose.]
