Also she got a cool new bag and the seller told her it would be a great way to socialize with people, awkward meetings ahead.

[Goodness, is there going to have to be some sort of scam protection program setup here now? Something to help out precious beans like Eresh! Seriously, anyone who decides to try and take advantage of this goddess is just asking for a whooping!]

[ It was sweet of her to say such a thing, and she absolutely believed she meant it. But she also had to face the reality. ]

You're kind. But... The truth is I'm not used to how the surface world works. [She looked down.] I never once left the Underworld, even when I could have. This sacrifice gave me supreme authority within my domain. My secluded existence was a strength, allowing me to keep the dead safe. But here... [She shook her head.] I have difficulties grasping things mortals would think of as basic and natural. What was once a strength has become a weakness.

[It must be really difficult for someone who lived a shut in life to suddenly be forced into a completely new situation. More so when said person was as dedicated to their job as Eresh seems to be.]

[You know, like friends! Obviously the only way to do anything about it is to go out every now and then! The only way is slow practice and going out and about every so often. But having another person with you can make things a bit easier.]

No... Well, that's not really accurate.

[ She didn't have a favorite, but not because she hadn't seen any that had caught her eye. She had no favorites because every single one she had seen always looked like the most beautiful thing ever. ]
