[ It's still cool, yes, but Hypnos feels warm and comfortable enough to resume one of his favorite activities: finding great spots to sleep around town. He's dressed in a very comfortable outfit, and he has his cloak with him. He doesn't go out with much of a plan other than to find nice nap locations throughout town. His one thing is making sure that he stays out of the way of other people. He's tired but he's not rude.

There's several places through the course of a the month that he may be found sleeping:

- Park benches, both on them and behind and beside them
- In a tree
- Off of various walking paths

Each place he is wrapped tightly in his cloak, fluffy as it is. But, if someone gets close, he'll open his eyes and tiredly mumble. ]

Do you need me to move?

[Usagi's in a park with Mamoru and Marshmallow (she's her Samoyed) and right now she's walking and running around, trying to find the dog's ball. And that's when she suddenly notices someone sleeping on a bench. His fluffy cloak makes it look so warm and he sure looks like he's really cozy and comfortable there...

Huh! He's awake. Usagi shakes her head and puts a finger to the middle of her lips like she's seriously thinking here.]

No, no, I'm so sorry if I disturbed you or if my dog disturbs you in any way, while we're playing here but we'll stay on the other side of the park. I just stopped here thinking... It's not too cold to sleep here at this time of the year?

[Sleeping is one of her favorite things to do. She's wearing a pink, warm and fluffy coat too. What if-- What if she takes a power nap???]

Oh - it's okay! I fall asleep easily. Oh - no, it's not too cold, either. Not with this cloak at least.

[ He doesn't seem too bothered and his eyes immediately fall on the dog. And -- they stay there for a few moments. Hypnos loves dogs and his eyes drift back up to the young lady. ]

Can I pet your dog? I love dogs. I worked next to one at home.

[ Obviously the dog he's used to is different given Cerberus has three heads, but any dog is nice. ]

No. This is fine.

[He is in his own comfy sweater as he approached. It probably wasn't the best weather for him to nap but after the big lunch he had (because of course it was a big lunch), he really wanted a nap. And he didn't want to wait until he got back to his room.

Kuro huffed in insufferable sigh. I don't know what I expected when we came out here. is what he mumbled. But he should have known. So, the church grim laid right down on his stomach next to the very tall god of sleep with a slight grumble. So you two don't freeze out here.

Minato hid a small smile at his familiars slight tsundere attitude as he knelt down got comfortable next to the warmth of a big black dog.]

's nice out. You have the right idea, Hypnos.

I'm glad to meet a man with good taste.

[ He lets out a big, tired yawn as he looks at Minato with one eye open for a few moments. He doesn't blame the other for getting cozy out here. It feels nice and comfortable, and with the added bonus of a familiar - how wouldn't someone pass that up? He doesn't ask, instead he reaches up a hand to pat the church grim. ]

I always got the right idea. Especially with this weather and these cozy clothes.

[ Well, not always, often. ]

Falling asleep is easy out here.

[The weather had certainly been improving lately...Medea herself was a little off the beaten track, out collecting ingredients for her potion-brewing, when she noticed a very fluffy cloak nearby (maybe she should get one like that sometime, it would be warmer than her usual witchy attire, wouldn't it?).

Ah, wait, that was...]

...I wouldn't dream of asking such a thing.

Are you well? I hope I didn't wake you?

[She may have been a little hesitant, but her small skeletal dragon familiar decided to take the initiative this time, wandering over and aiming to jump on Hypnos' lap. It looked comfy, okay?

And it then looked expectantly up at Medea. It could tell she wanted to curl up with her cousin for a nap!]

Little one, don't be rude...

I'm a light sleeper.

[ Which is true enough. He doesn't seem to mind that he was woken up and he's definitely not going to blame her for his. He's still blinking awake when his attention stills on the familiar. He pats his lap. ]

It's not rude. I don't m ind.

[ Then his attention shifts back up towards her. ]

And it's okay if I am in the way. I try to stay out of the way but...who knows, you know?

[That was all the invitation the little familiar needed to jump up onto his lap, stretching itself out before curling up there. Nice and comfy...

The thought of Hypnos feeling like he was in the way of a mortal like her, though? That seemed entirely backwards to Medea- but, no, he wanted her to treat him like anyone else, didn't he? And her familiar was already taking the initiative on that one!

So, she'd try her best to put her anxieties out of her mind.]

We're enough off the path that it shouldn't bother anyone, but-... you shouldn't trouble yourself for their sakes.

[...An attempt was made.]

