A full indentured servitude can reflect on one's attitude

🧙 WHO: Tsuna and You
⚔️️ WHAT: December happenings, quests and chaos
🕒 WHEN: throughout December
🗺️ WHERE: In Camelot
⚠️ WARNINGS: n/a but could be added if necessary

A - Avalon Crossing: Snowy Shack Paradise

This doesn't make any sense.

[Says Tsuna, as he stands beside a mound of snow and holding a card out in his hands. This had to be a mistake, Tsuna had only made the snowball on a lark. It hadn't meant to be the entry into a sidequest.

But here he was. With a mound of snow and a request to make an Indoor Tropical Paradise. Out of snow?

Tsuna sighs, pulling on his mittens and rather glad that even if they cannot become the Vongola gloves, they still work as regular mittens. Perhaps even better, since they come from Leon's fibres.

At the very least, he can make a fort? That's a start, right?

B - Banyanished Banyananas!

[Tsuna probably shouldn't be looking into this.

The dark web isn't a place he should be looking. But ever since he'd heard about criminal groups using it, particularly when a mafia-sounding group was harassing the refugees, he's been keeping an eye on it. It bothers him that he does it. He's supposed to be avoiding this kind of thing and yet now he's being drawn in of his own volition.

But seeing the quest about the Prison makes his heart sink and he knows he can't ignore it. It reminds him too much about Vindice and their prison. And while he doesn't know the full extent of that operation, he knows enough that it bothers him. (He thinks of Mukuro, Ken, and Chikusa, and as dangerous as they are, they don't deserve that. There might be dangerous people in this prison, but they don't deserve to have their souls sucked away).

And so he's at the library, researching banyan trees and occasionally glancing around furtively, as if someone might catch him in the act.

And eventually, an anonymous message appears on the network:]

What do people know about the underground fae prison>

C - Christmas Chaos

[He'd entered the toy store on a whim.

Even if Camelot didn't celebrate Christmas it was getting to that time of year, and well, maybe Tsuna was attached to a few traditions. And he did have friends who could probably use a gift. He'd really just meant to look at the toys, as he had time to actually decide on purchases. It was a unique store, with handmade wooden toys. Something you'd be more likely to see in a TV special than in real life.

He'd only meant to look.

He was examining some wooden robots, and even dared to pick one up to see how it could move its arms and legs, when there was a shout from behind him and he turned quickly to see the store attendant, a young man dressed ing a green uniform, wobbling on a ladder. Body acting on instinct, Tsuna dove to help him, only in his turn and the dive he knocked over several displays. Toys and decorations came crashing down and to add insult to injury, he was unsuccessful in even helping the attendant, who lands with an "oof" on the floor. There is a scramble of hasty apologies and an attempt to help clean up, when the back door opens and a large man in a red suit with a white beard storms into the room.

The red of his face nearly matches the red of his pants as he surveys the scene and stern eyes land on Tsuna, who cowers.

Anyway, that's how Tsuna finds himself running around town, dressed as a jolly green Christmas-like elf. Maybe you see him trying to drag a cart of wood around, maybe he's buying paint at a store, maybe he's just doing a good old-fashioned coffee run. He's trying not to be seen though, even if he does stick out.]

That's right. I overheard some shady-looking guys mentioning it near a bar the other day.

[Sometimes, it was good to hang out in places like that to see what kind of dirt you get. Kotarou's curiosity for danger and thrills could get the better of him sometimes.]

But Dinas Emrys isn't a place that I'm familiar with at all. Hell, it totally sounds like a place where you'd find a dungeon crawling with some high level monsters.

[Kotarou will take a moment to switch the conversation to "Private". You never know who was reading along.]

Not sure, but I'm digging into more information at the library.

Where are you at?
scriptwriter: (Duuuuuur hurrrrrr?)

Good spot! I'm also at the library, so I'll meet you soon.

[Once he puts his phone away, Kotarou will be heading to the back before he sees Tsuna right here. He'll take a moment to glance around before speaking up.]

Um, excuse me... Were you the one who was looking into the fae prison?
scriptwriter: (Home sweet home.)

[personal profile] scriptwriter 2021-12-21 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)
That's right. You don't look like the kind of guy who'd go directly into stuff like this, but you must have a nice pair of balls on ya.

[Kotarou has some experience with this, but he's not perfect. Still, it was more fun to do research with someone else.]

It's not everyday that you hear someone sympathizing with prisoners. But I can relate a little... Even people like that don't deserve to have their life force taken away for committing some crimes.
scriptwriter: (Let's ponder DEEPER thoughts.)

These fae dudes sound pretty dangerous, though. If it were human beings doing the judging, then they'd at least put them in prison for a few years and let them out later.

[Hmm... That reminded Kotarou of something that he read from one of the books.]

From what I've read so far... It looks like we've got good fae and bad fae. I think people who know bargaining magic might be familiar with how to speak with one. The bad ones are the ones who take the lives of summoners.

Bargaining magic isn't my specialty either. But I think I can woo someone with my silver tongue.

[That's Kotarou's perspective... He usually fumbles whenever he tries to make deals or the other party has to be incredibility gullible enough for fall for Kotarou's lies. Not that he lies out of maliciousness, but it's usually for the greater good or for simple laughs.]

That's probably a good idea. I actually don't know anyone who knows that kind of magic. I'm guessing that if there's good fae out there, then perhaps we could form an alliance with them or something.
