Job Fair
🧙 WHO: Anyone and everyone
⚔️️ WHAT: Job Fair, where business owners can try and recruit new people and new people can find jobs for themselves
🕒 WHEN: After the May Event/End of May
🗺️ WHERE: Camelot; An empty building next to Golden Silence
⚠️ WARNINGS: none I can think of
The building is a regular, empty building next to Azul's Golden Silence restaurant. It has been decorated stylishly and business owners have been adviced to set their own booths to promote their businesses. There are both otherworlders and natives around. How they have set up their booth has been completely up to themselves.
If people require a private place to discuss business/do interviews, Azul has kindly provided his restaurant's VIP rooms for such situations.
Azul has also provided the event with some refreshments. Ren has mostly been in charge of the advertisement and getting people to the venue (both business owners and potential new employees).
OOC: There are plenty of native employers here as well, offering jobs. Grocery stores, blacksmiths, restaurants, cafes... anything, really. All the business owners of otherworlders are encouraged to make their own Top Levels to scout some new employees!
Of course, general mingling in between employer/employee finding is encourages as well.

Mister... Amayado? ( She's saying that right, right? She thinks so, anyway. ) That's... um. ( Nope, she's still too new to recognise the address. ) Where is that?
( hold pls, she's gonna check the maps on her phone. )
no subject
Yeah, that's me. [Wink!] Entertainment district, north of here. Built around a tree in the right corner. Can't miss it.
[Gaudiest thing on the block, probably.]
You got a name, honey?

Rosa is just gonna. mentally save those details. It's a walkable distance, so that's good. )
Oh! Um, yeah. It's Rosa. Rosa Rivera. Is there, like, anything you wanna know?

Tell me more about those e-cars of yours.
no subject
( Rosa shifts her weight in her chair, bright in the way only a kid getting asked about their favourite things can be. ) Electric cars. ( She's learned by now that it seems like a lot of places don't have things Rosa considers as basic as an electric car, so she's assuming that's the case here. ) They're battery-powered vehicles we use for short-distance travel. Like, um, your daily commute and stuff. I heard they used to be a lot more powerful, but nowadays most manufacturers put limiters and stuff in them so they can't really, like, go too far.
( Maybe it makes sense from a business perspective, but Rosa would really like to yank those limiters out one day and see what happens. No way she'd be allowed to do that at work, though. ) But the tech is reliable and, like, you can charge them pretty much anywhere. I hear h-cars need to go to special refill centres when they're low on fuel.

[Okay, so her tech's not so far advanced that it's unrecognizable. Speaking about "commute" implies city life of some kind, but it must be somewhere with less robust public transportation than Tokyo... interesting, very interesting.]
And "h-cars" run on... what, hydrogen?
no subject
Liquid Nitrogen. ( Oh! Right. ) The h is for hover.
no subject
You sure live in a sci-fi future, girlie. Do the e-cars not hover?
no subject
Because that's what Rosa's doing RN. )
Duh. They're not powerful enough. Besides, that would, like, fill the skies.
( But it's fine if the ultra rich want to fill the skies with h-cars, huh??? )
