[It's been a hell of a year, or close enough to it, for Ochako and her many friends here. From the varying trials and tribulations of general quests, to the more perilous missions between kingdoms, to new beginnings and changing tides...it's all a path forward on the long road of life. Despite the difficulties, Ochako's been able to reflect on this past year and finally find herself a bit - a new title and a new, but still somewhat the same, purpose in this world. Something given, something earned (even if she doesn't really see it that way, yet), but still very much hers.

Lady Uraraka (hrrgh...it'll never feel normal, yikes) is throwing a bit of a holiday celebration at her small castle to celebrate the coming and going of a full year. Not only that, but also Christmas prior, and even her birthday as well! All friends she knows, and anyone those friends care to invite, are welcome!! They'll be guided to a decently sized ballroom where several tables have been set up for people to relax and eat, and a separate table for gift giving and gift receiving as well!

What, you thought you'd come to this celebration and leave empty-handed? Pshaw.]

[Not like him reacting would really do much either way...Ochako is a tactile sort of person, and her idea of personal space isn't the best. Ask Izuku, he'd know very well how up close and personal she can get sometimes, especially if she likes someone.

But, as she peers a little closer at Katsuki, Ochako can note that he's more reserved than usual, and it sort of clicks when she sees his eyes drooping.]

Oh! [He's tired!! Ah...that's cute. ♥] If you want to go lay down somewhere, away from all this, I actually have a room already set up for you, Bakugou. Ehehe, since I knew you'd wanna get away sooner or later. C'mon, let me take you there. It's on the end of the wing here, farthest away from the ballroom so the noise doesn't carry.

[ Don't call him fucking cute, Kirby! He's not! Bakugou Katsuki is an extremely grouchy old man who likes to go to bed at a reasonable hour. ]

Tch.

[ Why would she do all of that, huh? A separate place where he can just go and pass out? Seems like a good idea. ]

Whatever.

[ Going to try to get to his feet now. Definitely going to turn into a zombie shuffle. ]

[Adorable then. :'D Absolutely fuckin' precious grumpy-faced old man who needs his beauty rest at a decent hour.

And she did it because Ochako knows he'd try to escape anyway, and gave him an out. She still wants him to enjoy his time here today, after all, even if it's on his own terms. He ate, he socialized a little bit, and now he can go and be a recluse - she's not going to force him to stay where he's uncomfortable.]

I'm really glad you came - I know you don't really like these kinds of things. [She's going to match his pace, but gently steer this sleepy zombie in the right direction.] But it's always more fun when you're around, Bakugou, so thanks a lot.

[ Apparently walking and talking aren't things that are going to happen at the same time. So when she speaks, he pauses. Mostly because, again, trying to parse two things at once seems to be beyond his capability.

He blinks once. Blinks twice. Then again and starts to squint. ]

Hah? How?

[ Bakugou doesn't think that he's very fun at these things? ]

[Ochako stumbles a little, not expecting Bakugou to stop walking, so she squeaks a little and avoids bumping into him by a hair. She'd be mad about it if it weren't clear he's not firing on all cylinders right now, and if she weren't in such a good mood, either. Ochako blinks back, tilting her head to one side.]

Eh? Well, I guess...because you're my best friend. [She pauses, thinking that's not really enough, then continues.] It's just your energy. You're really lively, Bakugou, and that makes me laugh! And I really like being around you, you're just...I don't know. You hate these things, but you still come, you still participate. That means a lot, 'specially here, and I'm grateful.

[Because Ochako doesn't have the same wide web of friends as she does back at UA. She doesn't have her mom and dad. It's just the few who are here, and they could go at any second.]

I can't describe it, but you're just a part of everything now. Taking you out of the picture makes it incomplete. Imperfect.

[ He listens, because of course he does. Bakugou does that more than what people actually realize. It probably just looks a little weird because Katsuki himself is... Well he's not scowling. Too tired to really make his face contort just the way it normally does.

Now he hears what she says. It's just it's not really sinking in. So there's really not going to be a debate. No arguing that he's the best. No talking about how it's stupid, how sentimental she is getting.

Just one simple: ]

'Kay.

[ He'll probably flip his shit over it tomorrow. For now he's continuing his shuffle. ]

[Ochako does indeed notice, and she's having a hell of a time trying to not laugh too hard. He's so stinking cute when he's all sleepy like this!! Is this always how Bakugou gets when he's overly tired? Oh man, she has got to grill Izuku about it, because it's actually kind of adorable? He's so agreeable...

She does giggle a little bit though, and reaches the room she set aside for Bakugou, well enough away from the event hall and tucked in a nice, secluded corner of the wing. Opening up the door, she ushers him inside, where a cozy bed has been made up with fresh bedsheets and all. There's even a mini bookshelf with some books therein for him to peek through, a TV, and even a pitcher or water and glass if he gets thirsty through the night.]

Obviously I don't have any pajamas for you, but it's fine if you sleep in your clothes. You can stay as long as you want, or sleep over if you need to. There's going to be fireworks later, but the walls are pretty thick, you shouldn't hear too much noise. And if you need anything, just let me know, okay?

[Ochako smiles up at her sleepy friend, hesitating a moment before just deciding to go for it. She won't get to when he wake up and decides to leave, so might as well. Taking that step forward, she hugs him tight and places a little smooch on his shirt, over his heart. Because she's a sap, yes, but also because she does love this big dummy.]

Thanks again for coming, I'm glad you did...r-really. [It was kind of nerve-wrecking, and bittersweet to have a party like this, on her birthday, and not get to celebrate with her family, but...it was nice! She's happy.] Happy New Year, Bakugou. Sleep well. ♥

[ As if Bakugou is going to pay attention to any of that at the moment? Because he's so out of it and just wanting to get from point A to point B. Right now B is actually for "bed."

He's only stopping because Ochako is hugging him. It probably doesn't register since he's not having a hissy fit about it.

After she's done with that, the blonde is just walking straight to the bed and falling. Falling face first into the bed with a grunt. And a lot of grunts that follow as if he's answering her. He doesn't care about changing clothes. Or anything other than sleeping.

Sorry that he's pretty much nonverbal at this point. ]

[The fact that he sort of just takes it is...definitely not a bad thing. It's actually really, really cute how droopy and sleepy he is - like a little kid past their bed time - and Ochako can't help the little giggle that escapes her when her poor, tired friend literally falls face first into the bed she laid out for him.

There's a quiet mumble about him being cute in there, but Ochako is keeping her voice down now, tucking him in like a good friend would and even giving his hair a little ruffle.]
