And Felih's off to slice it to bits. Bruno's just... going to take a moment to stare, thoroughly impressed. That is, until a rice blob the size of a basketball goes sailing through the air toward him. He ducks, neatly avoiding being hit and looking back at the splatter of grains for an instant.
He can stand there with a sword he's got no clue how to use or he can help. It actually takes him a couple beats to remember he's got magic that's actually useful for this sort of thing. After looking down at himself and noticing he hasn't got so much as a free belt loop to hang it from he drops it and takes a deep breath. Forms a ball of green hard light. Chucks it at the monster. The first ball flies past it. So does the second. The third hits it square in something that might be an eye, causing it to emit a sound like tearing sheet metal.
Hey, he might be getting the hang of this!

The first ball of light that flies past him makes Felih jump slightly, watching in confusion as it goes- and then the second, and finally the third. When the third strikes true and makes the beast roar, his ears shoot up.
"Can you aim for the other eye?" he asks, immediately delighted. "If we can just blind it...!" Then he can use the opportunity to go in for a kill. He may be a small Miqo'te, but he knows how to hunt prey bigger than he is. And this beast is just pure fishy deliciousness on rice. (He may have become smitten with Doman cuisine during his travels...)

He runs round to the other side of the monster, and it's here where his actual skill lies--he seems to simply appear in a manner only ten years' worth of what amounts to daily stealth training can accomplish.
"Okay, here goes!" He concentrates for a beat and the next ball of light he throws is spiky. If the giant grin on his face is any indication, he seems to be enjoying this. The light ball doesn't hit quite as true but it still puts the monster's other eye out in a spray of what looks like ginger sauce.
It swings its head toward them and makes its displeasure known with another wasabi-redolent roar.

Well. Would you look at that. Bruno's actually not half-bad once he gets moving.
Impressed, he gets back to work, darting forward and leaping up high, using his chakrams in a spinning flurry of blades, close enough to hack away at its limbs and break the monster down into something helpless- hopefully once it's been cut to pieces, it'll lose the animation magic on it.
"And stay down!" he yowls as he watches hunks of rice and fish of all kinds sent flying this way and that into the snow, with some odd trails of soy sauce spattering around like mock blood.

"Hey, this is pretty good." He grins, picking his way through sticky rice and churned-up snow toward Felih and looks at the scattered remains. "Well, that was fun. What do we do now? Throw a victory feast? I'd be all for that.
'Come all and partake in the glorious fruits of our victory!'" he concludes with a wide gesture.
Now that things have quieted down, it's worth noting he's at least got some proper winter gear on, with a hand-knitted green hoodie and thick trousers on under his ever present ruana, sturdy boots on his feet, and finished up with gloves and a bright green scarf. All of which are spattered with sushi innards.

...absolutely covered in fish splatter.
The Miqo'te wrinkles his nose and huffs. "Darling, that just won't do," he says, "If only I could use even my mundane magics here... ah well. Holly, dear, if you would?"
He calls into the air and a small fae spins into existence, the little thing circling around Felih with the sounds of happy chimes, before she stops and sees where Felih is pointing. The tiny creature puffs her cheeks out, looking quite indignant at the state of Bruno's clothes, before she suddenly starts flying in a spiral around and down Bruno's being, faerie magic leaving his clothes squeaky-clean.

"Oh--why, thank you, Holly." If there's one thing he's learnt, it's to be polite to people's familiars. An easy thing for him, as he's polite to a fault, anyway.
Then he looks at the culinary carnage. "Does this... happen a lot, here?"

Felih leaves Holly to her investigating, replying to Bruno in the meantime. "Not quite like this, but... strange magical mishaps? Absolutely. All the time, really. With so many folk learning to use magic- and with so many experimenting- things go sideways every week or so," Felih laughs, tail idly swaying behind him. "Sometimes it's quite serious or dangerous stuff, but that's usually politics of this realm and the various native powers at play that are responsible for those kinds of incidents."
