WHAT: It's Camus' birthday. He didn't tell anyone, but Ren knew. So people found out.

His birthday was here, again. And again, he didn't tell anyone it was coming, as he normally spent it alone. Granted, he probably wouldn't this year, considering he lived with Kitsuno and Ren. He figured he would go out to a cafe and get some tea and cake in celebration. For now, he was enjoying the peace and quiet of the castle library with a book and a mug of tea. He'd join the other residents later.

Too bad he didn't remember that Ren already knew his birthday.

[ Having worked on a beautiful floral cake with the help of the people she works with, knowing that the mortals here celebrated their lifeblossoming with such in their times- she made sure to put in an extra bit of effort for Ren's- and now, her own partner.

A year past, she wouldn't have imagined even being in this situation, but a year here... she looks pleased as she looks over at Ren. Giving him a nod to go ahead. It's time to surprise him! ]

[Ren has with him a small box that's meant to be his present for Camus. A set of earrings, in case he ever wants to try piercing his ears - but also a matching fashionable necklace.

He smiles at Kitsuno before opening the door to the library~ and singing "Happy Birthday to you".]

[Well, that was short lived.

At least it was the people he enjoyed the most.

Closing his book, he smiled.]

Thank you. Who told you today was my birthday?

Ren made a good guess to it.

[ Setting the cake down- she has a present as well, a bracelet to match Ren's given set and a floral arrangement in a music box. It's small but cute?

She claps her hands together. ]

Oh, the people who celebrate oft take these "selfys" to commemorate the event! Shall we take one too?

I went home and came back with a lot of info on you and your bandmates.

[And HEAVENS, but that's not important. He sets his gift on the table near the cake.]

That's a great idea. A photo of us together on all our phones would be lovely.

Of course. [He eyes Ren. Apparently he needs to figure out all that he knows about Quartet Night and himself.

But that's for another day.]

A selfie would be nice, yes.

[ Arranging everything and pulling out her phone! It has some cute glass charms of their colours on flowers suited to them- orange rose for Ren, blue rose for Camus and red peach blossom for herself!

And she motions to Ren and Camus first. ]

Let me get one of you both first? Then I'll join. But you'll have to take it... my arms aren't as long as yours.

[ And she can't shapeshift here! ]

As long as I can snap photos of you in return. Or both of you together~

[He'll make room where he's sitting for Ren to sit.]

We'll get photos of everyone. [He pauses for a moment and continues, quieter.] I'd like one of you two, also.

[ She's learnt this much! But she ducks her head and smiles, before asking them to move closer and-

Ren chuckles, giving Camus a kiss on the cheek before getting up again.]

Now you take a seat and I'll take some photos.

[ She brightens and moves over to join them behind the table- since she's small, she'll fit in the middle and hand one of them her phone! ]

Mm! Ready when you are! I want to have the best memories with you both!

[ Lightly blushing at that too- she never asks for anything but. This is alright, isn't it? ]

[Kitsuno fits perfectly between them. Ren was actually going to take a picture of Kitsuno and Camus first but this works well. And he would just move to take the picture after he takes one of them all together.]

Okay, I'm going to hold my phone so everyone look up.

[He leans closer so they're both within the frame before snapping a few photos. Then he gets up and aims his phone camera at the two.]

[Camus rests a hand on Kitsuno's back in case she needed any support, leaning in a bit for the selfie.]

We're going to have enough pictures for a while.

[And no, he doesn't mean that in a bad way.]

I don't think I could have enough. You're two of the most beautiful mortals I know.

[ Honestly and sweetly. She smiles warmly for the pictures, then leans in against Camus, arm around his back as Ren takes pictures of them. With a smile to Camus, she turns to motion to the cake. ]

We worked hard on this. I hope you like it...

[ Pausing... ]

... I forgot the candles.

Candles are just a reminder of one's age. It's alright, my lady.

[He smiles before looking over at Camus.]
