No doubt it wouldn't had turned out good for either of them. Floyd would had gotten bit, Emet-Selch would had gotten kicked or magic away. No one would had left this happy. Emet-Selch also possibly wouldn't enjoy knowing that Floyd was not picking up any of this hatred sent his way, more trying to figure out just what was being said.

As that new writing was scratched in Floyd waited to see what this would say, and... "I still donno what that means..." At least he can recognize the letters. "...OH! Is that you? Emet?" At least he got that, right? "Hiii~." Not that it helped much.
