Speed Dating & Friendshipping

WHAT'S UP?

Speed Dating & Frienshipping is a (player-run) Valentine's Event hosted by Ren Jinguji and Camus at Shining Karaoke, located in Camelot.

During both of these events, participants talk to all other participants. Everyone is given five minutes to ask questions before they bell rings and you move onto the next person.

The tables all have cards that include simple questions if someone is stuck on what to ask. Here are some examples of what kind of questions there might be. Of course Speed Frienshipping won't have any "shippy" questions or ones that could be implied as such.

Everyone is free to make Top Levels for their characters for before and after the events themselves for mingling, singing karaoke or anything! World's your oyster and so on.

That's what friendship is all about.

And technically Minako could be answering his question here, but after staring at his face for a moment, she just decides to throw that out of the window for a moment. Instead opting to focus on-- ]

You know, why are you participating in a friendship making event while making that face?

[ Please, Minako.

His face is just stuck like that. ]

It's supposed to be fun, you know!

[Oh no. Why would she ask him that. Archer looks even less intrested now.]

This is how I normally look like. Should I pretend I'm something I'm not?

[ Not necessarily, anyway, but Minako is pretty sure that short answers are better with a guy of few words like this. ]

But are you even having fun right now? [ Since he didn't mention anything about that part. Did someone sign him up against his will or something? Minako wouldn't be surprised. ]

[He's mostly there because Rin won't let him run away.. and he supposes some new acquaintances wouldn't be a bad idea. But he's not there to have fun.]

[ See. She was right.

At least Minako does get a faint sense of satisfaction out of that fact. She guessed right. It feels nice to be right, to have her social sense confirmed. ]

I mean.. Then why are you here? You could just walk out right now, you know. I doubt anyone could even stop you. [ Not that Archer is huge, but.. well, he doesn't exactly seem like a weak guy either.

And who would even start a fight over someone leaving a speed friendshipping event? No one, Minako figures. ]

Rin wouldn't let me hear the end of it if I "ran away" from this event. I'd rather suffer from social interactions than let her grill me about not doing this.

[He's... pretty easy to get to do stuff when you think about it.]

It's not like I hate the idea of this event, I'm just not the social type.

[ Don't worry about that last part, Archer. Minako - notorious extrovert - already caught on to that part. She can recognize types like these from three miles away.

But it's the first part that draws her attention more. ]

Oh.. So you're saying that there's a girl who's got you wrapped around her finger? Someone who rules over your heart with an iron fist?

And are you two dating?

[ She didn't even hesitate.

But of course not. This is the gossip Minako always wants to know about, more than anything else. ]

Rin had you wrapped around her finger before you were dating. It's not that obvious.]

[ There's some mental calculation going on.

Then Minako suddenly stands up, slamming her hands down on the table. ]

Archer's girlfriend! This is a message for Archer's girlfriend!

[ Yes, she is yelling this. Loud enough for the entire room to hear. ]

He's telling me you've got him wound around your finger!! Good job!!

[ She's still standing up, but at least she's turning her gaze back in his direction ow. ]

What's wrong? Can't a girl congratulate another girl on a job well done? [ Minako always supports making men bend to your will, thanks. Especially when they're grumpy people who don't even want to do speed friendshipping! ]
