[1] Morning Puppy (Closed to House CR)

[ This wasn't the first time this had happened... Eri had ended up being one of the unfortunate ones to get cursed with Lycanthropy, so her with wolfish features wasn't exactly new...

But it was also surprising that it stuck around for the next month. Not that Eri notices, as she comes down from her room rubbing her sleepy eyes... and sporting two wolf ears on her head instead of her own, as well as a fluffy wolf tail. ]

Good morning...

[ She seemingly hasn't noticed them yet, her ears twitching occasionally as she comes down into the living room. ]

[2] Snow White Wolf (OTA)

[ As much as Eri likes school... it probably wouldn't be the greatest of ideas to go when her Werewolfness is in full swing, and nobody is sure just how much control she has over it. It's a shame, but until the full moon days pass, she's on a break from school.

Still, that doesn't mean she's just going to stay inside! She wants to go outside! Run around! Have fun! Especially since it's the last month of winter. Usually she's not so eager, but well... it may be a case of her new nature as a werewolf taking effect.

So, with her familiar entrusted to keeping an eye on her, off she went...

And now she can be found eyeing a food booth serving... cooked meat.

Her sense of smell is enhanced, and being a werewolf does give her a craving for meat... still, she's shy around strangers...

So the result is her staring from a distance away where she isn't noticed, her tail wagging furiously without her realizing and drool forming at the corner of her mouth. ]

A Little Visitor (Closed to Ochako)

[ Eri would apologize to everyone for sneaking out at night later... she just couldn't help it. She wanted to see someone... someone from home, someone with a familiar scent...

She had felt... lonely. It's not like she was alone, of course, but she just... she had to do this, and these new feelings and instincts only amplified that.

She's not sure when exactly she shifted, but she's had wolf ears and a tail all day... and as she ran through the moonlit streets, she let those new feelings take over again... and suddenly she was on all fours... and moving faster than ever before.

Mind you, not too quickly. She was still just a small wolf cub, but she was still faster than normal. She could see remarkably well, even considering how dark it was.

Still, even once she found the castle... it's pretty well-guarded, isn't it? She's not spotted... she's quiet, even for a cub, but it is annoying not being able to just walk through the front door. Well, she could use light magic and maybe make herself invisible... but she's not in a state where she'd be able to fully focus on that.

Still, she should have other options, right? Around the side she goes...

She searches around for where she can smell Ochako's scent the most... and eventually comes up around the side of her castle... looking up at a window a floor up. She has to be in that room...

In her excitement, she tries to jump up to it... but that's a little on the impossible side, considering that the window was a floor up and there's no way anyone could jump that high on their own strength... even if they're a werewolf.

The result is the small horned-wolf standing on her hind legs, paws scratching against the wall in an attempt to, well, climb the wall up to the window... which is just as successful as her earlier jump.

She whines, still trying to get up there for a little longer before the frustration and distress becomes too much and... ]

Aroooooo...

[ A low howl comes out... she wants to get up there, she knows Ochako is there, she has to be! She recognizes this place and she knows she has her scent...

The howl starts to be accompanied with whines and cries as Eri continues to try and climb the completely vertical wall... not making a single bit of progress. ]

[Now this is a sight Mamoru hadn't expected to see when they took Eri into their household. Sudden wolf ears. Of course by now he's aware of the werewolf curse going around... but to think it even hit a tiny child like her.]

Good morning, Eri. Did you sleep alright?

[Meaning: did the ears cause her pain.]

Mm, I did!

[ She says, rubbing her eyes and properly starting to wake up now. When she first ended up with this curse, it had hurt... but she largely didn't remember it because of how foggy her memories got after that point. This time, though, it looks like the changes were largely seamless this time around.

So seamless that she hasn't even noticed them, one of her ears occasionally twitching and her tail starting to slowly wag as she sees Mamoru. ]

[He smiles. At least she didn't seem to be in pain which was great. Though they had Usagi's healing powers if she needed healing, at least.]

Uhm. Have you looking into the mirror this morning..?

Hm? No...

[ She says, tilting her head at him. It's still unclear which kind of canine she's taking after specifically... but her ears look incredibly soft and her tail incredibly fluffy. ]

Oh. It's just that you have... ears? Very soft looking dog ears.

[He's not sure if they're more dog or wolf, so he's going with dog for now. He catches a glimpse of her slowly wagging tail.]

And apparently also a tail?

