[Oh, how dare you, tiny human! Makijira will show you what's what! Or, at least, that's what its next]

[sure sounds like. It charges, taking a few swings at Jean with its sharp appendages. It looks like it's winding up to attack again when it jolts with an awful screech. Bruno has, indeed, stabbed it from behind, and stabs again before it rears back and twists toward him. His sword is still in its back and... he's still hanging onto the sword.]

[Well, the tactic seemed to work until that point. Jean takes this opportunity to stab the monster as well before running a bit further back.]

Listen! You'll have to let go of the sword! I'll catch you so... trust me!

[He's definitely gonna catch him. As a giant fluffy bear to make it softer for him.]

[There's really not much for it. He's going to be shaken loose, anyway, as the monster bucks, trying to dislodge him. The next time it swings him toward Jean, he lets go and flies through the air with the greatest of EEEEEs.

It's a good job he's so small and light, because that monster really yeeted him....]

[As promised, Jean is there to catch him as a big fluffy bear. Enjoy being caught by a bear. At least the landing is very soft.]

[Bruno has never hit anything or anyone with such a pwuf! sound. He finds himself surrounded by fur, and a part of his mind absurdly notes that wow, bears really are fluffy.

Once he's on the ground, he reels for a beat before focussing again, then grins.]

[Alas, he has no weapon, now, so he takes a step behind Jean again before remembering that oh, yes, he's got some kinda-sorta-maybe useful magic, these days.]

Ay, where's my brain? Maybe someday I'll remember my magic a little quicker. [With that, he sets to forming and throwing hard light spheres at the monster, though it's probably best if someone else draws aggro, so to speak....]
