I. Quest - The Missing Mindful

[When he heard of the missing cases, of course he was going to look into it. To him, it not an unusual case - at least, around here it's not. Get a few things like that underground in his world maybe, but point was, missing people had to be found.]

[Lack of weapons and clothes, or not.]

Alright, now we just play along...

[Whoever he was with, they checked in as individuals. Now was a matter of seeing which would be picked between them as they maybe partook in the spa.]

II. Springtime for Skeletons

[The Land of Rot was going to need a name change at this rate.]

[But a thought for another time as Zidane took down another skeleton and begins separating it into the piles already made.]

This would be hilarious if this wasn't the... whatever number attack on Camelot.

[Seriously, what was the count? Did anyone keep track at this point?]

III. The Battle of the Fisher King's Forest

[Monster on monster brawls aren't anything abnormal, but the fact a large frog had passed over him to get at a pelican was... something. It's the same bizarre behavior that can be observed with some other creatures, nothing which the Archivist had mentioned when he'd appeared to ask for help.]

... Sooo! Let's get going!

[Where? He has no idea right now, but they might be able to convince one of these creatures to give them info, right?]

IV. Unnamed Marshes

[Usually, marshes were marshes: damp, maybe a bit humid, but pretty neat to visit. This place - this marsh - it's unsettling enough that his tail frizzes every so slightly. It's all the makings of a normal marsh, but also... not. The plants seem dead, the fog heavy, and what sounds come through makes an unpleasant ambience.]

[Noticing the rafts about and looking at the water, he hums.]

Guess we outta take one...

[They're free for use... besides, he kind of doesn't want to know what's in the water.]

[OOC: So encounters with the nymphs can happen, but not intended. If they do, I'll add w/e warnings needed (just due to propositions), but Zidane's also not going to help them out.]

[Keith had just finished dumping another one of his own kills into the piles.]

How many 'kills' you got?

[Could taking down a skeleton even be considered a 'kill'?]

Haha, fair. I was wondering that too.

[But maybe someone, and they'd been here longer?]

Uhh... dunno. Stopped counting that too. Also, does it count as a 'kill'?

[Maybe, but Keith looked at the piles of skeletons and shrugged.]

Honestly, no idea. I mean, I'd imagine they're already dead, right? So... [He sighed.] I just want to know when things will stop being weird...

Things? Stop being weird here? Naaah, that's not possible...

... Gods, what would a month of nothing happening even be like? What do you do then?

[A month with nothing happening wasn't something Keith had thought about in a very long time. He paused, visibly stumped by the question.]

I... have no idea, to be honest.

[He frowned. Had it really been that long since he'd had any real downtime? Time where he didn't have to face a crisis or work to survive or fight off an enemy? Even before he was in Avalon, it felt like his life was constantly on the go for one reason or another. Maybe a day or two of downtime at most, but not a whole month.]

... I might have to make something happen if I had that free time.

[Because only after a few days, he would be bored.]

Or maybe I'd get back into gardening... or what if we tried to finish exploring Avalon?

Gardening probably wouldn't be a bad idea if you grow stuff people can eat. Exploring is a good idea, too. Maybe we can help some of the refugees from the other towns resettle. Or find places to expand Camelot itself into so people have places to go.

[It was a thought.]

As for making something happen, that can backfire pretty often. [Keith snorted a little in amusement.] Gotta be careful with that one. [He had experience there.]

Hm... those are good ideas too. I'm not sure if we can expand Camelot though, not with the way the Faerie Queen is.

[And that might be testing fate too much.]

Ehe, it could, couldn't it? Still, makes ya wonder what you could get away with...

Mm... Yeah. I mean, it would really be a way to help some of the refugees from the other cities find new places to live, but... I guess that would almost be more like making new settlements than expanding Camelot, yeah? [Keith shrugged.] Could be something worth looking into, either way. It would still help to have that knowledge of what's around whether we make new settlements or not.

[Keith smirked a little at the next comment, though.]

Are you suggesting we test that limit instead?

I mean, there are the townships already... Speaking of which, I gotta see about getting some extra hands out to Celliwig.

[Maybe he should be focusing on that...]

I meaaaan... can't hurt than most other limits tested already, right?

What do you need to do in Celliwig?

It wouldn't happen to be with testing more limits, would it?

Make sure the farmers have enough on hand. We don't have the most for farming, but for what we do, we should use it.

[The location was much more suited for working with natural resources, but don't wanna get any ideas over taking too much without giving back. Ugh, this ruling thing sometimes.]

[Keith chuckled a bit.]

[ Maybe a disappearance case like this should be more unusual to Tsumugi. But listen, he's crossdressed to save some knights in a strip club. In a weird way, this feels like a natural next step? ... not that there should've been a next step, nor is he wishing for any future steps. ]

Alright. If I see anything, I'll let you know. [ With Tsumugi's two-way telepathy, they should be able to talk without drawing suspicion.

He nods slightly to Zidane ] Good luck. [ then heads off, away but not too far, slipping into one of the baths. It's a good thing, especially now, that he's an actor - while not a typical setting, stepping into the part of completely ordinary spa-goer is as easy as any other role he's been cast in. ]

[For that one, Zidane just slipped inside to sit at the bar.]

Same to you. [He doesn't have telepathy, but he has a knack for finding people.]

[Nodding back once, he takes a step the other way.] Stay safe. [While Tsumugi might be off to the baths, Zidane'll look into the massages. If someone's gonna try kidnapping a person, why not then? Not that he knows if it's a kidnapping, but it's still suspicious.]

At least for the moment, nothing appears out of the ordinary for either of them... Though as Zidane approaches the massage area, he'll be stopped by a staff member. ]

Good afternoon, sir. [ The woman smiles easily, then gestures to a board hanging from the wall. On it is an extensive list of massages: hot stone, deep tissue, aromatherapy, reflexology... just "foot"... and so on and so forth. ] Have any of our services caught your eye?

[Nodding to the staff member, Zidane looks at the board and tilts his head. That is... a list.]

Huh, not sure. It's my first time. Do you mind telling me what they are?

[This really was his first time considering a massage. Things like this just weren't ways he'd relaxed before - or tried to relax. A standard massage maybe...]