Eh? Ears?

[ She raises her hands up to where her ears would normally be... and lo and behold, they aren't there. Her hands then suddenly go to the top of her head then, where she feels them...

There they are, her oddly-familiar ears. ]

Ah! You're right! I have fluffy ears again!

[ And a tail too... which is now starting to wag faster. She'd be lying if she said she didn't enjoy having these the first time around... even if it did hurt a little getting them the first time, but she doesn't remember that anyway. ]

Uh huh. [Mamoru nods and reaches to pat her head.]

Apparently you don't seem to mind them, huh?

Ehehe...!

[ This is hardly the first time she's been patted on the head, but she seems to be more receptive to them like this. Her tail starts wagging at what seems like it's maximum speed and she giggles, standing on her tiptoes to get her head a little closer to him. ]

[... she's become a true puppy. Too bad Marshmallow thr Samoyed was still sleepy cuddling Usagi or shed be all over this.]

What do you want for breakfast?

[ A true puppy... you could probably keep petting her for the entire remainder of however long this form lasts this morning. ]

Um... Oh! Meat!

[ An unusual request, in all honesty, but when she thought of what she'd like to eat... it was the first thing that came up. ]

[It's late - Ochako has been asleep for a while now, and only gets woken up when she hears soft howling close to where her room is in the castle. Most days, she's not overly bothered by it, because her familiar (the white dire wolf spirit) sometimes does howling at night when she goes for runs out along the grounds, patrolling and protecting the area...probably. Honestly, Ochako still doesn't quite know what Aludra does when she appears and reappears after several days spent doing who-knows-what. But most of the time, her re-arrival is signaled with some howling, mostly at night.

So, as Ochako groggily gets to her feet, she barely notices that her familiar has been curled up asleep in the corner of her large, master bedroom all night, though her head is lifted and ears up and out toward the sound. She says and does nothing, but she's alert nonetheless, just in case she needs to move quickly.

Yawning, Ochako opens her windows wide after pushing back the curtains, rubs her eyes, and looks out over the grounds of her estate. She expects to see the familiar glow of the white wolf in the distance, but does not, and blinks slowly.]

Eh...wha--? Aludra-san? Where...

[ Eri immediately spots Ochako in the window, and well... that just makes her howl louder. Her whines get louder along with it, and in general she's making a lot of noise... which may attract some security at this rate, but she's past the point of caring. She's right there after all.

If there's anything recognizable about the small wolf cub directly below, standing on her hind legs with her front paws on the wall of the castle, it's the small little horn on the side of her forehead. ]

[Okay, that's...odd. While Ochako knows her familiar will sometimes howl to get her attention, the great dire wolf is much too proud to whine and whimper for it. She only ever done that when something is wrong, and even then it's extremely rare. In fact, Aludra is mostly rather quiet, almost like a ghost or a wisp, this sort of behavior isn't like her at all.

Which is why Ochako seems to get a bit more clarity as she shakes her head and peers out the window. There's a small balcony looking out over the grounds - she does have the master bedroom, after all - so as she climbs down and peers through it, Ochako jumps slightly at the sight of a...puppy? Why would a puppy be--...oh.

Oh gosh. The transformations! Thhis isn't the first she's run into, and Ochako wheezes. Who could it be this time? The horn gives it away and she leans over the railing of the balcony.]

Ah!! Oh my... W-Wait just a minute, I'll come down! Stay right there!

[ Even the way she is right now, she does understand... though she does still whine as Ochako leaves her sight.

Still, knowing that she's coming helps, and she stops pawing at the wall and sits... tail wagging frantically as she waits for Ochako to show up... ]

[Ochako only leaves Eri's sight for a second, just to grab some shoes and a coat (it's the middle of the night in February, after all), but then returns to the window and just...flings herself off the balcony. L-Listen, it's the easiest and fastest way down, and wouldn't alert too many people, either. No need to make this a scene.

With the use of her kinetic magic, Ochako floats down to the ground slowly and crouches a bit to be more on this little pup's level.]

Easy, Eri-chan... [Because of course it's her. Ochako recognizes the horn, and those big eyes.] Can I touch you? Can...c-can you understand me?

[ The horn, the white fur, the big red eyes... it's a good thing she's so recognizable, even like this. Once Ochako lands and crouches down, Eri looks up at her for a moment before running and jumping into Ochako's arms, whining softly as she nuzzles up to her.

