[It's been a hell of a year, or close enough to it, for Ochako and her many friends here. From the varying trials and tribulations of general quests, to the more perilous missions between kingdoms, to new beginnings and changing tides...it's all a path forward on the long road of life. Despite the difficulties, Ochako's been able to reflect on this past year and finally find herself a bit - a new title and a new, but still somewhat the same, purpose in this world. Something given, something earned (even if she doesn't really see it that way, yet), but still very much hers.

Lady Uraraka (hrrgh...it'll never feel normal, yikes) is throwing a bit of a holiday celebration at her small castle to celebrate the coming and going of a full year. Not only that, but also Christmas prior, and even her birthday as well! All friends she knows, and anyone those friends care to invite, are welcome!! They'll be guided to a decently sized ballroom where several tables have been set up for people to relax and eat, and a separate table for gift giving and gift receiving as well!



What, you thought you'd come to this celebration and leave empty-handed? Pshaw.]

Really? You have a costume and everything?! Hehe, yeah, I wanna see it!

[ Alberto's only become familiar with the concept of superheroes since arriving here, and only because of Izuku and their comic book trading. Alberto tries to keep his excitement contained, but there is a hint of emotional whiplash, hard to hide how cool he thinks she is. Not that he didn't before, but, y'know — now she's even cooler. ]

Ehehe, okay! Lemme get fixed up here and I'll take you to my room!!

[His excitement in infectious. Ochako doesn't get a chance to really talk about heroics and actually even wear her costume outside that much. Heroes don't exist in this world, and even with quests and the like...it's never felt like the missions she used to go on. The last real time she felt that way was with the tournament, the wraiths, and...the catastrophe with Lestari and Celliwig. It's nice to talk about something that's so important to her, in a much happier scope.

It'll take a few minutes for Ochako to swiftly set and bandage her fingers, and one of the caterers she hired was called out as they know a tiny bit of healing magic, but once she's good to go...Ochako is ushering Alberto out of the ballroom and up towards her room in the estate.]

[ He’s all too eager to go see. He’s also never been in a castle before this, or… any kind of big fancy building at all… He’s been inside more buildings, period, since arriving in Avalon, than he’d ever even been inside in Portorosso. Most his new friends here would probably be floored to find out Alberto lived pretty much outside his entire life before moving in with Massimo… And Massimo’s pescheria was not so glamorous, itself, though it certainly felt like it to Alberto. It was a narrow two-story building with a flat above the shop; there was only one bedroom, which Massimo gave to Giulia in the summertimes, and then more permanently to Alberto, so the man of the house himself slept on a bed shoved under a ladder in the kitchen… and Alberto’s never really given that a second thought, having never been to any other humans’ houses, back home nor here. He’s been to a friend’s inn room but, uh, that’s it. Hard to imagine why Alberto doesn’t get invited many places…

But he got invited here, tonight, so he’s living it up, man! Excuse him as he gawks all around them all the way to her room, all the while wearing a vague, dazzled smile that seemingly can’t be wiped off. Just the look on his face is as if the kid’s scarcely ever been inside, one could easily joke…! Except… it’d be like true. Yeesh. ]

[The castle itself isn't much, really... It's actually quite plain, all things considered. There were a few furnishings when she got it, just the bare basics, and Ochako's only been living in the place maybe a month now. She hasn't exactly thought to decorate, coming from such a poor lifestyle to begin with. Plus, her thoughts were mainly on what she wanted to do and be as a noble, how she can put that title to good use for other people, not for herself.

But the look of awe and wonder does make Ochako giggle a little as she looks back over her shoulder at him when he speaks. She rubs the back of her neck as she takes him to her room, pushing wide the door into a large master bedroom. Again, Ochako tried to keep it simple, but her staff sort of...not quite bullied her into it, but firmly advised she at least have a space suited for herself and her own needs AND wants. Still simple, but definitely cozy - a large bed (larger than Ochako's ever had in her life), an impressive walk-in closet off to the side where she's headed to, an attached bathroom, and a--]

Oh!! Aludra-san, no! Off the bed!! You'll get fur all over it, and the roomkeeps just washed the sheets this morning!

[Oh yes, that is a wolf taking up the entirety of that big ol' bed. Not just any wolf, though, it's absolutely massive, the size of a draft horse, curled up and snoozing away on the mattress, whining and yawning right in Ochako's face when her ear is pulled to wake up and move.]

Bleeeh...! Your breath smells like spoiled sushi!!
