[It's been a hell of a year, or close enough to it, for Ochako and her many friends here. From the varying trials and tribulations of general quests, to the more perilous missions between kingdoms, to new beginnings and changing tides...it's all a path forward on the long road of life. Despite the difficulties, Ochako's been able to reflect on this past year and finally find herself a bit - a new title and a new, but still somewhat the same, purpose in this world. Something given, something earned (even if she doesn't really see it that way, yet), but still very much hers.
Lady Uraraka (hrrgh...it'll never feel normal, yikes) is throwing a bit of a holiday celebration at her small castle to celebrate the coming and going of a full year. Not only that, but also Christmas prior, and even her birthday as well! All friends she knows, and anyone those friends care to invite, are welcome!! They'll be guided to a decently sized ballroom where several tables have been set up for people to relax and eat, and a separate table for gift giving and gift receiving as well!
What, you thought you'd come to this celebration and leave empty-handed? Pshaw.]

He nods with another small laugh. Which turns into a surprised noise as he watches the light barriers appear. The charm should be able to sustain Gokudera's longevity in the least and help with light potency.]
Ah! That's a good way to test it! C-careful not to fall, Gokudera! I'll keep count!

And just like that Izuku somehow takes a notebook out of seemingly nowhere (where did he keep it...??) and starts to take some notes! Izuku has always been someone who easily analyzes stuff so he is noting everything! Little does he know that Gokudera might be a little drunk right now? Hopefully, this goes well...]
Keep going...! I think I can already tell how stable those barriers are at least in comparison to Kacchan's magic. Keep going, please!

[Which Midoriya really… isn’t. He’s not short, but Gokudera wouldn’t call him tall.]
I’m going to be doing this for a while, you know? It’s my own weight, after all.
[To any bystander, he’s just sort of levitating a half foot above the ground.]

[He’s a rather thin young man, after all. Gokudera’s magic is stronger than he is physically.]

[Gokudera extends the barrier so it’s much wider. It’s gonna hit someone’s shins if he’s not careful and he’s looking around before the light spreads out and catches under Midoriya’s foot.]

[He scoffs and steps back, motioning to the space in front of him, though it extends in a yard around him in every direction.]

[That's fine! He'll climb up onto the platform of light himself, then!! Once he's up he wobbles a bit but he has it!]

[Gokudera can feel the strain of sustaining the light platform under Midoriya.]
Of course it’s steady! I’m only going to move it if you move, so it stays beneath you. It’s no hover-board.

[He perks up and smiles! With that notebook in hand so he jots down a few things!]
Your magic is already strong! I'm not sure you even needed the charm...! Do you feel any differences?

[He takes a step forward and up, as if climbing stairs, and he stops, feet where his head had been, and he’s putting a hand on it so it flickers with electricity. Then, he’s lifting a hand up and making several more light discs.]
I could use my shields as more than shields…
[Gokudera tips the light, moves the barriers, then takes one of his marbles from his pocket, tossing it so it bounces off one shield to the next so it can easily be caught by Midoriya, or land right at his feet. It’s some quick math, angles, and he’s climbing back down before his feet are once more on the ground.]
If I could last longer, I could keep the people important to me safe. So while I may not need it now, it will help me improve.
[Hopefully he doesn’t grow too reliant on the charm. He’s not thinking about that, though, just a little fatigued from showing off. That’s as close to his powers from home as his magic will get… until he can make a new cannon for his arm that can transform into a bow… or maybe he should experiment with different types of bows.]

[It's almost like a plinko machine! Izuku stumbles a little as he tries to stay upright and not topple right off the light barriers and reaches out just in time to catch the marble in his hands. He might seem like a clumsy person sometimes but Izuku's reaction times are spot on.]
Kacchan uses his barriers a lot like this but he sometimes mixes his elemental magic with them too, bouncing fire or the like off them...
[Or trapping in some of Izuku's magic. Or he's made actual lazer beams-
He looks to Gokudera and nods. He then joins Gokudera and hops off the platform as well.]
It should at least be able to help you with your magical stamina, Gokudera. I hope it helps and I know you'll be able to improve with or without it.

I’m getting used to working elemental magic in. Used to be hard with the uh-
[He taps his neck.]
It was like a super-conductor but back in Anchor, I told you about the fire, right?
[He struggles with his elemental magic, and now the only thing he really has the ropes on is electricity, which is more something he summons and directs. The fire is easier now than it was before. It took moving past some trauma to actually make fire with his magic without being scared. Todoroki actually helped him move past that hurdle.]
That’s obvious. I’m not where I want to be yet, and every step forward is a benefit.

His gaze lingers on Aurora and he wonders if they can dance somewhere. Maybe some spare room. It’s a castle, there has to be an area large enough for them to do some ballroom dancing. He may even get to teach her how to tango!]
