[Ochako herself doesn't have Bargaining Magic, so unless that's a neat trick Zidane has on hand...they may have gotten lucky with simply deescalating the situation at hand. in all honesty, Ochako was simply ready to just fight these things, and she sort of is still beating herself up about just jumping right to a violent confrontation instead of a peaceful one... It's something to work on for the future, really - stopping and thinking, assessing the situation and reacting in a way that benefits everyone. these aren't villains, after all, they're just creatures who are upset. They can be talked to. They have hearts and minds like everyone else.

The haul they bring back is impressive to save the least!! And with all the time it took to get everything, Ochako was able to set up some good places to actually cook them up! The fish can actually be served up raw or lightly seared, too, and with some herbs, oil, and a few garnishes and sides...it's looking like a decent spread!! The young teen's not a gourmet, but her skills aren't anything to sneeze at. Simple dishes but hearty, flavorful, and tasty!! She's also a hell of a teacher, instructing others to pull their weight, get things done, and learn how to do even menial tasks in this little outdoor "kitchen" of sorts.

The skinning and butchering though, ah...ah.... Ochako actually has to stand aside for that. She feels her stomach churn and a terrible sour tang in the back of her throat. I-It's not that she hasn't seen butchered animals or anything before, but...u-usually the guts have already been removed, and they've also been bled...and cleaned. It's not exactly a pleasant thing, really. Fish, and the occasional chicken are one thing but...larger game....oof.]