She understands enough, even if speaking isn't something she can do at the moment. ]

[Oh!! Well, that's a bit sudden, and Ochako tenses up just out of instinct. She doesn't know what to expect - sometimes these friends turned canines aren't exactly the nicest - but she relaxes when she notices this pup isn't about to attack. Holding Eri gently in her arms, Ochako pets her back affirmingly before standing and floating herself back up to her balcony and into her room once more.

Setting Eri down, Ochako closes the glass doors and locks them, pulls the curtains together, and looks back at the pup...and the much larger wolf that has stood up from where she was sleeping to inspect this newcomer.]

Aludra-san, easy... Something's not right, this is my friend.

[ Maybe it's just on account of Eri being so young, but even when she first changed and was operating purely on her wolfish instincts, she was small and docile. Now she was more used to her changes, so she was still working on her own thoughts... and her own thoughts wanted someone familiar and comfortable.

Now in Ochako's arms, her whimpers quiet down as she nuzzles up against Ochako's chest, slowly relaxing more and more in her arms. ]

...?

[ That being said, she peaks out from Ochako's arms to stare curiously back at the larger wolf. She's met Alludra before, so there's no fear, but seeing a larger wolf when she's like this is a curious feeling. ]

[There's something to be said about fae creatures, and their capriciousness. Aludra doesn't outwardly show aggression to the little pup, but there's a stiffness to her limbs as she sniffs the air around Eri that speaks for itself. She can easily tell there is a curse on the child, and knows it well - lycanthropes are familiar to creatures of her ilk, and sometimes prowl the forests that her kin inhabit. They are neither good nor bad, simply creatures like anyone else, but their curse isn't a pleasant one to harbor in one's blood.

Hence the snort of air Aludra puffs out over Eri and how she turns her back on them both to go lay back in her spot and away from them. Not aggressive, no, but not quite as welcoming as Ochako is.]

Eh... I-I suppose that's to be expected. [Aludra has always been wishy-washy.] You don't have to worry about her though, Eri-chan, I think she's just going to ignore you while you're um...l-like this. But you can stay with me though, it's fine.

[ Her ears droop in mild dejection, but a part of her expected it in a way. Not for any particular reason, it had just been a feeling. There's nothing to be done about it, though... so she just goes back to nuzzling her face into Ochako's chest, letting out a soft snort as she relaxes again...

She's still for a good while in Ochako's arms, almost asleep even... but as she starts to actually drift off to sleep, she'll suddenly start to rustle and shake until...

The pup becomes a girl again.

Still with the wolf ears and tail, mind you, but the second Eri starts to fully relax, her transformation comes undone... at least partially. ]

[Fae simple don't have the emotional responses humans do - it's simply how they are. Aludra will listen to (mostly) and protect Ochako from harm, and race to her aid when needed, but most others are fifty-fifty on if she'll really care about them or not. She may not outright harm them, but she'll pay them no mind and probably give the cold shoulder if she's disinterested. Not a mark against anyone, just how her ilk operate.

Ochako, however, has her full attention on the little pup, and jolts a little when she suddenly turns into herself again. Or, well...mostly herself - the ears and tail are definitely an addition to the norm. After the tiny shock, however, Ochako's smile is warm and gentle, patting Eri's head.]

Ne, there's the Eri-chan I know. Tuck yourself in now, I can get you some tea or milk if you want.

Nn... Uravity-san...?

[ She blinks sleepily, looking up at Ochako with drooped ears... which perk up when she realizes that Ochako is really here and holding her. ]

Ahh...! I thought I was dreaming...

[ She sleepily nuzzles against Ochako in a way that was cutely similar to what she was just doing as a pup. ]

Milk please...

[ She finally replies, though she already looks drowsy, her tail wagging slowly. Unlike last time, she remembers what happened, including getting here and everything... but it seems like after she transformed back, the memories became mostly dreamlike.

So in that sense, she's just had a dream come true, hasn't she? ]

[ Its been a few days since he's arrived, or whatever term these folk uses for him, and the adjustment has been as smooth as ten grit sandpaper but that wasn't important anymore. He was there and could do very little about going home, so he had to make do.

He wanders the streets often to find things to anchor himself to or maybe an opportunity to make some money, and in his aimless wanderings he found the girl with canine features eyes the alluring meats being cooked at the booth. The smell drifts towards him, quietly admitting that the food here is leagues better than anything he's ever eaten, and is also entranced by them. ]

'Scuse me, torch. Six of 'em meats on the sticks.

