I. Arrival

[After Kuko got out of the carriage he placed his hands in his pockets as he looked around. It really looked like that rpg he had back home or the ones he would watch during his down time. It had all the knight stuff, but there was technology like his phone. He wondered what kind of place he ended up at. At least he had a cool familiar with him. He read about kasha during his studies he'd never thought he would ever own one! He named his familiar Yuki, he really liked that name, and the flame on their tail was so cool! He walked over to the inn, got his room number, and walked inside. He took the closest bed and jumped in the middle of it. He didn't like the room, but it looked like he was here for now. Kuko looked over when Yuki settled next to him, well everything here wasn't so bad. Kuko rubbed the back of Yuki's ears with a found look on his face.]

Can't believe I get to actually have a kasha as a familiar. Looks like it's time to figure out what I can do in this new world.

[He sounded like one of those protagonists from those light novels Ichiro liked to read.]

II. Exploration Time

[After Kuko spent a night at the inn he decided to look around the area. It really looked like one of those movies about the medieval knights, lords, and everything else that came with it. Well, since he was here he had to figure out his next move. It looked like he could do some odd jobs for people like he did back home. There were more than enough places that needed some help. He walked around the market, taking in the different stands, along with the wares that they sold. He could see a couple of spirits hanging around different stalls. It reminded him of the ghosts that always came around during festival time. The owners still had to see how the stalls were going even in the afterlife. The market wasn't crowded yet, which gave him enough time to walk around. He figured out a place to get some money now he'd have to figure out how long he would spend in the inn before he'd find a place of his own.

Kuko looked over at Yuki who he placed on his shoulder during his walk.]

We got some time let's see what these other stalls have to offer.

[ It's not at all uncommon for Tsumugi to see a new face in his store. Kind of comes with the territory of owning a multi-faceted business. He'll get as many people drawn in by the floral displays as he does the promise of caffeine and sweets, and some that're simply curious about the name.

What category Kuko falls under, he can't tell at a glance, but he of course still greets him warmly. ] Hello! Welcome to Moondrop.

[Once Kuko finished his meditation he started his daily walk of exploring the city with his familiar Yuki. His fire cat walking alongside him as he looked for another shop to check out when one caught his eye. Moondrop? That name was different than the ones in the shops around it then there were the flowers in the window along with the smell of coffee. He walked inside and looked around it was a pretty nice shop. Kuko waved as Yuki mewed in response.]

Hey! Are you the shopkeeper? I'm curious about what you sell in your shop.

[tsumtsuki]

[ Tsumugi sets aside his tools and steps out from behind the florist's corner. ]

Well, we used to focus only on flowers, [ He gestures to a wooden sign with the shop's previous name, "Don't Stop Be-Leafing", written on it, alongside a picture of Aerith and himself. ] but I added a garden center and cafe not too long ago. [ The only way this could be a more Tsumugi-core business is if it were literally inside Kaika Theater. ]

Are you interested in anything in particular? Or did you just happen to be in the area?

[Kuko nodded as he looked around the area with Yuki walking in front of him to check out the plants close to them. It was a nice little place someone could take a break from the things happening outside to get something to eat and drink. Maybe he would pick up a plant to take home.]

I'm going to look at the plants a little later. What kind of food do you serve?

[tsumtsuki]

[ That's exactly the atmosphere Tsumugi's going for: a calm and serene spot within the bustling city, a place where someone can slow down for a few minutes, or even a few hours.

He smiles to himself, already beginning to think of questions to ask to narrow down the perfect plant for Kuko... but first. ] It's mostly sweets at the moment, but I'm trying to expand my selection. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!

[ And then he pauses, before remembering, ] Oh- I think Ichiro-kun already went home for the day. [ It's a statement more for himself than Kuko but, well, he sure did say that out loud.

He gestures toward the stairs. ] If you want to order anything, I'll go up with you.

[OOC: Hi! You don't have to reply just cleaning out his inbox]

Sweets huh? Let's see, do you have anything that goes well with green tea? Hmm, suggestions...oh I know! You can never go wrong with sandwiches or bread!

[He would suggest making some fried chicken, but he had a feeling it didn't fit the feel of the shop.]

Something light would be good. [He perked up at the mention of Ichiro.]

He did? Damn, I'll have to catch him next time. [He wouldn't miss a chance to hang out with him since they made up. They had to make up for a lot of loss time! Kuko nodded as he walked up the stairs.]

So, is this new shop?

[tsumtsuki]

[ Once in the café proper, Tsumugi gestures for Kuko to sit anywhere he'd like while he slips behind the counter to get the kettle started for tea. Something good with green tea... chocolate mousse cake, perhaps? ]

It's been open for a while, but it's only recently that I took it over. The previous owner got sent back to her own world. [ In other words, it's only by complete circumstance that he came to own Moondrop. But he's happy.

... but to circle back to something he said earier: ] Are you friends with Ichiro-kun? [ His "damn, I'll have to catch him next time" sounded friendly enough...? ]
