[ He had asked a couple of people their thoughts on going ahead and following through with all of this holiday nonsense. The shitty nerd had gotten him something on Valentines. So traditionally that means that Katsuki would need to do something on White Day.

Well three times more than simple chocolate.

Now it's taken a bit to figure out what he wants to do. To blow Izuku out of the water. Is it a competition? No, it really isn't. That doesn't mean Katsuki won't make it into one. Since that's basically what he and Izuku do.

He had gotten up earlier than usual. Gotten his daily activities out of the way and now he's pushing the door to the bedroom open with a shoulder, huffing. Bakugou's hands are kind of. Full. ]

[He knows what day it is! He's gotten a few random chocolates and things before but nothing really big since it was always just from friends or his mom. But he does remember how Katsuki has said he would get him back for that batch of homemade chocolates he gave him a month ago.

So he jolts a little when Katsuki comes back that morning and smiles.]

Ah, good morning, Kacchan...! Did your run go okay?

[ What a fucking nerd... ]

Don't get up just yet, nerdface.

[ Because he sure is coming in with a breakfast tray. Katsuki is setting it down on top Izuku's lap once the guy decides to sit up a bit. It's a good spread. Juice and milk. Eggs, bacon, and even some waffles with strawberries and creme poured all over it. ]

Eh?

[The smell of cooking food hits him and when the food tray gets put in his lap when he sits up he puts his hands over his mouth in shock.]

Kacchan?!

[What the-? Breakfast in bed? How sweet is this and Izuku's eyes are getting watery because of it?!]

[ Going to cut up a piece of that pancake and hold it out for Izuku to take! ]

It's White Day.

This isn't the only thing?!

[Sorry, he's going to burst into comical tears.

No one has ever done anything like this for him before???]

Well yeah. Why would it be.

[ White Day is about giving back from Valentines. It's not a simple giving back either. Traditionally one has to give back something three times as expensive. But since the gift had been homemade chocolate, there's no real price on that. So Katsuki has to get creative.

That means he's going over the top. Wiggling that fork in front of Izuku again. Take the damn bite. ]

[Izuku really wasn't expecting anything close to something being three times expensive. He would have been happy with anything that Katsuki decided to do. Even if it was nothing but time spent together. Or bought chocolates. Anything!

But this is really going over the top. So much delicious food! He tears up with joy and then takes the bite! His heart is in overdrive!]

[He's going to quickly scrub his eyes with the back of his wrist before taking the fork himself to eat more!]

[ He releases the fork, satisfied with the response. Katsuki then gets up on the bed proper. He leans back against the wall, content for the moment to just watch the nerd. ]

Like it would have been anything less than that. Idiot.

I'm happy. I never thought anyone would ever thing to make me breakfast in bed before.

[With food in his mouth he watches Katsuki and then smiles.]

Ne, don't you want to share this with me?

[He'd like to share.]

[ Well the statement has Katsuki getting a little huffy and puffy. It's as if he's getting flustered and his shoulders start to tense. He could say something defensive and prickly... ]

Then I guess it's appropriate, huh?

[ Okay. Not harsh, but a little defensive. But soon he will relax. A little. ]

M'good. Went out on a run so I ate light.

[He's happy about it, Katsuki! Don't doubt the adoration Izuku has in his head! He just never thought he'd get something like this which makes the surprise even better!]

[Let him do something as a thank you? Come closer.]

[ Come there? Katsuki gives the nerd a look for a minute. Then he rolls his shoulders.

Scoots closer to his stupid boyfriend. ]

Yeah? What're you up to?

[This stupid boyfriend reaches up to put his hand on Katsuki's neck and kisses him softly on the lips.]

[He pulls back slightly and smiles.]

[ Katsuki settles back once more, huffing. Now that Izuku has said that, it's a little easier for him to breathe. ]

When you're finished, there's something else.

[He took another bite so he still has food in his mouth. He quickly finishes.]

Eh? What else do you have planned for today, Kacchan?

I don't got an entire fucking day planned or anything like that.

[ Not unless Izuku wants to go out and do something. Oh the blonde is going to drag him out and actually train. That much is a given. They have to keep their physical and magical skills sharp.

But as for as something related to a holiday that doesn't exist here? Nah. ]

[He's almost finished his breakfast and is munching on the last pieces of it.]

A gift, obviously. But I ain't gonna tell ya right here. You gotta get up and get dressed and shit.