[ Skewers, full from end to end with freshly cooked meats which he pays and takes and sits himself to the side out of the hustle and bustle. He wasn't just going to ignore the hungry looking child, but instead of a stranger offering her food and risk looking suspicious, he tells the "the big cat" to bring her a skewer. Which is why there's a fully grown snow leopard approaching her, a skewer carefully placed in its mouth so the meat and fur aren't touching - gently making a sound to get her attention and offer her the delictible foodstuff. ]

Ah...

[ Maybe it's just because of her wolf instincts, she's a little on-edge when the snow leopard approach... but she eases up when she sees that it's offering her... the...

Delicous-smelling meat...

She was already drooling before, she was drooling even harder now. She very carefully approaches... raising her hands to take the skewer...

And once she's properly got it, she's immediately grabbing it and digging in. She's not eating like she was starved or anything, but she's definitely eating fast and savoring it. ]

Mm...!

[ She's never liked meat so much before! Crazy what being a Werewolf does to your appetite. ]

[ The big cat meows at Eri, seemingly pleased and waits for her finish her skewer before circling her once to get her attention to lead her back to Noah, the young man waving at her while enjoying his own skewer. Next to him is the little pile of skewers he ordered and the snow leopard, now sitting next to him. ]

Care for another?

[ He say picking up another and offering up to her, this time however she has to go over to him rather than stare at a distance. ]

[ Her attention follows the leopard back to Noah... eyes widening a bit as she retreats slightly... but those skewers... ah, she can smell them from here...

Very carefully, she'll slowly start to approach... ]

[ He's had this song and dance many many times over, so he knows not to rush her. Let her come to him. In the interim, the snow leopard meows at him, which he ignores at first, but then it gently swipes at his leg to get his attention. ]

Alright, alright! Here you go, cheeky bloomin' cat.

[ He takes the remaining meat from his skewer into his hand, holding it out for the leopard gobble up. With his other hand now free, he reaches over and takes another skewer and offers it to her. ]

Here you go, hun.

Ahh...!

[ She quickly grabs the skewer and starts to go at it the same way she did just earlier. She knows that she's supposed to eat slower in order to be polite, but she just can't help it right now!

Eventually and rather quickly, the skewer is thoroughly cleaned off as Eri finishes. ]

[ He chuckles when she all but swipes the skewer from his hand. She doesn't look to have the same stature as the kids who enter the orphanage, so she clearly eats fairly well. Probably just skipped a meal today or some such, he thinks. ]

Hey, can you tell me your name, sweetie?

Mm, Eri...!

[ She says while she finishes chewing, now happily fed. Hilariously, she of course hasn't actually skipped a meal... but merely being a werewolf may as well give her a second stomach for meat. ]

Thank you for the meat, Mister!

Eri, that's a cute name.

[ He takes another piece of meat into his hand and offers to the snow leopard, once more happily gobbling it up. ]

Tell me, where's your mum and da? You shouldn't be wandering around on your own, you know?

[Some things, that Eri has definitely learned about Usagi by now: she's one of the friendliest people anywhere ever, she gets easily excited, she can be very LOUD, she is extremely affectionate and hugs people a lot!

Usagi is still like half-asleep in the living room (she is not a morning person but sometimes she has to wake up early anyway) by the time Eri walks in... but when she turns to look at her to say good morning to her too and sees those ears? The blonde girl looks surprised at first. Is she still sleeping? Dreaming? She gasps, she is suddenly completely awake and she's already rushing in to hug the little girl.]

OH MY GOSH, ERI-CHAN, YOU'RE SO CUUUUUUUUUTE!!!

[... But that sounds like something, that Usagi could say to her all the time and it sure isn't the first time, when Eri hears her saying it to her. Though Usagi is usually at least a little more calm whenever she says it.]

Wooooow, they are so cute and they look so fluffy and soft! Can I pet them, pleeeaaaase?

[ Eri was, rather understandably, nervous around new people... but Usagi was just so kind and friendly and affectionate that... well, it didn't take too long for Eri to take to her as well.

Still, this was a whole new level of Usagi loudness. ]

Uwah!! [ Being squeezed suddenly is nothing new, but... ] Fluffy and soft...?

[ She doesn't quite know what Usagi is talking about... until it hits her. ]

Ah! Are my fluffy ears back?
