A - Beta Testing
[All in all, the mysterious offer is enough to pique his interest, and though suspicious, Fumikage decides to investigate it. But what he isn't expecting is to suddenly be in the body of someone else.]

W-What is this--?!

[That's not his voice. Nor is it his hands. And wow, is it weird not having a beak...]

[Fumikage doesn't like this. He needs some help reversing the enchantment, and fast.]

[OoC: If you'd like to merely swap bodies with Fumikage and panic with him, feel free! You can also use this as a means of mingling with others while wearing Fumikage's face, or feel free to confuse Fumikage while wearing someone else's face!]

B - They Grow Up So Fast
[Honestly, Fumikage has no idea where the egg had even come from; he woke up one morning and suddenly there was a brightly-coloured egg curled up beside him. But weirdly enough, Fumikage hadn't felt a desire to throw the egg out; instead, he felt an overprotective urge to look after the thing. Even he can't explain why.]

[So, when he goes out, he's an odd sight to behold. He has his backpack, wherein Dark Shadow is peeking out of it, and he's fashioned another sling-like bag out of his cloak to help carry the large egg in as he goes about his daily business. He can mostly be found looking at baby foods and supplies, humming to himself or asking Dark Shadow some questions.]

Do you think this would be good for an egg to eat?

I dunno. Let's try!

C - Aurora Bearealis
[Eventually, that little egg hatches, and instead of a small little egg in his care, Fumikage now has a baby bear to take care of. This is by far the strangest thing he's seen come out of an egg, but Fumikage takes it all in stride. He got the egg to hatch, he's proud!]

[However, that pride turns to dismay as he realizes just how rambunctious that bear actually is. It has a habit of sneaking out of his Inn room or wandering away on walks, and has a habit of chewing on things that don't belong to it or snapping at unsuspecting passersby. It seems to want to always play-wrestle, too! And each time, eventually, an exasperated Fumikage comes running up eventually in his quest to track down the bear.]

Hey! What did I say?? You cannot just fight everyone you see!

[Parenthood sure is hard...]

[Tokoyami had just been comparing different brands of baby food when he heard the familiar voice. He looks up, nodding to Izuku.]

Good morning, Midoriya-san.

[From his backpack, Dark Shadow gives a friendly wave!]

This? This is an egg I found. I was looking at appropriate foods to feed it.

[The egg in question shifts in his cloak-sling, and a baby-babble sounded from it.]

[Sorry, Izuku seems to take a step back with a startled noise coming out of his throat.]

Wha?! It's ... it's already making noise?! Am I hearing that ... How?

[How is the egg already making noise??]

Tokoyami-kun, you're just going to take care of an egg you happened to find? Shouldn't you... try to find the mother??

Yes, you are hearing that correct. It is surprisingly noisy for an egg...

[Funny enough, rather than look annoyed, he just places a hand over it protectively. The baby-babble sounds a lot happier now.]

That's the thing. I woke up with it in my bed. I don't know where it came from, let alone where its mother would be.

[Who knew Tokoyami was such a mother-bird... He's impressed.]

Ah... that's... concerning.

[He puts his hands together.]

Then it might be a mission, Tokoyami-kun! We will have to take care of the egg while looking for the mother! [...In a smaller mumble,] I'm just glad it's not your egg... You're too young to become a father...

[But he looks down at the egg, arm wrapping around it as if to draw it closer to him.]

[Fumikage lets out a disgruntled huff. Maybe he misheard, but still... that's a weird mental image.]

[He frowns down at the egg, which babbles up at him.]

[Somehow it's kind of cute to see him frowning down at the egg.]

It's alright...! I'll help you take care of it! We could start with... ahh... How do you feed an egg...?

[It was difficult to explain. Waking up to a strange egg in his bed would be alarming, but for Fumikage? All it does is spark an unfamiliar, protective urge inside of him. He wants to protect this strange egg, and keep it safe. He can’t explain why, he just… does.]

[But he looks up at Deku, surprise on his face.]

Hmm? You want to help..?

[Maybe Tokoyami really was a mother bird in a previous life...]

[In any case, Fumikage blinks in surprise, before looking away a bit. Is that... a sheepish look??]

[ See... He's had his own egg problems too. But instead of one bear, it's two. So Bakugou's bears are going to run into Tokoyami's bears.

And they're gonna have the three bears. Unfortunately Bakugou's going to be too late to really stop any of it. ]

[The bears seem far too engaged in their play-wrestling than they do in listening to their surrogate parents. Fumikage lets out a disgruntled sigh, shaking his head. But he looks up when he sees a familiar face.]

Bakugou. Are these ones yours?

[ Oh boy do they. They're all sniffing each other out then rolling and tumbling along. Fake bites and swipes.

Just having a grand old time while Bakugou and Tokoyami just stare on. ]

Unfortunately. Fuckers tricked me into it wouldn't you know.

[Just a bunch of baby bears having a blast. It’s kind of cute, in a way.]