[ Like he is going to ruin the surprise! Now as soon as Izuku is finished, he's going to grab the tray and work his way down the stairs. To clean up of course.

Which gives Deku time to get changed. ]

[Getting spoiled by Katsuki... What a feeling. Izuku finishes up and gets up to get dressed and hurriedly tries to make his hair look semi-decent before joining Katsuki in the other room.]

You know, Kacchan... You didn't actually have to get me a gift or anything?

It's White Day. What sort of shitty boyfriend would I be if I didn't do anything?

[ Um excuse you Izuku. He is going to be a good boyfriend. So that means he is going to get Izuku things. Katsuki will try to remember important dates and do things about it. Try. After all he's not perfect.

But that doesn't mean that he isn't going to try to be. ]

I'd like anything you wanted to do or give today, that's all.

[He smiles, a little happy that it's all happening anyway.]

I can't tell if you think highly of me when you say that or if your standards are incredibly fucked.

[ As in he has actually low expectations in the end, if he's so satisfied with anything that Katsuki would do or not give. ]

Downstairs. Get some clothes on and let's head down. I'll clean up and give you your shitty gift.

Eh- Wait, Kacchan?!

[He's already dressed and rushing down the stairs to follow Katsuki.]

I just mean that I didn't want to be a pain or anything. I know you'd do everything as best you could!

[Meaning he thinks highly of Katsuki but also he's never been treated this well before. Having a boyfriend is a thing.]

I think you're forgetting the part where you're a living pain, Izuku.

[ One that he had known that he would be getting into. So there's really no one Katsuki can blame but himself in this situation.

He doesn't mind it, honestly. As exasperated as he can get sometimes, Deku is Deku. If he were anything less than who he is, then it wouldn't be worth it to date him in the first place. ]

[Izuku sweatdrops but laughs sheepishly.]

[He is happy that this is happening. If he has to be a pain because of it then so be it.]

[ There's another eyeroll as he puts the plates into the sink and all of that. As he starts to wash them. ]

Go into your nerd room.

[ Because that's where the gift is going to be! ]

Eh? Alright.

[He just got up and dressed and now he's being commanded back to his alchemy room? Alright, he heads that way and peeks his head in.]

[ He'll find the gift on the work table. It's not wrapped or anything, save for a red ribbon tied around a set of heavy duty gloves.

They are specially coated so that they are resistant to toxic properties of whatever it is that Izuku wants to work with. Heat and cold resistant. A good, sturdy pair of alchemist's gloves. ]

[Izuku looks curiously over at his desk and he perks up like a lightbulb when he sees the gift sitting there!]

Ah?! Kacchan?!

[He goes to pick them up and admires them greatly. Testing the weight and then sliding them on with a noise of delight. This would be great for his potion studies lately! And he's always working with things like paralyzing slug slime so...]

These are amazing! Kacchan! Thank you!!

[He's so pleased he's saying Kacchan twice!]

[ It doesn't take long for Katsuki to finish up cleaning the dishes and setting them out to dry. In fact, he is able to slide into the room right as Izuku is actually putting them on. Seeing the other light up? Yeah, that's the ticket. It allows for the blonde to know that he really had anticipated something that Izuku wanted and needed.

He looks smug. ]

You still saying that I shouldn't have to get you anything? Cause I can take em back?

[fullgauntlet]

No! I don't want you to take them back!

[Izuku puts his arms to his chest with great joy. No, he's never taking them off ever.]

This is exactly what I needed!

[ See, that's the reaction that he had been expecting. Of course Izuku won't want to take them off. He fucking loves them and that pleases Bakugou. ]

You gonna take all that polite bullshit now? The stuff about not needing anything?

I won't say it again, Kacchan! I mean it! I'm glad you got me a gift!

[He's going to go to Katsuki and give him a hug, wrapping his arms around his neck.]

[ Hugs. He's getting hugs and a bright ass smile for his efforts. And right now Katsuki thinks that it's all pretty much worth it. ]

[ Going to just. Throw an arm around Izuku in return. Hug back and all of that. ]

Hm! Actually, Kacchan... Would you ever be interested in trying out some potions I've been working on?

Well, there's one that I've been working on that is specifically for magical accuracy. But every time I try it, my hearing gets dull. I think it might be because I don't necessarily have a type of purely offensive magic.
