Speed Dating & Friendshipping

WHAT'S UP?

Speed Dating & Frienshipping is a (player-run) Valentine's Event hosted by Ren Jinguji and Camus at Shining Karaoke, located in Camelot.

During both of these events, participants talk to all other participants. Everyone is given five minutes to ask questions before they bell rings and you move onto the next person.

The tables all have cards that include simple questions if someone is stuck on what to ask. Here are some examples of what kind of questions there might be. Of course Speed Frienshipping won't have any "shippy" questions or ones that could be implied as such.

Everyone is free to make Top Levels for their characters for before and after the events themselves for mingling, singing karaoke or anything! World's your oyster and so on.

[ he's a telepath, not a mind reader, how is he supposed to know about the hard mode!!!

He rests a hand on his chin and thinks. ] Well, I wouldn't call myself a good cook, but I'd want to try and make one of their favorites. It feels like the right thing to do. [ He's certainly not Omi levels of good, but he's still selling himself short here. It's fine.

There's a small, amused smile on his face as he reads over his card, though he doesn't leave Kazunari out of the joke for long. ] Let's see... If you could invite anyone, dead or alive, to dinner, who would it be? [ A pause, as he very intentionally reads his name tag. ] ... Kazunari-kun?

[Tsumugi has said Kazunari's name so many times by now both in their world and now in Avalon. But there is something about the way he says it now that kickstarts his heart. His mind actually stutters over the question Tsumugi actually asks.]

Uh. [He blinks fast and recovers. That was weird!] Uh! Geez, that's a toughie! I'd love to pick the brains of so many artists! [He pauses, then.] But actually... maybe an ancestor. Or even just a Great Grammy. I wanna hear old stories that have been lost, y'know?

[Kazunari chuckles.] What about you, Tsumugi-san?

[tsumtsuki]

[ "Tsumugi-san"... he prefers the familiarity of Tsumutsumu, but for this fun little act, he won't complain. ]

I feel the same. I'm close to my grandmother, so it would be wonderful to learn more about her from her parents. [ gwandma... miss u...

But now that he thinks about it, he's not sure he knows much about this: ] What's your family like?

Well there's Mami and Papi ~ And I have a cute little sister, too! Her name is Futaba ~

[Kazunari laughs behind his hand.] She's a big fan of Tenma Sumeragi.

[ He can't help but laugh as well. It feels so silly to say this, but... ] That name sounds familiar.

[ hehe. They can talk more about Tenma later, though. First, ] Is Futaba-chan a lot like you?

Hmm! Well, she's a real ray of sunshine so I think so. [It's a somewhat cheeky response but also completely truthful.

Kazunari pulls out his old phone and scrolls through until he finds a picture of her.] Here she is! Isn't she cute?

Do you have any siblings, Tsumugi-san? Oh! Or any pets?

[Listen, yes he wants to hear Tsumugi gush about Zabi, but also he just genuinely likes hearing about peoples' pets.]

And gush he shall! He'd been smiling this entire time, but his expression takes on a whole new level of light. ]

I don't have any siblings, but I have Zabi! He's my family's dog. [ He also grabs his phone - his current one, since he doesn't have his old one with him - so he can pull up a picture of Fuyu (that Kazunari took at some point). ] This isn't him, but he looks just like this. He's a grandpa now, but he still has enough energy to play soccer.
