[It's been a hell of a year, or close enough to it, for Ochako and her many friends here. From the varying trials and tribulations of general quests, to the more perilous missions between kingdoms, to new beginnings and changing tides...it's all a path forward on the long road of life. Despite the difficulties, Ochako's been able to reflect on this past year and finally find herself a bit - a new title and a new, but still somewhat the same, purpose in this world. Something given, something earned (even if she doesn't really see it that way, yet), but still very much hers.

Lady Uraraka (hrrgh...it'll never feel normal, yikes) is throwing a bit of a holiday celebration at her small castle to celebrate the coming and going of a full year. Not only that, but also Christmas prior, and even her birthday as well! All friends she knows, and anyone those friends care to invite, are welcome!! They'll be guided to a decently sized ballroom where several tables have been set up for people to relax and eat, and a separate table for gift giving and gift receiving as well!

What, you thought you'd come to this celebration and leave empty-handed? Pshaw.]

[Listen, the blanket that Izuku got for her is super large and super cozy and snug - how could she not use it tonight to watch the fireworks and cuddle up with her favorite little mochi? Ochako giggles, grinning wide as she tucks a stray strand of Eri's hair behind her ear.]

Mm, I'm glad!! It's because Eri is such a good girl that she got sooo many presents!! So many that Santa couldn't even carry them all and had to send them here with everyone else!

[She will not kill this child's idea of Santa, okokok. Even if the gifts delivered were technically from friends and such...Ochako will tell the little white lie that Santa himself entrusted them with delivery because there were too many for him to carry. Yes >__>]

Ah! So that's why? I didn't know you all were friends with Santa Claus!

[ Her idea of Santa successfully preserved, she leans her head back into Ochako, snuggling up to her. The time when she couldn't have possibly ever dreamed of a day like this... it feels so long ago now. ]

What was he like? Was he really big and red and super-duper fast?

[Haha...phew!! Ochako is glad she got that little white lie out there, and may go so far as to text the others to spread the news around in hopes that they catch on. Can't have Eri's whimsy crushed ~~otherwise Ochako will crush bones~~.]

Yeah, he's a nice, big grandpa with a long white beard and a red suit!! I didn't get to see his reindeer though...but I hear they're super duper fast cuz they're magic. Actually, Eri-chan, a lot of Heroes get to know Santa and his reindeer! Did you know, there's actually a bunch of Heroes - especially those with animal handling quirks like Kouda-kun's - that team up with vets all around the globe that are dedicated to making sure Santa's deer have food, water, and are healthy during the trip on Christmas Eve?

[This isn't even a lie. The "team" is called ELVES and it's the most precious and wonderful thing ever to hit the Internet. The fact that Heroes globally latched onto the idea and promoted it is equally awesome. A...marketting and PR ploy, sure, but hey, it's harmless and cute.]

Aah...!! Really!? That's amazing!

[ A nice, big granpda with super fast magic reindeer... and Heroes get to know him!? ]

Ne ne! Could I meet him if I became a Hero someday?

[ It was already an idea in her head... since before even arriving in Avalon, she's wondered what it would be like to wear the same uniform everyone else at UA wore... ]

[Oh? WHAT'S THIS? Ochako's eyes are wide and shimmering, an enormous grin spreading on her face at the implication that single sentence holds. It makes her chest warm, and she will definitely have to tell Izuku about it later, but--]

Uwaah, Eri-chan wants to be a Hero?! I bet you'd be the very greatest ever!! And I'm sure Santa would be so happy to meet you, too! Ehehe, and I bet because you'd already such a good and smart girl, Principal Nezu and the others would let you into UA on recommendation!! Just like Momo-chan!

[ Her cheeks redden as a grin just as big as Ochako's forms on her face, she'd been imagining it for a while... especially back home. What it'd be like to go to UA like everyone else someday, to maybe even help someone like how she'd been helped. She doesn't know how yet, but...

She think she'd like that, and she only gets happier with Ochako's words. ]

I think... I think the things you all do... I wanna be able to do things like that too...!

[Eri is such a good girl, and so strong, too. For going through what she did, and managing to get through it and learn to smile again, to want to do good for others...it really makes Ochako's heart feel warm. The grin evens out into a warm smile, and she hugs the little girl closer, pressing an affectionate kiss to the top of her head.]

I'm sure Eri-chan will be an amazing Hero someday. But you have to work really hard you know!! It's not as easy as it looks! Make sure to do all your homework, and reading and writing! You're still going to school here too, right?

[She's actually not quite sure, but Eri definitely should be learning her letters and numbers at least. There's bound to be kindergarten's and daycares and stuff here for her to continue her education.]

[ She giggles at the affectionate little kiss to the top of her head... she could've never imagined being like this before, but now... she's genuinely and truly happy. ]

Mm! I've been working hard! I've gotten a lot better at writing! And spelling! And reading! I've even gotten to go to school!

[ For the first time, too! ]

[Ochako actually looks a little surprised at that, brows shooting up as her mouth makes a little 'oh' shape. Eri's finally been enrolled in a proper school? Ah, she's a bit sad to have missed her first day, but...it can't be helped. She's just happy the girl is being taken care of, and she's slowly starting to learn life skills that will help her greatly.]

Eeh?! Eri-chan is finally going to school like a big girl!! You have to tell me all about it sometime, ne? We can have a tea party, or even lunch on the weekends, and you tell me all about what you do, okay?

[Since Ochako definitely has a sitting room in her castle now, where she could absolutely host a friend or two for a small luncheon, or tea.]

[ Yep, she was very excited about going when she found out there was a school here in Avalon that took in otherworlders. ]

Mm! Of course!

[ She'd love to come over! Ochako has this big castle now, after all! ]

[Mostly so she can have food, games, and maybe a room prepped for Eri to take naps in, really. Ochako loves the girl, but she doesn't have too many games or toys a small child would be interested in...especially not in this big ol' castle.

For now though, the fireworks are starting, and they're coloring the sky with big, beautiful bursts of red, blue, and even purple!! It's rather loud, since they're so close to them, but even the small show is nice to see to round out the evening.]
