Speed Dating & Friendshipping

WHAT'S UP?

Speed Dating & Frienshipping is a (player-run) Valentine's Event hosted by Ren Jinguji and Camus at Shining Karaoke, located in Camelot.

During both of these events, participants talk to all other participants. Everyone is given five minutes to ask questions before they bell rings and you move onto the next person.

The tables all have cards that include simple questions if someone is stuck on what to ask. Here are some examples of what kind of questions there might be. Of course Speed Frienshipping won't have any "shippy" questions or ones that could be implied as such.

Everyone is free to make Top Levels for their characters for before and after the events themselves for mingling, singing karaoke or anything! World's your oyster and so on.

[The young woman arches a brow at Mamoru, lifting her shoulders in a shrug.]

I don't see why I'd want to be anyone except myself. Except, maybe--... [Hmm.] It's just for one day?

[She gives her answer with a dry, wistful half-smile.]

It would be a nice break. Maybe a farmer, or something like that?

That definitely doesn't sound like a bad idea... just being completely normal for a change.

Yeah... [She huffs out a laugh, pushing her hair back out of her face.]

I haven't been completely normal for a long time. I used to hate the idea, but now it doesn't seem so bad, sometimes.

[Weird question, but it does make her think. She slides her gaze away and frowns, tilting her head a little to one side.]

My father caught a goatfish once. We had it with mushrooms and swamp radish. It was...

Have you ever had something that's crunchy and slimy at the same time?

[Archer has to think about that for a moment.]

I suppose a deep fried octopus tentacle would feel... similar.

[Poison makes a face, but then she laughs softly.]

It wasn't bad! But variety wasn't much of a thing where I grew up.

[Then she waves a hand, shrugging.] Goatfish are these big... fish with tentacles around their mouths and teeth that can take your foot off.

That doens't sound like any fish I've encountered before in my life. It actually sounds terrifying.

I'm not going to pretend that they're not.

[A small shrug. If you weren't wary of goatfish in the water beneath the village then that was really your own problem, though.]

They'll eat anything. They don't care if it's attached to a person.
