You want me to do what?

[There is a small white cat looking up at one of the vendors as they hold out a set of white clothing in one outstretched hand. Mogget stares at the offered clothes, briefly looks down at his paws, and gives a tiny sniff.] I assume that you can see I’m a cat, but if you insist.

[In a moment, in place of the cat stands a short, pale, entirely naked youth with white hair and pale skin, startlingly green eyes and slitted pupils. He holds one slender hand out for the clothing and seems to roll his eyes as his free hand fiddles with a red ribbon tied loosely around his neck.

He walks off to one side, heedless of any scandal he might have caused by being nude in the middle of a public place, and pulls on the white clothes with a small shake of his head.]

The ways you people choose to have fun is always going to mystify me.

[Yet he seems curious… so maybe someone can show him what all the fuss is about?]

[Mogget is cheating.

It’s been around an hour and he still doesn’t have any paint on his clothes and anyone who happens to ‘miss’ might simply think that they aimed wrong or weren’t close enough, but those with a keen eye would quickly see that the ‘cat’ is using hard light barriers to keep anything from actually hitting him.

It doesn’t seem to be for a lack of any willingness to join in. He does have paint on his hands, where he’s been flicking paintbrushes at other people.

Call him out? Or… try to sneak up on him.]

[When the blackout hits, Mogget’s only reaction is a sudden and slightly painful narrowing and then widening of his pupils as his eyes rapidly adjust to the changes in light. He hisses, cat-like, and ducks his head to bury it into his forearm.]

Are they trying to blind us all?

[He lowers his arm and squints up at the sky, then looks around. The darkness doesn’t hold the same kinds of problems for a cat as it might for most other people, and now would be a prime time to simply walk away from this entire thing.

And yet, he doesn’t. Mogget sighs, turning his attention to the nearest person.]

Can you see, or do you need help before you trip over your own feet.

[There was no way in any world that anyone was going to get Mogget to venture anywhere in his familiar’s body, but that’s all right! Mirror Mogget is here to help.

Unlike his non-mirror version, Lightdusk Mogget is cheerful and willing to assist, but unfortunately for anyone who takes him up on his eager offers he’s also a few sandwiches short of a picnic. When it comes to the brains, the original got the full share.]

Where are we going? [Lightdusk Mogget asks, chirping and purring as he trots alongside whoever he happened to attach himself to. It’s entirely possible that they didn’t ask for their help at all, but now they’re probably going to get it whether they want it or not.]

I can help, I know where things are. [And he’s relatively adept with magic, too… if you can get him to concentrate for long enough to actually use it.]

There’s a big lizard thing around here you know, are you sure this is where you’re supposed to be?
