Speed Dating & Friendshipping

WHAT'S UP?

Speed Dating & Frienshipping is a (player-run) Valentine's Event hosted by Ren Jinguji and Camus at Shining Karaoke, located in Camelot.

During both of these events, participants talk to all other participants. Everyone is given five minutes to ask questions before they bell rings and you move onto the next person.

The tables all have cards that include simple questions if someone is stuck on what to ask. Here are some examples of what kind of questions there might be. Of course Speed Frienshipping won't have any "shippy" questions or ones that could be implied as such.

Everyone is free to make Top Levels for their characters for before and after the events themselves for mingling, singing karaoke or anything! World's your oyster and so on.

Battle, food, drink and sex! All those things must be enjoyed to the fullest, for life to be worth living.

[ Minako does wonder for a moment if maybe he accidentally joined the wrong round. She glances around her before she answers, clearly wondering about that, but then realises there sure are a lot of teenagers.. surely he would have realised it by now if he was stuck in the wrong round.

So she instead just turns her attention back to the man. ]

Well, I'm sure you're getting your fill of all of those here!

[ .. or, well, what Minako is mostly aiming at here, is-- ]

There's always so much to fight here! A guy with your kind of muscles could easily be one of the biggest heroes around!

They are not just for show! In my lifetime, I was an undefeated conqueror!

[He stands up to flex his muscles, evidently soaking in the praise.]

One day I will conquer this land as well. And New Camelot will become New Alexandria!

[ Look, she did not glance over at that last part. It'd be a little concerning if not for the fact that Minako is so used to people being overly dramatic without anything to back it up that she just believes he's one of these people too..

Sorry, Iskander. But it explains why Minako reacts so casually to a conquering declaration. ]

You know, your look kind of reminds me of someone.. Um, do you know that other super muscled guy? You know, the one who often walks around without a shirt on! His name is Beowulf!

The King of Savagery! I know him. Only a few nights ago, we shared drinks together at King Arthur's castle.

[Many, many drinks. He sits back down, grinning.] Our methods of kingship differ, but he is enjoyable company, regardless.

[ Hold on. Iskandar might be all enthusiasm over here, but Minako's own seems to fade a little, her facial expression instead replaced by a confused blink. ]

Wait.

[ At least the king stuff isn't really new, considering the costume she saw Beowulf in, but.. ]

What, how can someone be the king of.. savagery? Unless that's some place in Europe I've never heard of before! [ Yes, Minako. Clearly. ]

Hah! No, it is not a place in Europe. It is a title. I am the King of Conquerors, he is the King of Savagery, Arthur is the King of Knights, and so on. [He waves a hand dismissively, as if that's somehow self-explanatory.]

If you want a place, he was a legendary King of the Geats. It is a region of what you would now consider Sweden.

[ Does Minako even know where exactly Sweden is?

.. well, that's yet to be seen. But it's not the most important part of all of this to her in the first place. Since she knows time is limited, she knows she has to focus on what's most interesting here. ]

I didn't know all kings get a title like that! Who makes them up? Can you guys just think of those yourselves, or does someone have to give them to you?