Mm, I would believe it. I found my own beside me in my bed when I woke up one morning.

[These eggs sure were tricky! But maybe it’s the bonding magic, but he finds he can’t exactly get mad over it.]

Ochako is out and about, doing her grocery shopping (yes, she still does it, even though her workers sometimes beg her to give them tasks to do for her), and she's actually picking up a carton of eggs herself, looking through them to make sure none were damaged.]

Hm, hm...maybe I'll make some tamagoyaki for breakfast one day with the...se...

[Ochako blinks, pausing as she spots Tokoyami a few aisles down with a sling that is most definitely holding an egg in it. An egg. Tokoyami has--...had?? And egg. Did he lay it? No, no, that's not...he can't. Unless he found someone and--no, definitely not, he's not the kind of person. ...But maybe? DID HE HATCH FROM AN EGG, TOO?? Oh my god, was he ugly as hell as a baby like birds are?

Fuck.

She blinks once, twice, then slowly...calmly...sets the carton of eggs back down where she took it from.

Perhaps not....that...today.]

[While Ochako is having her own wandering thoughts, Fumikage doesn't actually notice her. It's actually Dark Shadow who sees her, who's peeking out of his backpack right now. The shadow perks up and waves a hand at her.]

Hi Ochako!

[Fumikage looks up, blinking in surprise, before he sees Ochako himself. He nods to her.]

Ah, Uraraka-san. Hello.

[He says it calmly, like he isn't currently carrying a babbling baby egg.]

[Ochako just waves back rather mechanically, because she could have sworn that she just heard the egg make noises like an actual baby would. The egg is talking. Babbling. Do eggs normally do that? No, no they do not. ...Unless chicken eggs do? She's pretty sure chicken eggs actually do that.

Tokoyami is definitely not a chicken. But why does he have an egg? She should ask. Definitely ask. ...Is that rude? Maybe he wants to keep his secret lovechild a secret. That is definitely something worth keeping a secret. unless it's not a secret? He is just kind of toting it around in public like it's nothing so maybe it's okay to ask about his not-so-secret lovechild.

[Fumikage doesn’t seem to be all that perturbed by Ochako’s mechanical wave. In fact, he looks like nothing is out of the ordinary, even with the baby-babbling egg in his hold.]

Are you out running some errands? I’ve found myself doing some unexpected shopping myself, actually.

[And then he blinks in surprise, looking down at his cloak-sling, and the egg within it. Ah.]

[He lets out a sigh, shaking his head.]

[The visible relief on Ochako's face is absolutely hysterical as she slumps down a little bit, feeling the strain and tension leave her body. She really isn't sure how she would have taken her other good friend being a bird-dad or something when he's still first a first year student. Tokoyami don't become a teen dad...Ochako's frail heart cannot take it.]

Heeh, for a while I thought, maybe--...eh, n-nevermind. [AHEM.] Do you know who it could belong to? We should probably find out, and return it as soon as possible. I know there's dragons around these parts, and it could be a lost one...
Maybe that mama dragon I helped so long ago with Yuzu-chan had another clutch?

[There's a small bear swatting at Din's boot. It takes him a moment to notice but the familiar sensation of something grabbing his leg causes him to look down. And a momentary feeling of disappointment when it is not who Din hopes.

Though he hopes this isn't another foundling for him. And Tokoyami appearing seems to confirm that.]

[When the bear sees Fumiukage, it lets out a little squeaky roar and leans against his leg. Fumikage lets out a sigh.]

I've been looking after a foundling for a while now, back home anyway.

[It's easy to tell that there's a fondness there, and that Din misses him.]

He's a bit of a handful.

[The term is unfamiliar to Fumikage. Was that some kind of term for a baby who was found? Either way, it's clear Din has some experience in the matter. And seems to miss the tiny baby.]

[The voice that comes out is not his own. Fumikage looks down at his hands, which look much different than before. Even his beak is different, flat instead of hooked. When he looks up, he's... looking at himself.]

What manner of sorcery is this??

[ When he looks up and sees his body staring back at him, he looks down at his hands - not his hands, they're too human, they're not his at all - and feels panic starting to creep in. ]

Wh-What happened? How did we - ?

[ Looking back to his body (it's just so weird to think about), he spots the dalmation statue in his hand. ]

[Probably not a surprise to see Zidane somewhere about in Camelot. It's like he didn't understand what it meant to stay still and had to constantly be moving somewhere which might seem weird, but he was doing some shopping himself. Getting some ingredients it seems, looking like he's preparing for a big event of some kind.]

[Meanwhile, he's kind of staring at Tokoyami because he sees the backpack, grins when he sees Dark Shadow, but then blinks at the sight of the egg.]

[He wonders how many times he's probably heard something today...]

[Tokoyami blinks and looks up, nodding to the familiar face.]

Ah, hello Zidane-san. Things are going as well as they can today. I am just out doing some unexpected shopping.

[The egg lets out some baby-garble, and he rests a hand on top of it. Like it’s completely normal.]