[ He seems pretty pleased by her attempts to at least treat him normally. He moved his fingers over the small skeletal creature's head. He's very comfy. He eyes the space next to him and looks back up to her. ]

Do you want to sit with me, dear cousin? I'm not troubled by being polite. It's no harm to stay out of the way!

[ He laughs. ]

Who am I to subtract from someone else's day?

[Sigh.]

Really, Hypnos?

[Really? Is the bed he has at home not comfortable enough that he feels he has to be sleeping on the floor next to a bench in the park? The god of sleep would open his eyes to find his brother standing over him, one eyebrow arched and arms folded.]

Just what do you think you're doing?

[ The air is nice and he's comfy. He doesn't really seem at all bothered by Thanatos' obvious frustration. He lets out an easy laugh at himself over this, and stretches his arms above his head. ]

Taking a nap outside before I work a little.

[ It's certainly simply a little bit of work, but he sees it as at least he's doing some. And it was intended to be a short nap... Although he had totally lost track of time, so it seems to have turned into a longer nap. It's fine, he doesn't have much of a schedule as long as he gets work done. ]

Did you want to join me?

[ He knows better than to think his brother will say yes, but he still asks. ]

Do I want to join you. On the ground. To sleep?

[Is the answer to this not obvious? Thanatos isn't even sure why the question was asked to begin with and lets out an irritated - but soft - grunt in lieu of an actual response.]

Get up before someone decides to rob you while you're sleeping.

[At least sit on the bench, Hypnos!]

Yes! You can enjoy the fresh air as you nap.

[ He lets out a lazy laugh and shifts a little, sitting up a bit better as he looks up towards his big brother. He may be taller, but Thanatos always felt bigger. And he especially does like this. He's okay with that, though. ]

No one is going to rob me.

[ He shrugs, moving his hands through his pockets. ]

I'm not an idiot. I keep my things at home!

[ Well, except his device to logon to the network, but what's the worst someone can do with that? Surely that makes it okay to sleep wherever. ]

[Squint.

Enjoy the fresh air as you nap? Only Hypnos would come up with something so ridiculous. Well, now he's here, Thanatos can't very well leave him alone if he's going to be falling asleep outside like this.

He doesn't sit on the floor, but he takes a seat on the bench behind where Hypnos is sitting and rests his hand on top of his brother's head for a moment, ruffling his fingers lightly through his soft hair.]

You're absurd.

[But he's still here, isn't he?]

I admit I never saw the both of us spending time outdoors like this.

I am. And you don't even mind it anymore.

[ He tilts his head back and looks up towards his brother, smiling wide. It's genuine and wide. He's delighted to see and be around his brother. He knows he'd probably even take some time with Thanatos over a nap.

Probably. ]

I like it outside. It's nice. It's different. And it is easy to talk to people. Like as easy as it was at home. Except I'm not welcoming anyone who just died.

So people are more inclined to hang out.

[ He sighs, sounding pleased. ]

But I'd trade that for anytime with Than.

[He does roll his eyes slightly but Hypnos is right - he hardly minds this anymore. If he did then he certainly would not be here indulging his twin in such a manner.]

Absurd... [Thanatos mutters again with a shake of his head. Yet, here he is... still sitting here, dealing with Hypnos' persistent absurdity both because it is comfortable and familiar and because he does love his brother even if he often finds him annoying.]

Sit up here with me, at least. You're going to get dirty down there.

It's just a little dirt.

[ And he doesn't seem bothered. He sleeps outside enough that it's just come to be a part of him enjoying his time outdoor. Still, he shifts up then moves to take a place next to his twin. He does it only because he knows that Thanatos is indulging him despite his annoyance. ]

Alright, I'll sit up here with you.

[ Obviously he wouldn't bother if his brother weren't here. ]

And please, Thanatos, you know you wouldn't bother if I weren't at least a little absurd. It's how it works with us! You'd go crazy without a little bit of absurd in your life.

[It's easier to indulge his twin now than it used to be, with their relationship being so much better than it was. When Hypnos joins him on the bench he looks across at him with a faint smile, shaking his head indugently.]

I think I could manage well enough without it, but since it's you I suppose I'll just have to deal with it won't I.

[So many of the people closest to Thanatos are utterly absurd in so many ways. Hypnos and Zagreus are most assuredly the worst offenders when it comes to being purveyors of absurdity.]

If you're still tired, it's fine. Go back to sleep.

[And he pats his lap gently in invitation.] You don't get this offer every day.
